Contrary to what people say the price is really are good and also their weights are very accurate. Any problems might lie in the discrepancy of what grade you're being given for your material and if you separated it properly. The only unhappiness I have is with an employee named Ruben otherwise everybody else that works there is extremely helpful especially the two cashiers Valerie and Terry
Alex one of the workers was a good worker with all the info I needed to process the items I was recycling. The flags hanging up in the building were awesome as well. Good to see some American pride

I can understand when an establishment is busy. However, just because I am not knowledgeable about how the process goes, doesn’t give anyone a right to belittle me.

This place is ridiculous. Don't go there. Don't try. You will be confused, frustrated, and apprehensive all at the same time. There's no direction/guidance. There's nowhere to park a trailer, which baffles me. It's a madhouse. Everyone just looks lost. If you can find a place to park in the tiny, undersized, ridiculously laid out parking lot...then you get to dodge/duck/dive forklifts and cars and people wandering everywhere in hopes of finding a cart to offload your stuff onto and drag that thing into the building yourself. This place is not set up to handle regular old Joe Schmo's tralier load of scrap metal that comes of your property. I feel like I wasted an hour of my life trying to get rid of my junk metal here. Maybe the commercial dudes got something goin on here that keeps them coming back, but as for regular dudes like me who don't frequent the scrapyard scene...this place is a nightmare and a no go.

The staff was very helpful, and they take care of their customers. They have a forklift to assist you if you have heavy bulk metals. Prices are competitive and go up and down according to commodity metal prices changes. They pay fare prices for your recyclables.
Great place to take in recycling. They take all plastics and a variety of metals. Just make sure you come early and have your ID they stay very busy. Limited amount of parking.

Never going here again. I took in a very big barrel of SMASHED cans and SMASHED bottles and was given $30. I get MORE everywhere else I don't know why i even took the money I should have walked away!!
I have been coming here for longer than I care to remember. Not in a bad way, I'm just being disgruntled about my age. Don is a very fair and decent man. They are always helpful. Most of the time I do not even have to get my items out from my vehicle, they do if for me. I'll tell you what, if you think they're prices don't pay enough,.. you are sadly mistaken. The prices they layout are pretty good in comparison. For convenience and less work for myself, I will gladly take a few cents off the dollar and tip them as well. So I would just like to say thank you to all the guys. That have helped me over the years to deal with all my dirty stuff period just because you have morals and manners.
That's what the world is lacking period but you can find every type of morals and Manners. Right here, no need to go anywhere else to waste of time and waste of gas. Unless you've got it like that. Anyways have a great day, chin up.g
This place isn't for the upscale recycling "Karens" in our population...this place is for the people looking to recycle as much as possible and getting top reimbursement as possible. Very friendly staff. Not great parking. Great polite people work here. Not a great location so lock your doors.
From the gal at the counter I believe her name is Terry to Don Richard Keith Rubin Scotty and so on and so forth and so forth everything is great service is great places clean and you can't beat the prices Shepherd and metal or iron we can't get everything you want I live way out here in Riverdale and I should speak volumes of the places did I drive all that way when you're a scrap yards in between and all around skee is my first choice! And above all else, skees plays some badass music.

The people here are very helpful, friendly and professional. They know what they are doing, and very honest about it.
Doesn't matter if you get a few cents extra somewhere else, for the comfort and service, this is the place to go.
Have been going there several times a week for over a year now. The owner is great and you will always see him out working side by side with his staff. They pay really well for copper, brass and aluminum. Not so great for iron or tin. They are a smaller family run business and not really set up to take in LG amounts of metal. This is one of the things I like the most about them though. It makes it a more personable experience. I like seeing the same faces there every week and most of the employees are pretty cool and willing to help you if you need it. They close their gates about an hr before actual closing time so I recommend getting there by 2:30 or 3:00 during the week and 11:30 or 12:00 on weekends.
Don't go here unless you like being ripped off. Recyco is way better, even though the lines are longer. At least you don't get ripped off. Also some of the workers are friendly and some are just incredibly rude. I wish Google had a zero star rating, because this place deserves it!
Didn’t know how much I was getting ripped off at A&S and other places until I came here. Made me very upset at first. Such a price difference on copper part of me even feels that the other places ripped me off on purpose but anyways so happy to find this place! They take care of you and have great prices. I’m coming here from now on!
If you look at all the bad reviews it’s of them stealing from people. These people will steal and cheat your money.
Place is an absolute theft. I called before going in and lady told me on the phone that the price for aluminum is 1.80 so I went in. Had 98 pounds of aluminum and she only gave us 110.20
And they will not give you a receipt. If you put your cans in the medal bin brought on by the forklift then you will not see them weight your recycles. They could give you any number. Make sure you put it in the blue plastic barrels and watch them weigh it.
It was so pity that they would cheat people that I didn’t even want to argue.cashier Lady in the front has a horrible attitude. First time and definitely last time.
I forgot how fabulous this recycling center is! I believe no matter where you live in Fresno finding your way Skee's, located near Maple and Olive Avenues is totally worth the drive. This recycling center is quaint, which is perfect for me since I usually only have a small amount of recyclables. But, of course, they can accommodate those folks with large quantities as well. I was VERY happy that I didn't HAVE to put my cans, bottles, & glass in the typical cans provided by the centers. Friendly service from the gentleman who weighs the items to the lovely lady who takes the receipt and doles out the . I left with a smile on my face. Thank you Skee's!!

Respectful customer service, however... I was short changed for what I brought in... they did not weigh all my recyclables in front of me and when I asked about it I was told "don't worry we'll take care of you"... the weigh on the slip was half of what I typically see... being there was a HUGE line of ppl, I opted to call and speak to a MGR about the situation, he called the employee on the phone who helped me... he apologized for the situation but said it was another employee who had weighed the first batch of my items, and basically passed the buck...all in all I would NOT recommend anyone doing business here
I liked feeling welcome due to staff being so attentive and polite. I really appreciated their kindness a lot that day. Good timing plus good staff making that company happen. God bless you all. Amen
I'm disabled, and within seconds of my arrival an employee named Don approached me and escorted me to my car, where he unloaded the contents of my cargo, weighed them, and off I went. The process took less than 15 minutes from start to finish. And in this blistering Fresno heat, that was godsend. I can't speak for the exchange rate of the materials I sold, but for me, the true value is in the quality of service. And Skee's delivered in exemplary fashion. Thank you, Don. Much obliged.
