These guys are great! Family run business. I had a tough EVAP code and check engine light on that they were able to diagnose and get me back on the road same day. They were thorough and explained everything to me. Really went above and beyond with the diagnosis and fix and they even took it to get smogged. Very fair pricing. I will definitely come back to Nick and his family in the future.
We were on a driving vacation in our campervan and it developed a starting problem where it wouldn't start at all. Nick and his two mechanics came out to diagnose and possibly repair the problem, and figured out that it was a starter wire that was pulling out of the starter. They got us back on the road right away, with an understanding of what needed to happen at my shop back home for a long term correction. I liked it that I didn't have to try to make appointments with local shops and get a tow and possibly wait for days; the whole thing was solved where we were stopped. Very impressed with their skill and professionalism, and that my issue got solved right away. Woul definitely use them again if broken down in the Fresno area.
Had a pre purchase vehicle inspection done by them as a buyer for a personal vehicle, came to find out a few days later after purchasing car that there was very little coolant in the system, so they either missed a leak or didn’t check the fluids. Bad pre purchase inspection.
Edit 1/28/26, for all future customers, look at their response. defensive responses across the board / different reviews show they can do no wrong. As for the inspection, by getting under the car and visually inspecting, you guys would have saw there was a leak through the weep hole of the water pump and saw the dried up coolant and the oil pan having build up and darker coloring from the seepage of coolant. And I clearly stated “I don’t know how to drive stick shift but I will find out on my own.” Never asked you to show me how to drive stick And it wasn’t even an S10, completely wrong customer. Wish you guys the best bro.
As a handy man I went through countless Youtube videos and car forums to try and diagnose my 1996 Honda Civic's electrical issues. There wasn't anything else I could do for my car and no mechanics wanted to work any further on my progress. I called Nick's Mobile Auto Repair and the team drove 45 minutes to help with my issue. After a quick visit to their shop the family owned and operated team got my old lady running again. I'm still in disbelief! I thought I was going to have to pull out a car loan for a new used car. I've let my family and friends know about their work and what future projects they can help me with. 10/10 would recommend Nick's Mobile Auto Repair!
Great experience, our suv alternator went out. Very quick with responding. Price was very affordable. Very good family environment, they stayed up late to accommodate us, need car to take kids to school in AM, Very professional, will definitely use the again, highly recommended.
We had a 2002 Toyota Avalon towed to Nick's on a Sunfay. He and his Dad went above and beyond to get the parts and get the vehicle back on the road. They have a great team and I will definitely go back.
My van went into limp mode just outside of kings canyon. He helped me get a tow truck late on a sunday and stayed at the shop late to do some initial diagnosis. He was reponsive, fast and helpful. Highly reccomend.
They did an amazing job fixing up our Kia Rio after it was broken into. We've already been going through a tough time, and they were so kind and understanding. 10/10 would recommend!
