If your insurance tries to send your car here after an accident, beg them not to. My car was sent here after an accident and I showed up the same day it was picked up around 1pm. They told me that my car wasn't there, yet I spoke with a manager by the name of Kelly Steele and she informed me my car was there at 12pm but it hadn't been processes yet so they weren't aware it was there in the system. Probably some extra time they give their employees to rummage and steal out of your car. When I came back the following day to get my belongings I noticed multiple things broken and well as stolen. The stole my Starbucks cup how gross do you have to be to steal a cup thats been in another persons mouth?? They also stole my chargers , trader joes lunch bag. The best thing they got was my Balenciagas that were in my trunk as well as my Lululemon sweater. I really hope one day CoPart can pay these bums some more money to where they don't have to steal from others. Then when I spoke with this manager Kelly Steele over email she did nothing to compensate me for my broken things, and I sent her proof of them being broke. She claims she has no video footage of my car, so who knows who was taking what. She also asked me for proof that these things were in my car, yet she cant give me proof of her crooked employees ransacking my car. Honestly this place is a joke of a company and I can't wait for the day it's shut down, because its obvious they allow stealing. The fact that theres reviews from 10+ years ago saying the same thing is so sick. Everyone who works here and condones this, oh trust your day is coming!

I purchased the car but the picture showed divisé it is attach to the car , unfortunately day we got the car it was not they took it and since it is costly , I called , spoken to someone there , said exactly same word, go to the front desk ,and they will given to you since you bought the car.l asked the manager you got the camera please check , but asistan manager and lady claim she is the yard manager in that time refuses to see ,,,,,they have exact the time frame to look , I shake my head I spent money buy car . and at the Copart Martinez refuse to see whom took it , it is hard to trust , any how I don’t like the place buy car and they hold the car to sale not…..

I am beyond furious with Copart Martinez. In a time when the economy is tough and everyone is struggling, this place seems to have no problem scamming the hardworking man. People come to them for fair deals. Spoke to Kelly about an inconsistency with an auction and she made it seem like it was my problem even though they lied.

WARNING: They started scamming and put Run and Drive on a car that not only DIDNT run, but also sounded like it was close to exploding. There’s no way they wasn’t bribery involved! Unacceptable from a place like Copart. Not even worth the 1 star.

These people literally do not pick up the phone. Still on the line with their computer system for over 10 min and no one is answering. Their computer automatically hangs up after 12 min

Horrible place to find yourself. My insurance company USAA sent my car there, which is wild to me because you’d think they’d send a military members car to a better more reputable place but my car got sent here. Upon arrival I was greeted in an extremely unpleasant way by an older lady. I had to get my things out of my car because they deemed it a loss and realized a lot of my things were taken. Not only did they move everything out of my center console and into the trunk but they also took several things too. There was no one to talk to or get help from so I’m warning people here and I’ll also be contacting BBB and my insurance company as well.

My vehicle was taken there through my insureance "ANCHOR GENERAL" and some how between it being towed from the body shop to this COPART place there was a few items stolen from my vehicle. About $400 worth of tools. COPART personel just advised me to add it to my insurance claim. Which sounds sketchy. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.

They badly damaged my car, they are tossing them around with forklifts. Make sure your insurance company doesn't store your car there. The ladies in the office are very nice and picking up my car was fast and easy.

More than worst experience I have ever had. The guy supervisor or Manager is too rude and not cooperative, when other staff tried to help me, this guy stopped when there is none in the customer area. And told me I will cancel my appointment, this is my first and last visit to this copart. I requested them politely and the young lady who has good manners is ready to help. It’s 2023-12-20. 9:39 am, the person who is in this shift( he doesn’t have name tag too) is a not likely to work in customer service and corporate environment. Too bad experience.

In addition to months of delay processing vital paperwork that was personally dropped off which delayed the sale date multiple times, attempting to charge for storage that was not the fault of the customer, the car was sold without approval at a price far below market value. All this was nothing in comparison to “Mike” threatening our staff over the phone and then proceeding to hang up the phone. 2 stars only because Karen at the front desk is always such a pleasure to work with.

