Very friendly, professional & helpful staff. I just opened my trunk & their staff unloaded all my e-waste which was a lot! In and out about 15 minutes as I have to show my Driver’s License for recording purposes. The parking is a bit tight, but the whole e-waste recycling drop-off process was easy!
For the 2nd time in a row, I've arrived to find them to be very unhelpful and charing a ridiculous amount to take a working appliance that I know they can and will sell. Their loss.
Please also note they keep getting more and more restrictive about what they will take.
Very efficient operation. Some things will cost you to leave, such as microwave for $15. Computers and monitors are no cost , but you do need to give ID with a local zip code. I've taken other items here in the past, such as refrigerator, but call ahead of your in doubt and want to know the fee.
mixed feelings,,, 5 stars for the service BUT 1 STAR for the old habit of mistreating some people at random. If they resolve this one concern its a great place to do business!
No response from them at all, the phone number goes to a voicemail not set up, the package I sent was tried to be delivered twice from fedex and was returned twice. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Borderline scammers.
In/Out within 5 minutes. I parked and popped my trunk open. A nice young man helped upload the trunk which was full of boxes of cables, printers, and monitors. Also took out an old TV from the back seat. And I was done.
Super convenient place to drop off e-waste. Very convenient and quick. Check their website before going, there are just a few things like TVs that are not free, but most everything else is free drop off.
Thay will take all kinds of scrap metal and small appliances for free, except microwave ovens; a small fee. While remodeling areas of my house I know I can rely on their excellent customer service to receive my scrap.
Its a great place to offload ewaste and appliances, they take scrap metal too but they don't pay for it.
They recently started charging for large appliances, they always charged for refrigerators.
EZ pee zee - not the best signage, but certainly the best service. I was met at my car by an employee with a dumpster bin! All he needed from me was my zip code- Done.
This is the only place I take my electronics to be recycled. Very friendly. They usually help me unload, though I rarely have much more than a medium box.
They dont care about treating the customers with one ounce of recpect. They act like why the hell are you bothering me as soon as you walk in... its ok I wont be bothering you again with your attitude that certain!
Rapid Recycling is a facility worth calling to get a price comparison. If you can do it yourself (load and transport) then this is definitely a go-to place to get your appliances, metal and e-waste recycle. I’d pull up in my SUV and the staff took over to unload. In and out in less then 5 minutes. Washer ($15) and microwave ($10).
I had called several businesses trying to help my elderly mom get some car batteries, microwave and wire picked up for disposal. I live out of town and wasn't familiar with services in the Bay Area. I was given the number for Rapid Recycle by another place I called that didn't provide the necessary service. The call was answered, I did not have to leave a message, and the lady was very helpful as I explained our dilemma. I set up an appointment for the crew to meet my mom at her storage unit. They called 30 minutes before arrival as promised, showed up on time and loaded everything up. They were very helpful and everyone representing Rapid Recycle was professional and friendly.
They take just about anything and they are very helpful and cheerful doing it. All they need is your zip code, unless you are dropping off monitors or TVs, in which case you have to sign an invoice and show a state approved form of identification.
AMAZING CUTSTOMER SERVICE!! I have been here once before and thought that the excellent customer service and attention that I got was a fluke. This time, as soon as I drove up a gentleman came up greeted me and ask if he could unload my recycle items. As soon as he brought the first load in, a truck pulled up and an other employee ask if I had been helped, I said yes and he ask if he could help unload the remaining items. Who would have thought that an e-waste recycler would have as good if not better customer service than Macys & Nordstrom!!
This company has become my company of choice for all of my disposal needs!!

Had to dispose of microwave and computer tower. Pulled right up. One of the guys came over to assist. I was in and out in two shakes of a lambs tail. They made it super easy.
