Great relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and just so welcoming. A pond for catch and release for the dads and kids, while the moms enjoyed chatting and charcuterie under the umbrellas with a glass or three of Ascender Pomegranate. We may do this again next Mother’s Day, or any other day for that matter.

We have been a member of the Graveyard skeleton key wine club for the last 10 years. The wines are amazing- Mortal Zin (the BEST zin you will ever drink), Deliverance (chocolate-infused dessert wine) and The Ascender (sparkling grape & pomegranate rose' wine) are our favorites. We also love the Veltliner in the summer at local concerts. Every experience we've had- from wine tasting to their famous Halloween costume party to special event wine dinners has been over the top! And everyone there takes their approach from owners Paula and Rob- warm, friendly, inclusive. We feel like family. We have taken their wines to many restaurant dinners to share with friends and they are always wowed by the high quality and delicious taste. We are big fans and highly recommend you visit and taste why they have won so many awards!
We had the best experience at Graveyard Winery! The location was perfect on the top of the hill looking out over the vineyard and a band was playing ( can’t remember their name sorry) but they were great! Whiley our server was excellent his knowledge of wine was great ! Such a positive experience I would highly recommend them!!
Graveyard is one of our favorite places to go out in Paso! The staff are always amazing and the wines are always so lovely. Would recommend (and have recommended) to anyone coming to the area!
Our first time at this winery and is now one of our go to places. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when we did our wine tasting. They have some of the best reds in my opinion. I took home Scream, Tombstone red blend, and Ascender sparkling pomegranate. They have live music, Jenga, and a small lake where kids were fishing. Loved the relaxing atmosphere with plenty of shade.
Awesome winery. Beautiful scenery with a pond,trees and vineyard. The wine is delicious and the people pouring the wine are fun, knowledgeable and passionate about their wine.
Great, laid back and picturesque setting to enjoy some tasty wines. Went late September, on a Friday, around noon. Host super knowledgeable, friendly. Would recommend and go back.
The property is very pretty, what you'd picture for a winery, outdoor seating is nice - the wines were so-so, but perhaps the reason for 3 stars is the gal helping us was less than enthused with her role in the whole set up. She might just need a vacation. She wasn't rude, just little info, no smiles and overall demeanor of wishing she were anywhere else but there. Didn't learn too much about the wines but they're bout what you would expect.
Such a wonderful morning. This was our first time here and we had a nice time. The grounds were lovely and we sat in the shade of westerias. Wines were delicious.
Nice patio area next to the pond was the perfect compliment to the fabulous wines! I even enjoyed the whites and I'm usually prefer reds. The staff were friendly and helpful when google took me to the completely wrong place. Make sure you turn left before you get to the school!
Great service, good amount of wines poured for the tasting and good price which is waived for a reasonable purchase of wines.
Right now you'll sit outside (can you say COVID?) with well separated tables. Although the tasting is probably always outside. Great view of the valley and a little lake. I wonder if we could have taken out the row boat. Too darn hot the day we visited.
Viviana was our sommelier. She says she's been there 8 years, and it shows. She even knows the names of the birds. Ask her about the old man that sits on the dock.
Stop by the graveyard at the bottom of the hill either before or after your tasting to pay respect to the people buried there. It's a nice place if you're into visiting an old cemetery with tombstones from as early as the 1800's.
We recently celebrated our 30th anniversary at Graveyard Vineyards. Even in these trying times, the wine, the outdoors AND the staff are beautiful. It is such a relaxing environment to enjoy the wine and snacks....cannot wait to go back to our happy place!!
I am not exaggerating when I say that Graveyard Vineyards is our favorite winery on the planet! We are fortunate enough to have been wine tasting on 5 of the 7 continents, and Graveyard is the most enchanting without a doubt. In case you are wondering, the name Graveyard is derived from the small, historic graveyard at the bottom of the hill.
The tasting room itself is homey and comfortable, complete with a large fireplace and two of the sweetest labs you’ll ever meet. However, it is the beauty and serenity of the surrounding area that sets Graveyard far apart from the others. There is a drop-dead gorgeous (no pun intended given the winery’s name…) pond, and the wildlife is always present and plentiful. The entire surrounding area would do justice to the cover of Travel and Leisure. It’s THAT beautiful! The wine itself is absolutely divine, and we enjoy the house Tombstone Red and Tombstone White equally. They are both so good that we literally have to at times flip a coin to see which bottle to savor on that visit.
If you relish wildlife, appreciate natural beauty, savor great wine, and enjoy the person or people you are with, do yourself a favor and visit this absolute gem!
Graveyard vineyard with a great staff. Nice quite scenic place with a view. Wine tasting of 8 different wines all really good. Red Tombstone was our favorite.
Absolutely gorgeous location! Beautiful weeping willow trees surrounding a large pond, with scented wisteria blossoms cascading over the pergola. The wines were very nice, too. $10 tasting for eight wines, which is waived with a one bottle purchase. Very nice – will definitely be coming back!
My wife and I had a blast here. The wine was really great and the lady who helped us was really fun and we chatted for some time!! The wine box's are really cool to lol.
A wonderful experience tasting with Cabernet Frank. The view from the patio outside the tasting room overlooks a pond with ducks and geese. A great spot spend an hour or 2. The wines or top notch.
We just kept asking the tasting room servers where they'd like a wine club membership. We're so glad to get the recommendation for Graveyard winery. They took their theme from the 1800's graveyard at the bottom of the hill. Beautiful atmosphere, and ALL the wines were so good. They have a unique chocolate desert wine that we loved and took home with us. One my top fav hidden gems of Paso.
Had such a great time with my family! Talked to the owner and the family and was treated very nice. This is the second time I drove from SF to come here and enjoy their wines.All of the wines were delicious and we took home Deliverance, The Ascender, Reserve Syrah, and Sweet Illusions as our picks!
Oh, don't forget to take home Deliverance, you won't be dissapointed!!!
Had a great afternoon here. 11 wines on a extremely reasonable tasting menu for only $10 and completely free when you buy a bottle. All of the wines where great.
I went for the first time today and loved the wines we tried! The port, Deliverance, literally smells like tootsie rolls. It's delicious. The location is beautiful (except for the geese... all geese hate me) and they were setting up for a wedding. Highly recommend.
It's true the wine club is awful. I've been a member for six years and on the last shipment I was not informed about the delivery or the costs. It was just shipped. Had I received an email I could've informed them I moved took another city. I called Milissa lass the coordinator and she gave me several excuses none of which were customer friendly. The other issue was the fact that they keep sending wine by Jason Bushong
The two I received before were terrible. I even called him about it and he said call milissa again. I've had it with them. The quality has really come down here and I do not think they are in tune with the customers. Why should I go and hunt down my package at my prior address? Im the customer here, right? They are living of their name.
