Complete trash. If you can get through to talk with anyone and not be hung up on. I called Thursday paid for a gas tank I was told it would be ready by noon Friday. I show up and it’s not ready. He tries to call the guy pulling the part from another yard 45min away. Can’t get through. Tells me he the guy pulling the part is old and slow. Then says he can have it delivered to me. I luv ran hour away so I agree.I call at 4 to see if there is an update. I’m told the driver was heading to Sacramento. But didn’t know when the driver was going. So he would call me….. no cal so I call back an hour later. Then the driver calls me and says he can’t deliver today. He says I can deliver tomorrow. I ask what time. “I don’t know” then tells me maybe about 12pm well I made the decision that that was probably a lie like the rest of all the stuff that came out of there mouths. So I said keep the gas tank. After ready these horrible reviews I kick myself in the rear for even giving them a chance.

Total garbage business.Had me drive up with the price quote, and when I got there, they doubled the price. I said, no, thank you. Thank you for wasting my time and the drive to Come Up here. Then asked me to stay for a second to try to work a deal. Totally ignored me for 20 minutes while they answered phones. As I stood there, then came up to reduce it by 10 bucks total bait and switch outfit. Don't waste your time

As a mechanic by trade who started as a parts puller at a salvage yard, and based on these negative reviews, as well as my attempts to contact their front counter by phone:
I can say these guys might be ok if your are dealing with them in person. But for the Love of God, Don't waste your time or money trying to get parts shipped from them. I knew by a few phone calls of attempting to contact their front counter, they'll take your money and never send you your part, and probably never give you your money back. As a Mobile Mechanic a couple states away, I don't have time to deal with that bullshit. I feel bad for anyone who has ever given these guys money over the phone expecting their parts to ship.
They need to stop claiming to ship parts nationwide because they clearly don't have the coverage, staff, or infrastructure to do so, let alone process a refund or update their inventory.
Either by hook or by crook, this outfit lacks follow-through, can not manage their phones, and should not be listed on car-part's network as a valid supplier.
10/10 would not recommend unless you can visit these people in person and physically supervise them pulling the part you need.Nov 21, 2025 -
Do not shop there. They took my money and didn't give me my part. They are liars, dishonest people thieves. I will take them to court report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Such a disrespectful customer service the guy keeps putting me on hold and because I I asked him to make sure the part it has a certain feature he put me on hold for 38 minutes until 5pm the time they closed and I know for sure he did it on purpose and stayed on line to make sure. So disappointed they could have have a good customer since I’m a shop and I order regularly.

The family atmosphere at this place is really something special. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and genuinely wanted to help me find what I needed. They've been in business for years, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Called before hand to get confirmation they had what part I was looking for and a price. So after getting hung up on twice I was ready to give up on trying to support local business. But someone called me back like 30 min later and I was told a price and that they do have my part. So I said great ill be down shortly assuming I would give them time to pull my part. It would take a 85 yr old woman with severe arthritis 15 min tops to pull!!! So with ample time for them to get my part I headed to bonanza only to be told that they didn't talk with anyone and not only was that frustrating the price the guy in the office said was 3 time what i had been told. I don't like wasting mine or anyone else's time and to straight up tell me that no one called just two hours prior was very telling the way your company is ran. What other Bonanza could I possibly of spoken to??? Maybe I called 1960 and it was Little Joe or possibly Hop Sing

Bob assisted me with locating fuel system parts for my classic Ford, and every component was in excellent working condition. The parts were affordable, good looking, and came with warranty coverage that shows their commitment to quality. Their expertise in older vehicles is truly impressive.

