I highly recommend all valley transmission and auto repair. I was referred to them by another mechanic for transmission work, but the problem ended up being with the engine, they diagnosed it, fixed it, noticed my serpentine belt was cracking and recommended replacing it. They did everything at a fair price, the truck runs like new now.
I've always had a great experience here. I feel they are fair and do a great job being thorough. As a single woman, it can be hard to find a mechanic that I can trust isn't trying to take advantage of me or trying to exploit my ignorance. I've NEVER felt anything but honesty from them. Great team, great people, great prices.
The ONLY thing I wish (and I believe this is the case for many mechanics) is that I often have to leave my car overnight for a day or two... and it's hard not to have a car in Fresno, especially as a single mom. I wish they either had loaner cars or finished with mine in a day. But, I'm sure it depends on what you're bringing your car in for! In any case, I don't feel this detracts from the quality of their work and their great communication with me. I recommend them 100%. (My friend referred them to me and I'm so glad she did!)
This is a well run and well trained friendly Christian auto mechanic business who complete their work for a fair price. They will tell you when they can start working on your vehicle and about when it will be completed without any unforeseen issues. When they find issues, they will consult you about how to fix it and at what cost.
This was my first time taking a vehicle to a mechanic, no one within a 60 mile radius would take my car except for these guys. These people showed honesty, dedication, and trustworthiness. Which is very difficult to find these days. I brought the car in for a diagnostics test and after it was all set and done they speculated that the issue was a computer problem or the CAS sensor. But there wasn't enough data to generate a official conclusion, so instead of them throwing parts at it, ringing up the bill, and hoping it works. They instead stopped, gave me the truth, gave me advice, and sent me on my way. I can 100% testify to these peoples trustworthiness and dedication to there craft.
They were recommended to me by a friend, & I’m grateful. I’d had an unpleasant experience with a local car dealer for repairs & I’m so glad I found All Valley. It’s a busy service because they’re popular & clearly have many loyal customers. Now I see why. They gave me a reasonable quote & did the repairs quickly & efficiently.
That sounds like what any mechanic should do, but it has not been my experience recently & having a trustworthy, reliable mechanic to go to is invaluable.

Guy does outstanding work and is honest, hard to beat. Yes, transmission repairs are costly, but when you have to spend such a high amount you want to know that the person you are dealing with is honest and willing to back their work. I highly recommend this place.
My 2013 Fiat 500 sat in our garage while out of town for 3 months and wouldn't start when I got home. We towed it to a shop in Clovis and paid for an estimate. We were told the timing belt snapped and my rods were bent. Cost would be well over $5000 to fix, more than the car is worth, so towed it home. We were going to scrap the car, but a family member recommended Jacob at All Valley. They researched the possible issues, turns out my timing belt and rods were just fine. The issue was something in relations to Fiats sitting for long periods of time. They had her running great for less than a 10th of what I was originally quoted from the 1st shop. I am so grateful for Jacob's honesty. I will only be going to All Valley Automotive from now on!

Took my Dodge avenger in with a bad throttle body positioning sensor. The company called me a couple times before doing any repairs and fixed the issue in a timely manner. A few months later they sensor went out again likely due to a faulty part. Even though they were obviously busy they fixed the issue within a business day and charged me nothing for this second visit, honoring their warranty policy. I would definitely recommend their services.
The owners, Steve and Jacob, diagnosed and resolved my problems with my 28 year old pickup truck. The "fix" stayed fixed! They are resourceful for any specialized work that needed to be done. The costs are reasonable and the work is completed efficiently. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere in the shop and the coffee is good!
Shawn was able to help me out with an nv4500 GM to Dodge main shaft swap for my Cummins. He was very knowledgeable about what the trans needed and thorough with the uniqueness of my particular model. He did this as a bench job when no one else wanted to deal with my bring-in parts. Great communication when extra parts were needed, and still had the job done sooner than expected. This felt like good old fashioned work, not just error code fixing. If there’s anything else I need as far as transmissions go, I’ll be back. Thank you again Shawn.
Steve & Jacob are great guys. Took my BMW into the shop for work. Instead of just performing the work requested, they went above & beyond expectations & recommended a possible cheaper solution first. Then, requested that I follow up with them a few days later in case the issue came back or wasn't solved. Followed up with information & were super helpful. Recommended strongly, you won't be disappointed!
When they told me that my oil cooler was cracked and that a new OEM cooler alone was $600, we worked through finding a cheaper replacement. Overall, fantastic service, with new cooler, air filter, and synthetic oil change, it ran about $430, pretty good compared to other places.
I had just taken my van to another garage and they wanted to do a ton of work on it but couldn't claim any of the suggestions were causing the noise I brought it in for. I promptly took it to All Valley and it was easily diagnosed with a specific problem. They took very good care of me. Very conscientious. I trusted them with my vehicle and they solved the problem. I know nothing about transmissions. So when the guy who changes my oil says I have a transmission leak, all I know is that I hear transmission and I’m probably going to pay a lot. Wow, where to start. I’ve never felt the need to review a business in my life until now, that’s how poor this experience was. Blows my mind that there’s nothing but 5 star reviews, I guess I was clearly a customer of low importance. I suppose I’ll start with the fact that they quoted me about 3 different estimates, and 4 different ETA’s as to when my car would be completed over a TWO WEEK span. Two weeks for four hours of labor. In those two weeks I only received two phone calls as to the status and estimated completion time on my car. I had to call them myself multiple times to get any information whatsoever, and every time, “Oh it’ll be ready tomorrow”, and it never was. I walk into the office today to pick up my car and begin to tell him why I’m unhappy and I was literally met with, “I don’t care, we’re not gonna talk about this” from Steve himself. For someone who had previously been so friendly in the beginning, I was bewildered. I have never seen an owner so indifferent and nonchalant towards a customer’s satisfaction; must have a cozy clientele. Lackadaisical and wildly unprofessional through and through, do not bring your car here if you want it back within any reasonable amount of time.
Hello, My name is Terry Muir and I am posting this review with my Aunts name. I took my Ford F150 in and was told it was my transmission and that it needed to be rebuilt. All Valley Transmission gave me a quote which was very reasonable. I took it in on a Friday and they did a wonderful job of getting it finished by the time they said it would be done. Honest fast and quality work from my experience.I do a Lot of my own work when it comes to my truck and when I get to a job I can't do I take it to Shawn and Steve.The whole crew has the certifications to get the job done. They do it right the first time so I don't have to have it done again and again spending way more money then I want to spend. I have been there a few times and this last time I came from Oackhurst to have work done in an out. My Dad decided to drop his truck off as well while I was there. Great group of men.

I was fully informed of what my vehicle needed, and if I chose to have the repairs within 60 days, the cost of the evaluation would be deducted from the total price. Nice! The work was done according to schedule, and the price was lower than quoted. The repairs were effective.
