ELECTRICIANS STAY AWAY! Do not bring your copper here. Paid out .60 cents per pound on insulated #10. I did a test run and came here with a 5 gallon bucket packed full because they would not give copper prices over the phone. This place is for casual CRV returns and Tweakers. They do not give fair prices for metal recyclables. 3 day hold for a $25 pay out is BS. Thats with Elec license too! TAKE YOUR COPPER ELSEWHERE.
We have gone to this place for years, and they have always been great. I don't know what happened all of a sudden, but today we came in with at least 50-60 pounds of aluminum cans, and a couple pounds of plastic bottles. We were given $23. The sign says it's over a dollar per pound for cans. We tried to mention it, but were pretty much brushed off.
Bernard is the BEST employee. There were three lines for recycling.Two lines had a team of two working the lines and Bernard was working alone. Bernard's line was moving faster than the other lines. Please recognize him for being a great employee!
Honestly I never have had a issue here. Been coming here for years. Sometimes their backed up and sometimes it's fast. Depends on time of day. Will continue to come here as well.
My favorite place to sell my cans, I love to go on tuesdays staff are always nice and very fast. From time to time lines get a little busy but normal as usuall .
I've been looking for a place to take my cardboard and their phone playback voice message says that they accept cardboard. Once an associate answered, this extremely rude lady said that they don't and that I needed to take it up with the state to fix their playback voice message. I have no idea what this lady's problem is but I'm sure she's repelling everyone that tries to call.
Advertise you close at the correct time so you don’t have to pretend to not hear a female asking you a question while letting someone out of the gate. It’s not 5 yet the gates r closed and you handle it like a coward
im sadden they don't collect everything they used too and toss to a trash can. They were a bit fast and seemed as if they don't want you too see how much the weight is as if they don't want to pay. pit of ages it eemed as if the amount given was by far less than decaeed ago when the rates are higher now as compared to back than.
Rudest workers ever!! I expected they would be helpful for someone who has never done this before but the guy who does the bottles sorting was very rude and wasn't helpful & expected me to know where to go and what to do!! however only the cashier was polite. It was my first and last recycling experience and it wasn't worth the trip.
They do not open at 7am. The sign on the door as well as online shows that as the time, but i arrived at 6:57 and they did not open until 7:30. Just a heads up for any early birds. Once they opened, they were very quick.
Always have the highest paid prices for cans daily guaranteed!!! A lil busy and hectic at times but well worth the pay out.. Only recycling place in the valley open 7 days a week...
Place can be packed at times should go early to be the rush coupons are available in newspaper . Took cans in the other day made 150$ in just aluminum . Separate your recyclables before you go save yours and others people's time . Make sure you wear shoes not sandles like I seen. (Caution ) GLASS WILL BE ON FLOOR last updated 2/20/2023
This was a bad idea and a wast of my time . It took 45 mins. From start to finish . The heat the smell and who to say that they even gave me accurate wieght amount they give you a coin that holds the value of your rec. Take it a window to clerk and she gives you the cash . Now I realize that I'll be looking for something else that will take up my time . Clean up and find better staff . I won't be back again.
THEY DO NOT TAKE BOTTLES. The Asian guys were really nice and understanding about it, since we didn’t know. We apologized about it. There was a white guy that was extremely upset and rude about it. I get it , it’s hot. Just don’t be a jerk if first timers come in with bottles. Props to the two awesome Asian guys. Make sure to also sort out the cans and bottles properly. It’ll help speed things up.
Literally don’t go here it’ll just rip you off. I went to this place with 9 bags at other places thats at least more than 60$ but instead of of getting those 60$ they have me 5$ for all of those bags. Such a company is outrages! And to talk about their building, it goes as beyond such as health hazards flies everywhere and the conditions is just not safe. And they were taking things out of my cart the belonged in their. So if you are trying to recycle, I suggest going somewhere else.
I took my gas mower here to be recycled when I purchased an electric one as part of a rebate. The process was easy and the staff was helpful. I had some difficulty communicating with the cashier through the plexiglass window as the speaker wasn't very loud and masks caused a muffled response. All in all my experience was fine.
Best deal here!! This is the 1st time ever of not having to wait in line LoL! Very empty only 2 other people here. But majority of the time there is a line. 1.65 for aluminum today(9:40am,Nov18,2020)
It's been a while since I've been here to recycle came back and saw new updates and a nicely done paint job. I believe they paid fairly for what you bring in. The workers are always friendly and for those who don't look friendly are just annoyed at the people who don't really organize their cycling before coming in.
It has a new management and the new management told the workers if the plastic is not sorted then even disabled people must stand or sit in their wheelchairs in the hot sun and sort it but its not on their website and so i set out there for 1 and half hours trying to sort this stuff with my 89 year old husband and my favorite guy that works there saw that i started to have chest pains figure he better help us so he took the plastic we sorted and the bags we didn't sort yet in side and had 5 workers help get it done so we could get out of there and in the cold car. And i would like to thank them again for helping me and my husband cause normally they would sort it for me but because of the new management telling them that they can't help people sort it NO EVEN THE DISABLED LIKE ME I FILL BAD FOR THOSE WORKERS
I guess it's really that hard to separate your cans from plastic before you bring them down. You could sure tell that the man working was extremely irritated at this 1 customer who had a lot of bags with it all mixed together. It didn't help that it was after 4 & the guy really just wanted to go home. My hat is off to this man who never said a bad thing & just kept on doing his job.
This place is good and fast. The only thing they need is a public sink to wash up after the sale and this is why not the 5 star rating. People complain about the hours. They indeed close at 4 pm so dont be late. It would be nice if they would stay open til 5 pm at least.
Horrible place showed up at 4:17 on a Saturday . Gates where closed! On line hours say open till 5:30pm Saturday's. So quick lying to your customers if you really close an hour and a half early! Employee at front gate just kept pointing at a sign saying "it says right there" I will take my business elsewhere.
To all the recycling junkies out there, here's a location you might want to visit. ReCyCo of Fresno has been a place I've been visiting since the age of 14, I'm 21 now, not living in Fresno anymore but when I get the chance to visit, I'm selling my cans here.
The employees over the past years have definitely changed up and the scene of happy recycling has changed a bit, nevertheless the business running standards are still the same.
Reason for the three star review of this place was due to some unfortunate circumstances I've received with previous employees.
Overall, want to recycle your bottles, cans, cardboards, aluminum, lays potato chip stax's bottles? You got the place! Just recently they implemented the system of putting our recycled into large bins before weighing, definitely takes up more time but there are great employees who are willing to help you out. Which is greatly appreciated. Oh and try to come early, I find that's when the lines are short and DO NOT come after a busy holiday (i.e the day after July 4) you'll regret it. :-)
Been here several times. Overall they a good service and pay high for recycling material...But, as it gets closer to closing time, staff get very rude, and wait time from time of weighing to get paid at window gets ridiculous. Staff holds on to tickets, then turn in for payments about every 8-12 people, which is ridiculous. They may be open till 530, BUT stop letting anyone drive into business at exactly 500.....
I pulled up to closed and locked gates at 5:05. There was a worker standing at the gate locking it, 2 homeless guys out front trying to get in, they claim to be open until 5:30 but they close and lock the gates at 5. I was extremely irritated, i drove all the way across town thinking i had a half hour left . What kind of business closes 30 minutes before they close. I requested an edit, this place closes at 5 on the dot. I dont care what they claim to be their hours, if you arrive after 5 they will not let you in. That means they are closed.