Ordered a PCM based off their listing on car-part.com and their part # they had listed for the PCM was not what they sent. The last 2 letters were incorrect, therefore not fitting the vehicle I needed it for. I called to have them locate a replacement computer and they have been giving me the run around. I have waited on hold for over 4 hours over the course of a week to continuously to be told, "they are checking the warehouse", "They are verifying the part number etc" I was told multiple times that I would get a call back and I have not. I am always needing to call them and wait on hold. Customer service is horrible, stay clear!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Bonanza Auto Dismantlers. I am writing to share my experience and strongly advise others to avoid this business. On August 14, 2025, our employees ordered a part at Bonanza Auto Dismantlers, with a clear agreement that it would be ready by Friday, August 15, 2025. We paid $1,550.50 upfront, relying on their promise to meet this deadline due to the urgency of our needs.
However, Bonanza Auto Dismantlers never contacted us to notify us of any delay. We only discovered the delay when we arrived on Friday expecting the part to be ready. Since then, they have been ignoring our attempts to contact them and our requests for the refund we are rightfully owed. Because they failed to complete the service as promised, we had to seek an alternative service provider immediately. We requested a cancellation and a full refund, which they have denied. Since the service was never performed, retaining any portion of the payment is unjust.
We chose Bonanza Auto Dismantlers initially because they promised the service could be completed within our required timeframe. Their failure to honor their commitments, lack of communication, and deceptive business practices have caused significant inconvenience and financial loss. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Long hold times, often hung up on, and nothing but different stories every time I call. First they said they had my part and were quick to take my money, but then the excuses started—shipping delays, stock issues, and now I’m not even sure the part exists. After reading more reviews, it’s clear the positive ones look fake, while the real 1-star reviews all describe the same problems I’ve had. Dishonest and frustrating experience, save yourself the headache.

Excellent customer service from the first hello. Bob was able to tell me right off the bat that he a part was available. That means he knows the inventory. I was very pleased with his ability to send the part in a reasonable of time. So far l am very very happy. ~D

Absolutely one of the craziest and weirdest places I’ve been. Cars stacked on top of each other, abandoned school buses, excavators, etc! It’s like “death row” for vehicles

Very friendly staff. I called looking for a rim to replace on my car, so they requested to call me back once they verified they had what I needed in stock. Within less than an hour, I got a callback, purchased, and picked up my rim after work. Good Job Bonanza and thank you!!

I placed an order, and they said I was available. Paid for the part and then waited several hours for them to find it. Finally, someone said they were mistaken, but a matching car was arriving the next day. They said they would prioritize pulling the part and would call the next day. Reluctantly agreed. Several days passed, and there was no call or part. I called back to ask for a refund, and they would only take a message, and sometimes would call back. No refund. Never called almost a month later and had to file with my CCC.

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I placed an order for an interior trim panel over two weeks ago, and to this day, the part still hasn't been shipped.
I’ve called daily, and every time I get the same generic response: “Please wait until the end of the day” or “We’ll ship it tomorrow.” Tomorrow never comes.
I've spoken to multiple sales reps, including Leo, Josh, and several others — but not a single one has been helpful. Each call ends the same way: I’m put on hold for 15 to 20 minutes, only to be told to wait again. It's a complete waste of time.
I’m writing this review so others don’t go through the same frustrating and disappointing experience I’ve had. Two weeks wasted, and still no solution. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable.May 29, 2025 -
Beware. If they have the part you're looking for and all of a sudden have another option with less miles, they don't. They'll send you bad parts. They know it'll cost too much to ship for the return to be worth it. I called for a $400 trans, they "just got another one with less miles and haven't posted it for sale yet". So i got a "better" $600 one. I had it shipped for close to what the part cost, paid to have it swapped in my vehicle. It failed within 10hrs of use. The only way they'll help me is if I had a photo of the original trans next to the one they sent. And then paid to ship out to their facility to be inspected and determine if I swapped the guts w/ the bad trans. Then, they would find a comparable used part that I could pay to ship again. Meaning i bought a part, shipped it, paid for it to be put in, and now taken out, and I'm at square one, less $2000.

If you want to get scammed then buy some these people. I offered a 95 miata airbag and they gave me a 99 airbag that doesn't fit. Keep in mind that they told me it was a 95 airbag so they lied straight to my face. After 2 months of calling, they failed to find a replacement and would not refund my money. Their customer service sucks as well. They're immature and scammers. I was told by an employee named Josh "I want a million dollars but we all can't get what we want" after asking for a refund since they could not find me the right part. I tried asking for the owner on multiple occasions and I kept hearing excuses on why I could not talk to him. I even had an employee named Josh claim to be the owner after having me on hold for 30 minutes. These guys are unprofessional and will scam you. Do not come here, please listen to the reviews.