Customer service is horrible. You will walk in already signed in and the app shows 10 minute wait with no other person in the que. didn’t get a single person willing to help me to puck up a check for the vehicle I sold trough them. After almost an hour of waiting finally someone helped me.

Karen at the front desk of the Martinez location is extremely unprofessional, rude and lacks basic customer service skills. I was able to have my car pulled, loaded onto my trick and tied down within 20 minutes however it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the title of the vehicle from the office. The point of having an appointment should be to decrease the wait time correct? Pulling a piece of paper out of a folder should not take 1.45 minutes. I understand there is a process for processing a title but whatever process is happening at this location is not an efficient one. After reading a host of other complaints about the same staff and process at this location, I hope management or executive leadership will take a deeper look at the issues and make some serious changes. Customer service training for the front desk and a process and system improvements (PSI) role needs to be created or implemented. I would also ask that leadership consider that extreme wait times seriously impacts a transporters maximum 10 hour daily drive time. Worst experience ever!!!!

DO NOT BUY Cars from Any Copart. DO NOT buy anything from ANY Copart. Save your money and buy it from private party or dealer. Copart is not the place to buy cars. At the end you will spend the same or more than a car from a dealer. I Can Not Stress it out more. Save your money. You will pay more then 20% on top of your purchase bid. They Will add buyers Fees, gate Fees, Storage Fees, to pay cash Fees, to pay with credit Fees, to send title Fees, and other hidden Fees. Plus transportation fees if you do not have a trailer. BE AWARE!!!! Expect a FEW Thousand dollars extra....Not Hundreds but THOUSANDS!!!! Save all headaches...NO one will help you in any way...They are like computers saying there is nothing I can do for you....

They have super bad forklift drivers They usually damage the car while loading and unloading. Copart management should give them some training and keep eye on them. Those drivers don’t care at all copart customers cars.

The worst place ever. They ransacked my car; stole all paperwork in the glove box and my jumpstarter. So all in all, super cool guys work here. Someone should pay them more so they don't need to steal my quarters to feed their dumb families.

Well the deliver drivers look lost . Not sure if this is organized well enough. I've observed them driving in circles behind gates . a 4 hr wait time to get loaded. I've been to other coparts and have been in and out in about an 1 hr. I'll be returning to my usual stops. Time is money and I lost trying this out .

it doesn’t have good representative at the front desk for helping customer. I came here two times. I saw she talks to all customers in a bad way. if you come here to pick up any vehicle make sure to bring a chair with you and wear a warm jacket because they don’t want you to wait inside! you have to wait at least one hour or more to pick up your car outside. No matter it's cold, rainy or got! The representatives don't let you stay inside and sit on a chair and wait for your turn. immediately after you go inside she pointed you go outside and wait outside with a serious face. That's not the way the business takes care of customers. Today that I'm waiting for this review the weather is rainy and windy. There is no place outside to stay dry or seat. I have to stand up for one hour or more.

Only God can save this place. Office staff are recruited directly from the DMV. They don’t help unless you can prove it’s their fault. I already had multiple instances where upgraded parts are missing from the vehicle when I pick it up, it shown in the photos but they stole them off the vehicle, once an entire transmission was stolen until my friend showed them the original photos he saved. I said ORIGINAL because they actually updated the photos which show there is no transmission since they stole it AFTER I bought it. The waiting time is upsurd, no help from office staff and manager is a nightmare, ripping people off after taking anything valuable off many many cars. Maybe it was an honest business once, not anymore and most certainly won’t be again

Easily received a quote to sell my car and scheduled an appointment with a VERY wide window of pick-up. Waited the entire window before calling to be told that the window of 1-5pm was over a 48hr period. Ive already lost two days of pay at work, waiting for the car to be picked up. Im seeing a trend for folks wasting a lot of time at the lot and waiting for service without clear communication.

