I had a particularly challenging towing issue with my Sprinter Van. Eric, from Civic Center Towing, took the challenge to heart and went over and beyond "normal" service. He first attempted to troubleshoot the issue (ended up being a computer chip that needed to be fixed at the dealer). He then figured out a way to get the vehicle onto the flatbed tow truck; not a simple endeavor!

Sadly I didn't have the most pleasant phone encounter with the 24 hour customer service line. I was towed for the first time ever and not educated in the process of retrieving my vehicle from a towing company. I called the customer service line to gather information on the whereabouts of my vehicle and provided my vehicle information. The lady responded with “your significant other already called, a driver will call you”.Im glad someone called on my behalf but this is my vehicle im inquiring about. I asked do you know what time the tow yard opens? She answered they're closed till Monday thats why a driver will call. I asked do you guys only tow to 1 yard or is there multiple towing locations, she sarcastically says “well your calling this yard right? I wanted to confirm my vehicle was not sent else where because I have 2 kids and one in a carseat and just wanted clarification as to how far it was so I can make arrangements when im able to pick up my car. It is already not a good feeling to be towed and very upsetting when your trying to ask questions and educate yourself on how to retrieve your vehicle and someone who is PAID to help, makes you feel like an idiot for asking a question ,is beyond unprofessional. When someone is towed we just want to know where the vehicle is, how much it will cost, a time estimate etc. I did feel comfortable asking anymore questions with how annoyed this rep was with answering my questions. I truly feel that if you’re going to work for any customer service line, You have to have basic customer service skills. If you are showing irritability with answering peoples questions, maybe a customer Service representative is not the position for you ! Just because the person is not in front of you. Does not mean you can treat them with less respect.

even though i was here because i was impounded i would like to say the service was impeccable and the people i encountered were brilliantly helpful. after all they didn't want me to be impounded. (obviously they arent the police) CJ AND TRINA WERE GREAT!!
My car was towed by the police dept. When I called to get my fee's, they explained everything to me in detail. When I picked up my car from them, the lady in the office who helped me was nice and friendly. They made the process so easy and timely. It's not their fault my car was towed, so I didn't take it out on them.
I recently had an exceedingly disappointing experience with Civic Center Towing, Transport & Road Service, and I feel compelled to share my encounter to caution potential customers. Their customer service is, quite frankly, the worst I have ever encountered. When I reached out to inform them that I was not the owner of a vehicle they had sent a threatening letter about—despite having properly transferred ownership—they responded with unparalleled rudeness and a complete lack of professionalism.
Their representatives were dismissive, impolite, and showed absolutely no interest in resolving the misunderstanding. Instead of assisting me or providing any form of support, they chose to treat me with disrespect and indifference. This level of unprofessionalism is not just unacceptable but deeply concerning, as it highlights a fundamental disregard for customer relations and basic decency.
The company's failure to handle even the simplest of issues appropriately speaks volumes about their internal operations and priorities. They appear to be more interested in intimidation than in effective communication or problem-solving. Such an approach not only alienates customers but also undermines any trust or goodwill that might have existed.
I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice. There are plenty of companies that value their customers and treat them with the respect and courtesy they deserve. Unfortunately, Civic Center Towing, Transport & Road Service is not one of them. Their lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic customer service etiquette is a glaring red flag. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a company that actually cares about its customers.
Stay away from this scammers . They towing the car in the middle of the night without real reason and charge absurd amounts to return the car.They do this to poor people who work hard to have vehicle that somehow also old without any impartiality or empathy. They have some kind of scheme to do this in abusively way . SCAM !!!stay away from this .
This place is a scam if used for roadside service. They charge me $400 per fleetnet call but never actually repair anything. Everytime they go to a service call they advise that the unit "needs to go to a shop for repair" which I always deny because almost anything can be repaired in the field, then I have another vendor sent out that completes that same repair in the field. I have advised fleetnet not to call this business for any repairs in California and I would advise you to do the same.
Very helpful and really kind service! A month or so ago I blew out my tires and Civic Center really helped me out. They got to me quickly, guided me through the whole process, and made sure I was safe and my car as well. Thank you Civic Center!
Very rude person answering the phone. She said I had to be to her office by 6:00 same day and pay $600.
I explained I had been in a terrible accident, unable to drive and my car was totalled. They are in the bay area and I'm in the Sacramento area. Can we do this thru the mail. She said no. I also told her this car was stolen and I had reported it to the police my insurance company and DMV. She still was not going to work with me. Now she's trying to slap a Lien on me. I thought when you file a notice of non liability on the vehicle. You were no longer responsible.
Worked with Mario and another fella (cannot pronounce, much less spell his name- from Hungry with a Minnesota accent) both great guys, really helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to get our tractor to safety. Mario stayed with us until he knew we were good to go and (Hungry) was really friendly during the tow.
Need more people like them, not only good workers but good people.
