  You must have California plates on your vehicle to sell more than 50lbs of cans, don't bother calling to ask, the ladies in the office apparently don't know the rules, but the guys on the floor do, this might seem like a non issue to most people that go there but I'm from winterhaven and most people in winterhaven have Az plates.

  This recycling center is fantastic! I needed to get rid of a variety of household items, including glass, metal cans, and old batteries.   For this recycling center being 1 of few in the valley, it's never very busy. Mind you, I'm only taking in aluminum cans. Unlike the other place in Imperial, I never have to wait in a line.

  This place is a joke. I was told I could not exceed $52 ( I had around 5 or 6 bins of plastic bottles- doesn't matter) . What you guys should've done is at least give me 49 bucks and I wouldn't mind. Instead I was give WAY LESS than that. As I was leaving this place, a truck came in with a TRAILER FULL of big sacks of plastic. Did ya'll give this person $10? $20? $30? $40? I don't think so. Sounds to me ya'll more than likely gave him more than 52...

  I brought 1 regular sized trash bag full of empty and sorted aluminum cans. It turned out to be about 2 lbs of payable aluminum. Came out to just over $3. They said the limit is 100 lbs per week. They pay $1.65 per pound of aluminum. Hope this is helpful.

  I called for their buying price for yellow brass. They said $1 a pound. I called a place in tumwater washington, where i figured I would get a low amount paid... I was told $1.99 a pound. I have to ask, why would they pay 2 times what SA pays here? That was an education for me. El Centro people get robbed any time the average joe who needs money goes to sell his stuff. A large recycling corporation, with centers in many places, paying 50% of what is paid in other cities. This must be the result of El Centro shutting down every other recycler in this city. Monopoly ring a bell? No competition means they offer whatever they feel like and we have no choice unless we go to a distant recycler. This is an example of what is wrong with America. We can no longer trust corporations to conduct fair and honorable business. They prey upon whomever opportunity presents to them. Don't do business with them unless you have no choice.

  I weighed my cans before leaving by standing on my scale then picking up hey the bags which stated I had close to 50 lbs give or take. I sent my brother to get the money and didn't look at the receipt or cash. Got home and the receipt said 22 lbs. No way not even close. Rip off.

  Went there with a full sized truck full of plastic bottles and a few bags of cans. The lead worker told me I cant recycle more than 100 pounds of water bottles, "OK" I said, I'll unload 100 pounds (Which BTW I had no idea how much I had) and bring the rest back tomorrow. I was told I couldn't do this as I was already here so they offered me .35 cents per pound instead of the $1.40, so I asked if I could split it up since I had my son with me, nope. Then I asked if I could give it to another customer who was there with a shopping bag worth of water bottles, so the lead worker pulled out his estimate of 100 pounds of plastic and then I gave the other 80 pounds to the dude who ended up getting about $100 dollars for it. Not sure if this was a scam or if this was their way of doing business.

  The staff may be rough around the edges upon meeting them. But as familiarity increases, you start to hone in on the reasons why, and learn to build trust. That being said the prices are truly decent! And if you run into an issue, there are ways for the staff to help you out.

  Only reason they get one star is because I can't give them zero. I would suggest going to any other recycling business around before ever going here. They always close early, poor service, and rude lazy workers. They also don't take CRV on weekends apparently, would've been nice if they could let people know that ahead of time. Might as well just not be open on Saturday.

  Drove a ways from El Centro for CRV just to be welcomed by a sign that says no "CRV MON-FRI ". Pretty inconvenient for us 9 to 5 ers.

  Claims to close at 4pm so I wasted time and gas coming from Brawley to find out by a sign that they close at 1pm. No weekends. Has no update on Google maps to inform they close earlier or that hours may vary. Very disappointed and upset with the info I was provided.

  Doesnt distribute car wait time efficiently. You could be waiting for an hour, put you in another lane wait another hour The car behind you that was waiting for 10 minutes gets right in. Bad management.

  They have it no where on here that they will be closed at 11... drove 15 miles not to mention the time it took me to pack everything in... only to be turned away and say we close at 11 ... update your damn page... and online hours... or at least answer you damn phone or have a recording saying that it will be closed... will never use this place agai

  Got the ol rip this guy attitude. Aprox. $400 worth of clean aluminum and copper and this fuy got $44 and a 3 day hold. Ill never use any affiliate again