Horrible customer service! Drove all the way from Sacramento to Martinez and they told me I couldn’t go in because I don’t have an account. Then I searched up the policy and found out you can go in as a guest if you pay $25. Told them, and they said let me talk to my manager and then they wouldn’t let me go because I didn’t have a mask. I told him I don’t have one with me and I drove all the way from Sacramento and then I saw they had a mask box on the counter and I told them and after insisting they gave me one. Then said they only take cash which doesn’t make sense because nowadays people only take card because of Covid. People who hate their jobs and put it on others.

Kelly Steele and Steve Do not let your insurance company take your car to Copart after an accident. I was involved in a car accident in Livermoore California October 5. After the accident my insurance company Dairyland took my car to Copart to do the appraisal while my car was at Copart it was damaged more by the neglect of Copart . Copart tried to hide the damage saying it happened in the accident but once all the pictures were shown they Took responsibility. To fix my car properly estimate was over $3000 but I would be without my car for 14 days I estimate $50 a day for rental car and inconvenience of not having my car. I received a check yesterday from Copart for $2000 On the back of the check it says if I cash this check it would release them of any responsibility. This check will not cover the repairs for my car or the inconvenience that I’m in. My warning to you if you were involved in an accident take pictures of your car before it goes to Copart that way you have all the proof you need before and after.

We had to go to Copart to collect the personal items out of my daughter's car because it was totalled in an accident. Everyone there was super nice and helpful. It took longer than I expected because they were busy and only had 2 people behind the counter. Other than that, our experience was good.

Everyone there was awesome and very helpful. Patricia helped me out by getting in touch with my insurance company and had to try a couple of different numbers until she got a hold of someone, that you for going above and beyond for me. I really appreciated it.

I was there on Dec18, 2018 to retreive my personal item from the veihcle. The service there was smooth, I got everything I wanted within 30mins, also thanks to Jose and Kenny, I was able to get my suitcase out of the smashed rear trunk by force, and they did it nice quick.

I have to say how disgusting the service here is. I completely understand that you close at 5 PM, But out of the 20 people I saw rushing to get off work not one had time to help me!? I get off work at 4 PM almost every day because I am a manager as well and I live in San Jose so it takes me another 45 minutes to get here. I got here before five and would’ve really appreciated some help to grab my personal items from my car but obviously some employees only give a damn about being off on time. I apologize if this rant seems is undeserved but I just want you to know that if you showed up five minutes before I closed my coffee shop, I would still help you!

Not a bad location, but super busy and when it's busy boy are they slow. Seems like a few people here have preference over others. Got here today, and watched others who came after me get loaded and leave before I did. About on par for Copart though. Office staff is friendly.

This place doesn't care about your vehicle and neglects it. They are also extremely unhelpful of getting your vehicle back to you and inspecting it yourself. I could bring in my jack and jack stands because it was a liability issue nor could they put it y9uip on the inspection lift because that was also a liability issue. They then could not give me an eta or even a time window of when the tow truck driver would arrive at my house. I asked if they could tell him to call me an hour or 2 before and they said they would put it in their notes. Well the guy never called me and just showed up at my house. He told me that copart let him know last minute that my car needed to be delivered. This company also somehow drained my battery completely. I know they did this somehow because usually I keep my car parked for a month while I'm at work and then start it when I go back home. They had my car for a week and it was already dead. Know my car won't start at all because since they decided to let the battery get that low, the starter pulled more amperage and killed it. Now not only do I have to repair the steering and body damage that I originally had to do, but now I have to replace the starter because they completely neglected the vehicle. I think someone left some of my lights on which killed the battery. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It's been a major hassle doing anything with these guys! UPDATE: They also broke my key and are practically blowing me off by not calling me back and resolving this issue! This is an extremely unprofessional company!

bought a car from them and took them out on the same day. and they put a fine on me for storazh.after the call to them was removed the next day again put a fine. and they say I did not pick up. very bad service. I need to call the third time

Hate this place. Takes forever inside the office and when you're up they say someone will be with you shortly. BTW takedown about 2 to 3 hours to pick up 1 car not only that if you are in a big truck good luck getting in and out. This place sucks. The front destination staff is very rude and unprofessional!