We ordered what we were told was a rim and tire. We were quoted separately for both parts plus shipping for both parts. We paid for both parts and shipping, and were told we would get tracking details, but never did. We tried calling for details and nobody ever answers the phone, or they do, and leave you on hold.
When we received the order, all they sent was the rim! No tire! We paid for both because we needed both. Once again, tried to call them to find out what happened and when we finally got a human they said that price and shipping was JUST for the rim. That was not what we were told. Then they said they'd look into it an get back to us.
When I called back again, they said they'd refund us for the tire, but not the shipping. I have never seen the refund.
This business could be great, but they have horrible management and customer skills. We won't be doing business with them again... unless we finally get our refund...Nov 25, 2024 -
Terrible service. I paid them and now they won’t take my call. They promised a tracking number and never provided it. My parts were supposed to be here a week ago. I’ve spent hours calling them. Now I need to dispute the charge. This is a total time suck and not worth it. Find your parts somewhere else.

I'm so upset. Constant communication. I needed the knuckle for my truck. $125? I got a freakin' hub wrapped in a beer box. Called over & over again! Very rude attitude! I got charged for the hub they sent me by "mistake", but gaslighted me & told me that's what I ordered. Pretty sure knuckle & hub are not phonetically similar. Whatever. He said I have to send it back & pay for shipping... and had to nerve to ask me how long I've been in business. Long enough to know if you messed up, you correct your mistake. YOU messed up. Then you charge me ANOTHER $125 for the part I actually needed?!?! Don't have the part I needed & stuck with a part I didn't need & a $250 charge for literally NOTHING. Got charged for 2 parts, one never recieved, one wrong. You're going to black balled. I never write reviews, but this is absolutely despicable.

I tried to work with these guys i order a part on September 9th. when i paid for it they said it was all good then they called me back and asked a bit more for shipping witch was fine. when I called to ask for a tracking number they told me they would call me later but I would never get the phone call. I gave them a call Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and would answer they either put me on hold or hang up on me. WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

I have been a shop owner for 20+ years. I have never had such a hard time ordering a part for my customers until dealing with these folks at this business. It has been 3 weeks and many stories trying to get a wheel hub sent to me. Scott has given me 2 tracking numbers on 2 different tries and neither were a real tracking number. They do not return calls and every time I called back it was a different excuse or story. Not sure how they stay in business doing it this way. Not sure how they are in person, but over the telephone and shipping orders they stink to high heaven. I do not recommend using their service.. BUYER BEWARE! If I had read the reviews prior to ordering I would have heed the warning and moved on to another solution for the part I needed. Customer service is not top priority to these folks. Taking your money is. Shame on you at Bonanza Auto Dismantlers. BUYER BEWARE!

If I could give this place a lower rating I would, I called and asked for a lower manifold for a 5.8 ford van they sent me a 5.0. I called back asking if they had the correct one and explained I was a repair shop and needed this part right away and I will drive up and pick up the part. I talked to several people including Scott and Charles both of them kept giving me the run around and telling me we will call you back in a little while to let you know if we have the part, 1 week later still have got nowhere with this issue. I finally ordered another part online I am guessing by their reviews I will never see my part or a refund. I have owned businesses for years and this is the worst i have ever ran into my bad for not reading the reviews, Be careful with this place shady business practice and it seems they are lacking knowledge for what they do.

Ordered a fender from this JUNK YARD and when it arrived is was bent in half. Totally unusable. Paid $184.00 delivered and they said they would credit me $40. What a joke!!! So is this place. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. You will be taken advantage of. I've seen crushed beer cans in better shape than what they sent me. And this is, in their words, is in PRISTINE shape. LOL!!!!!!

Great selection of parts for just about everything you can imagine even the hard to find stuff like RV parts and some very rare very hard to find parts. This guy has everything you can imagine and then more idk how many acres of vehicles there are but definitely more than anywhere else I've seen

Purchased a motor from them. From the start I ran into issues with it. First the bolts for the exhaust manifold were broken and bent so that has to be fixed. I needed new exhaust manifolds which apparently not manufactured anymore so it took me 6 weeks to source one. By the time I finally got the motor installed it was 9 days out of warranty which I can understand if that was the only problem. Only I found the head gasket was blown. The heads warped, the engine was full of stop leak, one of the pistons was shattered and the oil pan was full of chunks of metal the size of golf balls. The manager refuses to offer any concessions at all. Zero professional integrity.
