Okay, my car was towed because I ran out of gas at 3am on the off ramp of interstate 41 & Ashlan exit. I was trying to help a friend who was homeless. I'm homeless too but I had a car. Emphasis on (had!) I called my emergency roadside service, Aspire General, it was MLK day & a robotic answering service informed me it was a holiday & I needed to find my own gas! This was the third time Aspire let me down in a serious bind. After three hours of arguing with a damn robot about my 365 days emergency roadside coverage in the contract I left my sleeping passenger in the car and went in pursuit of gas. When I returned, to my great surprise, my car and passenger were both gone! I thought not again! My car was just recovered, I was car jacked a few days before. I searched up & down the interstate hoping to locate my car on the dark highway. I left my hazard lights on so why couldn't I find my car. The CHP waited for me to leave the car with gas can in my hand then kick my friend out even though he told them I went to get gas! They passed me several times and didn't even ask if I was okay! A CHP officer said it was towed & I had to get off the highway. I began crying & pleading for my car. He gave me Ramos Towing #. I called them and they said call back on Tuesday? It was a holiday weekend! I told them it was a holiday when they towed my damn car & that I was on my way with 7$ of gas in a gas can & if they didn't release my car I would burn down the tow yard!! Of course when I arrived three hours later to Golden State between Ashlan & Shaw, a Afro American man with a large rock & a gas can, they called 911! My keys were in my pockets & I was ready to jump the fence and take my damn car back! If I was not homeless & a Caucasian my car would've sat on the highway for at least a friggin week! The cops arrived and I dropped the rock & sat the gas can down before I became a statistic! A black man armed and gunned down trying to regain his own damn property!! Ramos wanted $800.00 to get my car back! I spent my last $7 dollars on gas & didn't have a penny in my pockets! There was much more said between myself, Raul Ramos, & the two Fresno PD officers. I won't bring shame on Fresno PD, but they were not professional at all, they treat the homeless people really bad, I was carjacked a few days before and now the white cop said I deserved to loose my car while the Asian cop kicked over my gas can & threatened to arrest me for trespassing! Ramos, the biggest sleeze of all lied about not having my car after his so called secretary told me the day before I went up there to make a payment plan to get my car that never should of been towed to began with, was still on their lot! Ramos Towing are nothing but a bunch of thieves hiding behind a crooked and bigoted law enforcement team here in Fresno California!! Sincerely! "Where's My Damn Car!"
My car was towed for being parked in front of my house on the street for all of 2 days, wasn’t aware till I returned from out of town. For several days this week, I would call at 8 the lady would say oh so busy wait till afternoon. I explained very clear it’s very hard I work 9:30-5. They request 30 minutes notice before arriving and still get oh no one here so try in afternoon. She would say well we can’t. Then I arrive today and says oh driver left. I said well everyday is more and more. She put in on hold said oh owner is coming 15 minutes but it’s ok you won’t be charged extra! WTH !?! I’m going to look into the legal part of the towing guidelines because it’s posted impound pick ups are 8-5.
Driver almost hit me and two other people within 5 minutes on the highway. Mf merging without looking only. Wouldn’t trust my car with that reckless driving
