I visited the Discount Tire at the Imperial Valley Mall in El Centro for a tire rotation. The wait time was reasonable—only about 30 minutes—which I appreciated, and the staff was courteous. I also liked that the service area is visible through the glass, so you can see the work being done.
However, I noticed that some of the tires—specifically on the driver’s side—were placed back on the exact same spot they were removed from. While I’m not a tire expert, I’ve always understood that a proper rotation usually involves switching sides or axles to help the tires wear more evenly over time. This makes me question whether I’m getting the most life out of my tires.
Additionally, during the process, a lug nut rolled under the car and was almost forgotten. I had to point it out before they finished—something I would expect the technicians to catch themselves.
Overall, the service was quick and friendly, but the lack of proper rotation and the missed lug nut raise concerns about attention to detail.
Discount Tire at the mall very honest and professional service…
During our last visit we had quite a few repairs that needed to be done, all tires got inspected and installed they where very honest with parts and labor, they explain everything before the installation got done.
Their quotes have always been more than fair (4 or 5 visits so far) and they are both Polite and Professional.
If you are looking for an honest tire shop I would definitely recommend these guys!
Bought tires for my wifes car at a good price. They match prices and their customer service is very good. Took my wifes car for a flat tire and they rotated all four tires and and checked the car overall. Excellent customer service.
I want to commend the Mgr I believe and technician Carlos. I had a tire balance problem and decided to have it checked out at Discount tire in Louisiana after leaving Florida. The problem continued. I stopped in New Mexico Discount tire to check the air which was approx 9 lbs under flatted. The vibration still continued. This leads me to believe the work wasn’t done at the previous location. After 2600 miles, I went to my “Go To” Discount Tire in EL Centro. The manager knew exactly what needed to be done which he relayed to the technician where the job was done correctly and fast. I Highly recommend this location for all your tire needs. Well done!
Went with a Goodyear warranty case to the shop.
Goodyear told me that they Discount Tire (Rick) told Goodyear the opposite of what I proved.
I called Discount Tire to clearify but Rick wasn't available but he will call me back.
NO call back until today....
Even though they were short handed and very busy they still stuck to my appointment time and had my car done within 15 minutes once they had my car keys in hand. Staff are friendly too.

Quick service. Was told it would take about an hour for a tire change, but the workers were quick and efficient finishing in just over 20 minutes. If you need new tires or repair, this is the place to go
I ordered tires on-line and was scheduled to have them put on a week after I ordered them. I showed up, no tires. The manager said he called me to reschedule. I checked my phones, no call from them. He was snickering when I told them I was disappointed.

Great experience , was planning on paying the full amount for my tires but got offered the store credit card with 5 % off my total and got approved easily through my phone and left to enjoy my day at the snow with my brand new tires and no money down with no interest for 6 months great deal from discount tire highly recommend
In case you want to be treated unprofessional and disrespectful come to this place. Manager does not have the courtesy to give you an explanation of why is a new light on on your dash. You try to go back to talk to them and they don’t have idea what’s wrong with your car. At the end it’s just their low numbers on sales. Used tire trade in service is a scam, if your car tires have 6 months life on them is not even worth it to have them trade in for probably 5-10 bucks for them. Go to a Walmart, Costco, or etc… instead. Good luck talking to a Manager who does not know professionalism and respect.
We were in town for only one day, and needed to change tires before heading south into Baja. A few days before we arrived, we called to place a special order, and they didn’t even require a deposit. Arrived on a Thursday at 9 AM, and all four tires were in before 10:15 AM. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for stellar service and an ample tire selection. Kudos to Jimmy and all the kind and knowledgeable staff.
My $400 tires are ruined! Guy gave us an ok deal on a nice set. I asked if they could align the wheels, he said sure we can. After 6 months, front tires have toe and camber wear.
The people here are always fast and kind and courteous and always do their best to get us what we need at a good price. Several times they have gone above and beyond for us. I don’t usually like going to big chains but these guys are awesome and I highly recommend them!
Johnny and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful. My wife and I were on our way to San Diego for our honeymoon and they sped up the process for us. They explained what I needed and what options I had, as well as personal, friendly service and recommendations. They took the time to explain why or why not they recommended options and took into account where I live and where I was going. Every employee there was super friendly and took the time to smile and congratulate us. Highly recommend.
This friends are fantastic!! They are so fast and at the same time provided a wonderful experience. I been a customer for almost 10 years and they are always happy and I like that good vibe plus they they have really good prices and amazing warranty.
Pepe provided us top notch service and answered every one of our questions happily and without hesitation. We were headed to Tempe AZ and got a flat. Our roadside assistance person suggested this place and lead us here. Pepe helped us on many replacement choices and of course all the questions I had that followed. We were 3rd in line with no appointment, naturally, and the whole ordeal probably took around an hour. This Discount Tire was very professional and you can tell they take great pride in their work! We hope never to be back given the circumstances, but rest assured that we're covered at any Discount Tire for the life of the tires. Not bad considering they were used tires.
I've been getting tires here for years. This location is great. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean. They are very helpful, but not pushy. Free water bottles is nice, especially in the summer. There can be a wait at times, so make an appointment. But give them the time they need, remember, they are changing your tires not making you fast food.
