Got the job done. Replaced alternator but was turned off by the initial quote of “$490 or $590” and then increasing to $670 when I got there. Appreciated the fast service, otherwise I would have been without a car.

your mechanics changed my mass airflow sensor and charged me around 600 to have this done. this was to remove the gas lean code that kept reappearing. i brough back 3 times and it was not resolved.
at the end, you didn't know what the issue was so i took it to another mechanic, which they found the issue to be the mass airflow you installed.
Not only did I spend a significant amount of money, but I also lost significant time and confidence in the service provided.
I know you are capitalizing and taking advantage of the good reviews you have.
My car failed while driving, the shop i normally go to has closed permanently. The tow person referred me to Charlie's. While the damage to my car was severe (electrical short that destroyed 3 parts, one of which i replaced recently), he was able to diagnose it quickly and repair it as fast as the parts came in. He didn't charge me for one part and worked with me on picking up my car once it was finished. Since my usual shop is closed and I was treated so well, I will come back and referr this shop to everyone I know. Thank you for helping me get back on the road.
Tow truck dropped my truck off Friday afternoon and Charlie's had it ready for me to pick-up Monday morning. Truck runs like new again and the work is guaranteed for a year.
First time customer here. New to the area and was recommended by a 20 year customer that sends his daughters here. Very quick service, fixed what they fix and recommended me a shop in the area for a specialized issue. They even saw my packaged front and rear wiper blades on my passenger seat and threw those on for me. Such a kind and appreciated gesture. I have been meaning to do that for weeks now lol! Charlie was no nonsense, straight to the point. I told him what I needed done and he gave me a time and fair estimate. Unfortunately, what needed to be done is a dealer issue. He told me he could do it, but it would cost $800. Then he told me to take it to the dealer because it's under warranty. He didn't have to tell me that. That was my first time there, so I'm not even a regular. He's just honest, and he didn't talk down to me because i was a woman, which was a nice change. The hours suck because he opens and closes so early (4am-2pm) but I I will definitely go back.
LOOK OUT FOR THESE GUYS!! Took my F350 in for AC diagnostic, it was blowing warm air. Charlie automotive said it was a bad o-ring showed me where it was leaking and charged me 183.00. AC was good for about a week. Then started blowing warm again. When I looked it was leaking from the same spot. Took it in today at 0530 to have look at it. 3hrs later they called With a 590.00 estimate. Said it wasn't the o-ring but the connection for the o-ring could be bad. But they didn't even take it apart to check the o-ring. (See before and after pictures) So basically 180.00 for nothing! I didn't have them complete the repair because I was afraid this diagnostic might be incorrect as well!! First impressions mean a lot to me and to do this?? I will not be returning.
I’m so glad I went here. Charlie and his son were honest, quick, and efficient. I appreciated being charged only for the completed work (at very fair prices)—no diagnostic fee! Their service and integrity impressed me so much that my boyfriend also had his car fixed here and had a positive experience. If we face any more car issues, we'll definitely return to Charlie's Automotive.
Came in once, AC fan wouldn’t kick on.. couldn’t figure it out. Got there 6 am came back 3 PM mech told me switch was just upside down or something? No charge! Honesty is the ONLY policy with mechanics, and if he stays this honest the only dishonesty he is doing is not mentoring somebody else to be as good as him to spread the wisdom and knowledge Thanks!
I can't say enough good things about Charlie's Automotive. Charlie is fair and honest, and won't encourage you to do something that doesn't need to be done. The mechanics are fast and friendly.

I've had a lot of car. And plenty of problems with them along the way. Every mechanical ever been to disappoint me. But not Charlie....He was awesome. Fixed my car. It's running like a champ....I recommend him to all friends and family.
Charlie is honest, he has worked on minor maintenance repairs on my 22 year old car multiple times and has always completed the work quickly. Last time I thought I'd need a new starter or alternator but it was just the cables. Cost me way less than I thought mostly because of his honesty and integrity.
Charlie was very effective at fixing my car at a good price when my catalytic converter was stolen. I was even given a ride to the shop because I was going to pick my car up by bus. Charlie offered a ride since I live nearby.
