Esteban Trujillo went above and beyond to help us when we got a flat on the 8 heading to Yuma from San Diego. He gave excellent service. He made us a priority and we only waited about ten minutes for the new tire install. He helped make a stressful situation ten times better. We were able to get back in the road and we made to Yuma and back home safely.
Aldo did an amazing job helping me get the right parts at the perfect price and Joel did an amazing job as well installing the parts on my vehicle. I highly recommend Pep Boys and I will be back.
Very poor experience. We broke down while passing through town in the parking lot and pushed our rig into the bay. Explained that we were not from here and were hoping to be efficient with our time. They gave me the old “we are going to have to drop the gas tank and flush it for 1000 dollars before we can even start” runaround. Car then sat for four days with only the changing of the spark plugs and zero diagnostic work. I got a different answer every time I spoke to someone about the process. Then after reaching out multiple times they finally called back said the only way to see what was wrong was to do a full tear down. We pulled from the shop, they left the old spark plugs under the hood and smashed the hood down until it closed, left greasy hand prints all over it and charged me 200 for spark plugs.
Came in for a battery swap and the whole crew from Esteban to David exceeded our expectations. From walking through the door to being handed our keys, out the door in less than 30 min. Thanks guys!
Great service as always.I have been going to this facility on going for my repairs and maintenance services. Aldo and the rest of the team have kept my vehicle in top running condition. Which is vital since I commute 120 miles daily.
Went in for a Lyft Auto Inspection, two gentleman where playing video games in the back, after 5 minutes one saw me and wanted me to make an appointment. After the wait and no acknowledgement, decided to take my car somewhere else. Maybe some customer service training would help? I forget though, we the customers are lucky they would stop their game and help us.

Pep Boys delivered, as always. No issues with the auto service. The only issue was with the customer service. It was outstanding! Specifically Aldo, from the El Centro shop. He made sure that I got the best price and that I was completely satisfied. I will definitely return.
Went it 2 hours before closing and needed all brake pads and rotors replaced with an oil change, they finished it before they closed and called me to update me on the process. These guys do a great job and would definitely recommend them!

This place was a light in the darkness. On a Sunday, when no one else was open or had my specific tires in stock, Pep Boys took care of me. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to utilize them again. I do not live in the area and needed tires quickly and I highly recommend them.
I had all 6 of my rear wheel lug studs fail driving from AZ to CA on HWY 111. I towed my truck to them and they had me out the door in a couple of hours. The team is very helpful and a class act.
Esteban at the El Centro PepBoys went above and beyond to ensure great service. *Redeemed my faith in PepBoys after a rather disturbing experience at the Balboa location some years ago. Images of my vehicle were provided during the inspection process so I knew exactly what condition my vehicle was in prior to signing any work orders. Work was done in a timely manner and opportunity for an extended labor warranty was even offered. Bravo Esteban!

While visiting El Centro from Las Vegas, we developed an issue with the two front tires on our Grand Cherokee. We stopped at the Pep Boys on Imperial Blvd on Sunday morning. The service writer named Juan was extremely helpful and gave us a great deal on two Cooper tires and a front end alignment. He got us right in and Marcos got the work completed in no time. They even rebalanced the two rear tires. We were concerned about being from out of town and not being treated fairly, but our concerns were unfounded. I would like to thank both of these guys for taking such good care of us.

I was in a bind and in a middle of a long road trip when the aluminum plate on our car came loose. We didn’t know what to do and were nowhere near home our destination and had limited options as it was close to end of the day. On a Hail Mary, i took it in to Pep Boys as it was still open for advice and help. Thankfully, they assessed the situation and were able to remove the plate at no additional charge. We still have 3.5 hours to our destination and am traveling with a small child. Francisco came through in the clutch! Great service and a god send!
My wife took our 2023 Chevy Suburban in to our local Pep Boys to get a routine alignment and tire rotation. The service manager Esteban Trujillo and his team advised my wife that the vehicle didn’t need a rotation. When I got off work and my wife told me that they didn’t rotate the Tires I took it back in to get it done. Once there Esteban said that he’ll be charging me for the rotation and that it would take 3 hrs to get it done. I asked him if he can make an exception and get it done sooner since I had already paid for the service and had my three toddlers with me at the time and he looked at me with a smart attitude and said no, that it’s going to take 3 hrs. I asked again to make an exception and he said no. I told him I would leave a bad review for his horrible customer service provided and he simply said ok. Thank you Esteban for your horrible service and your corporate office will be hearing about this. My Business here at my local Pep boys is done for good.
I was assisted by a Francisco he that was most helpful. It was a really hot day and I had been out running errands all day. Francisco was most efficient at taking care of me and making sure my care got taken in quickly. It was the end of the day and he was still at the top of his game. I really appreciate the courteous great customer service I always get at this El Centro Store. Thank you so very much! Good customer service is hard to get now a days.
En route back to AZ after having brand new tires and wheels installed in San Diego on our Sprinter van, we had a recurring pressure drop issue in one tire.
Hobbled from one gas station to another until we came to the nearest large town that still had an open tire shop.
Pep Boys El Centro to our rescue. 45 min before closing on a Friday night, they got us in, checked the leaking NEW tire, identified the problem and ultimately switched it out with the full-sized spare for us.
Professional service with a smile and didn’t even charge us!?! Can’t thank these guys enough!!!!! Highly recommend!!
My family and I are grateful for Aldo and Carlos they went above and beyond to help us out. We drove in from AZ and our car had some problems without hesitation Aldo was willing to stay after hours along with Carlos the mechanic to fix the car. Thanks guys for also being honest!

Such speedy and fairly priced service! We went here for a tire patch up (which turned into a tire change because we found out that the tire had too long a tear). It's super impressive that they have the exact type of tire that we need! We heard that they have a tire inventory of more than a thousand tires! Steven was very friendly and helpful. His service just made us so comfortable—not only did they replace the tire, they also fixed our fender and added air to all our tires, even the spare!
The Service here was amazing!!! We had purchased a used car, that was sold to us with a bad alternator, and we were stranded in the middle of the desert. The team here at Pep Boys fixed everything that needed to be fixed and they had us back on the road in no time. Thank you very much to everyone on this team that took care of us!!!
Had Front Brake Package with new rotors put on my mustang at 57000 in June 2023 I’m now being asked to resurface my rotors at 57800 August 14th 2023. Less than 1 thousand miles later I am being told to resurface my Rotors. I wouldn’t trust the El Centro Branch Last time they touch my vehicle. Also Carlos was the one who installed my brakes the first time. Photos are first time and then 2nd time.
