The best tow company I’ve dealt with. George was extremely helpful and even though it was hard to work with my truck, he refused to give up and got it to my house safely. Highly recommended
If I could give 0 stars I would was told they would provide a tow 155-250 then got a call and was told that they would arrive at 220 then I had to call for a update where I was told I had to wait another 20 minutes then the driver calls me and tells me I have to wait another 30-35 min with a toddler in the heat

Person on the phone told me the wait time was around 12 to 19 minutes if I pay an extra $76 fee because it was on a weekend. Had to wait 2 hours for this trash towing company
I appreciate R&S towing for being available during my car troubles, and although I had issues with my insurance, they were understanding about the update. Overall they were quick to respond when I initially needed assistance when no one else was available.

I would have rated them a zero star if I could. I've had services with this tow company before with no issues. I'm not sure if the driver that was issued to me on September the 28th at 10:30 p.m. was drunk high or just feeling lazy. But mysteriously I'm waiting in total darkness with a car that was having mechanical issues.. my insurance assigned me to r&s towing. They said they would be to me within an hour after an hour pass I got a phone call from my roadside assistance telling me that the tow driver alleged that he arrived to the location and couldn't find me........ I have worked a 12-hour shift on top of that I was extremely hungry. The idea that I will request a tow, leave the vehicle at the location in pitch Black to then have the tow truck cancel on their end. That tow driver completely lied they usually reach out to even confirm that they're on their way and they never did. The services received were completely unacceptable and as I can see they have a very low rating either way so this probably will go unnoticed. This tow company needs to be investigated and eventually shut down. I will also be reaching out to better Business bureau with receipts to prove how faulty they were. A woman on the side of the road late at night left alone for 3 hours ( because they had to reassign me another tow company) it's never acceptable. I requested for my insurance company to block them out of my account so they never show up when I request roadside services.. I'm also going to sign up for AAA so they ever pop up I will be canceling the service call.. I will also be reaching out to my insurance office to show proof that they never showed up or attempted to reach out. It'll be interesting to find out that they get paid for being called out to a location whether or not the customer is actually there. I'm noticing a lot of tow companies in Fresno area tend to be on some type of money scam and it's scary. What I mean by that is collect the money but don't care to offer the service.. if you decide to use this tow company good luck to yoU
Today around 7:30pm I had an issue with my tire and the gentlemen was friendly, quick, and gentle with my car. Allstate picked this place for me, but I would definitely recommend this company to others. Thank you for towing my car home, taking me home safely, and being awesome.
Our tire magically disintegrated on our way to Yosemite National Park. It was the middle of nowhere, almost 5 hours away from home. It was 4am when it happened, and our insurance company couldn’t find us a tire shop or a towing company near by. After a long wait, they found R&S Towing. They drove over an hour and a half to us, and drove us an hour away to the nearest available tire shop. Long story short, it had been a very rough morning, we were stranded in the middle of nowhere for almost 5 hours, we were super stressed and anxious, and we are so grateful that they were of great help! Freddy was the tow truck driver that transported our car; we had to hitch a ride with him as well. He did a great job, carried a conversation with us that got us out of our funk! It was nice to get someone in a great mood, with great customer service…. We wouldn’t have been in the mood to deal with someone unpleasant after all we had gone through! Definitely recommend them.
Earlier this week I walked out from a quick shopping errand to see to that my car had a flat tire. After trying to change to the spare with no avail, I place a request through road side, R&S towing was assigned. I called and spoke with Dillon, after making sure that the car was in a safe spot and I was out of danger, he left me know the wait time. Not only did he arrive sooner than expect, he was professional, personable and quick. I will be sure to keep this contact in my Rolodex for any more unplanned car woes. A service provider never showed up at the scheduled time and then would not answer the phone when I tried to call when they were late. It also showed they had completed the job when I looked at my insurance companies website. I am not sure if they were trying to get money from my insurance without doing the job, but they never showed up or called me back.
I was unfortunate enough to have my car towed by this company and for 4 days they charged me 650.00. They told me 80 a day for storage but 330.00 hook up fee. Is it that hard to hook up a car ? This is plain robbery. Either that or they split it with the cop who impounded it. Greedy and rude.
We were rear-ended at the entrance of Yosemite and contacted our rental company to send a new car. They dispatched R&S towing to bring a replacement and tow away the damaged vehicle, a 4 hour round trip on a Thursday night! The tech was so prompt, communicative and polite throughout the whole ordeal. He really saved our vacation and made the entire experience less stressful. Slightly annoyed that he refused our tip, but hoping this review coveys our gratitude. Thank you!!!
My first time needing a tow, and I'm grateful R&S was there to help me out. I enjoyed my ride with Nick, and he went above and beyond to make sure I got where I needed to be despite some challenges, and stayed professional and courteous the whole time.
Terrible. Car needed to be towed to Collision center. I wanted it to get there before they closed. I arranged the tow by 2pm. Nobody came. Called at 230 and they “never got the order.” Turns out it was in there email. They simply didn’t check. Then I was placed on a 10 minute hold until I was automatically hung up on. Then the woman at the company felt like they wanted my money so she called back and said they can arrive at 6pm, which defeated the purpose of arranging a tow in the first place. I asked if they can come tomorrow and she said to call my insurance, even though the insurance said it was okay. She then said “I will call them to make sure”, and now, 3 days later, haven’t heard from her.This company is terrible and I recommend using Dave’s Towing in Selma. They came on time the next morning without giving me any grief. Said they will tow me and bill the insurance later, which is what should be done. Way better. If a company tells you “we are busy” as an excuse, find another company. I don’t accept the busy excuse, we are ALL busy. I’m sure EVERY company is great on a slow day. It’s the companies that are great on a busy day that deserve business.Handle crisis well and do your job well. Then you can get my business.
Today, I had the Pleasure of using R&S Towing & they were FANTASTIC!! The Dispatcher, CINDY was GREAT, she called me & updated me on status of my tow & approximate arrival time of driver. MATT (the Driver ) arrived even earlier than Cindy had told me , Matt was EXCELLENT!! Matt was Friendly, Helpful, Super Courteous & Professional. Our insurance company chose them for road side pick up the wait time 3-4 hours we said it’s fine we will wait. We receive a text they 38 min away and 50 min pass by I call them asking what their eta was the guy on the phone just said “we canceled it” and hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional will never recommend them or use their services and put a complain in with my insurance company
I called insurance to get my wife help with her car and a flat tire. Towing was assigned to this towing company...worse experience. Estimated 1-1.5hr... 2hrs later I contacted them they said 2more hours. My response "Don't accept a job if you can not meet demand." No sense of customer service to help a pregnant lady and a 3yr old. Thanks for not helping R & S towing! I called insurance back reassigned to different company 15mins later they are here.
Don't use R&S if they are your first choice.
After my car stopped working on the 41 I contacted my roadside assistance and they dispatched this company. The wait said almost 3 hours and when I called to see if that was the soonest spoke to a nice dispatcher who understood the stressful situation (3 year old in the car) he said we were next on the list and said the driver would contact us. When the driver called he was super nice and asked if we could get a ride for my kiddo because the truck only had room for 2 people which was fine as we were already planning on it but something to note if you have kids in the car. My husband stayed and the driver showed up an hour faster than estimated was super polite and the tow truck was super clean. The driver dropped the car right in our drive way.100% will be using again and will be recommending. Thank you R & S for making a bad situation easy and a little less stressful.
My car turned of while I was driving at school and call dispatcher was very helpful. The guy that came to tow my car was great! He did everything and helps out so much in a stressful situation. I definitely recommend you guys to use the company. They were great with time too I did not wait long at all . 5 stars for the great work and professionalism Customer service was great and worker was friendly. Had my vehicle towed by R&S and these guys were AMAZING! They were early to my car and extremely careful with my vehicle. A HUGE thank you to Nick who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. Will definitely be recommending this company to all of my friends and family!
The towing company was very impressive. My insurance company was dragging its feet. It first approved a tow, then cancelled, then told R & S to wait, and then reapproved, all while R & S waited patiently over a couple of days. R & S then suggested that it pick up my car in the evening so it can tow it first thing in the AM since it was being towed 200 miles. The owner was very cooperative, patient, and professional. Additionally, the owner would return my texts immediately. What a positive experience. You do not see this type of service now a days.
I highly recommend this tow company. They are very professional. They have really nice and clean equipment that made me feel comfortable my car was not going to be loaded on some dirty and old truck. They go over and above to make sure your vehicle is safe and secure. It was super Hot outside and the Driver Eric offered cold water bottles for me and my family. Eric was very polite , and caring. I would definitely recommend this tow company and use for all my future towing needs.
I have to admit when my Insurance dispatched this company from more than an hour away I was not thrilled. I can say however that the driver Jon was fantastic and worth every bit of the wait. He was very pleasant and even engaged my 6 year son in the process which was priceless to me. Overall it was an experience that could have been overwhelming and turned out to be another adventure thanks to his postive attitude and helpful nature!
Our 28 ft motorhome blew a main transmission seal just as we pulled in to the RV park where we were going to be camping for the weekend. My Roadside Assistance plan assigned R&S to the job. I received a confirmation telephone call from driver "John" at R&S. Because our large rig would require a specialty tow, he let us know that he was on another job, and would have to return to his base to get the right truck to come get our RV. He kept me fully informed, and later called to update me that he was on the way. Once he arrived, John was right on top of everything. He was friendly and chatty, and yet didn't miss a beat doing the job while he talked with me. His knowledge and operation of his equipment was very obviously quite good... quick, efficient, double checking everything, everything on point. As he was finishing up, I asked if there was anything else I needed to do paperwork-wise, etc., and he said "Nope.", it was all taken care of with my insurance. He knew right away the location of the truck service shop I'd chosen for the repairs, and got our rig there safely. I'd strongly recommend R&S, and specifically "John", and would use their services again without hesitation.
Eric of R&S was amazing. Not only did he go from Sanger to 30 min past north fork, but he also kept me in the loop the entire trip and checked on me as well. He was professional and on time. I own a classic car and a I have a race car I have a lot of money tied into so I am picky on who I have handling my cars. R&S is ALWAYS my first option!! They are very good and truth worthy. I always tell my insurance I want them to tow my vehicles! They are very good at communicating and friendly guys. I’ve used R&S over 5 times this past year and they have never let me down! Highly reccomend these guys!
