Booked an appointment for a diagnostic test at 930 am a week in advanced. Brought it over and they kept it the whole day until close. They call me at closing time and said nothing was done. I dont understand why they couldnt of just canceled my appointment instead of wasting my only day off. I wouldn't recommend this place. First impressions are everything and this was a horrible experience. Go somewhere where you time is valued.

Great friendly people that are highly competent. They are popular so they get crowded but that is the nature of a quality place. Thee place to take your car to in the area.

I agree with the 1 star reviews for this business. 2 words best describe this shop's business practices, PRICE GOUGING. They will try to defend their pricing model by claiming they provide the best service and high quality OEM parts. I've got news for them, you can do both while charging fair and honest prices. My 84 yr old retired dad recently went there for a simple oil change. (Subaru Outback) They charged $141! Then they recommended simple preventative maintenance and here is where the price gouging begins: Tune up labor- $489! Parts-$216 (that = $54 for ONE spark plug) 44k fuel cleaner- $50! you can get this at walmart or amazon for $25! ATF drain and fill- $600!!! Front Diff drain and fill- $250 Rear Diff D&F -$170 They also charged $50 for a brake inspection and a "free" tire rotation. You can get free brake inspections at most shops including Les Schwab. So basically they charged $50 for the free tire rotation. All told, they wanted over $2k for simple maintenance. They take advantage of the elderly and those uninformed on basic auto principles. I live an hour away from my dad, but I told him I would gladly drive an hour to do simple maintenance on his Subaru ( I do my own maintenance on all my cars). Moral of this story - arm yourself with knowledge - you CAN do simple maintenance yourself and even if you cannot, go elsewhere, anywhere but autotech Blackhawk.

Had regular service completed, including oil change, brake check and tire rotation. In addition, I had an alignment done as my old tires showed uneven wear. Received an estimate prior to my appointment. Service was completed on time at a reasonable cost.

I put my Honda Pilot to inspect Steering . They diagnosis perfectly & advice properly. Even they checked & diagnosed Timing & Alternate belt too.They did complete vehicle inspection. Thanks.

I love Autorech. I was looking for a place where I really can trust and I found it here. I used to take my car to another shops, but my car continued with the problem and here .. one visit and done! Great service , my husbands truck had a flat tire and could not find any shop that had his type of tire they let him keep the black truck there until I arrived there from Sacramento to take him to find the right tire . We are very thankful to everyone there, specially to mark (I believe is his name ) was very understanding as my husband was already missing work and having a bad day . Thank you for all your help ! Good customer service is rare these days and stellar customer service is unheard of. Not at autotech Blackhawk. I drove cross country from Minnesota to Danville a few weeks ago with my family and when I got into town, I started having heating and smoking issues. I was stressing out because I had to be on the road the following week and was sure my rig issues would set me back. My dad who lives in the area recommended autoTech so I called the next day and spoke to Geraldine and told her my problem. She was polite, professional and most importantly, genuine. She got me in the next day which was a Tuesday. They had me up and running by Friday and I was able to make my trip on schedule and got home with zero issues. I spoke with Max and Sheen who worked on my rig, and I could tell they were big car lovers so I was confident the work was done right. They love and take pride in their work and that's important if you love your rig like I love mine. I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Autotech Blackhawk took great care of us. When our car developed more problems while being repaired, they gave us a courtesy car to use until ours was fixed. They were able to answer all our questions and made me feel comfortable. Would recommend.

I began relying on autoTECH about 15 years at their San Ramon location and switched to the Blackhawk shop shortly after it opened because it is walking distance from my home. Blackhawk provides the same high quality service as I had been accustomed to at San Ramon. Appointment check-in is very easy with no waiting, electronic updates on the services being provided are sent in a timely manner for review, as are the post-service summaries. The work is always top notch, completed when promised and more reasonably priced than you could ever hope for at dealership shops. I consistently recommend autoTECH to anyone who requests my insights on reliable auto maintenance and repair service providers.

Max always takes such great care of us. He keeps us updated with details about our car’s status. He explains the pros and cons with such great details and care to help us make the best decisions for our budget. We have some aging cars that needed expensive repairs. With Maxs help, we were able to fix 2 older cars (Lexus GX 460 and BMW 428i convertible) to get another 5-10+ yrs out of them. We opted to fix many things and opted not to fix other things and couldn’t be more grateful for Max sharing his knowledge so we could make those decisions. He has also helped us with our newer Tesla Y, with maintenance items to keep it running well for years to come.

I’ve been using Blackhawk AutoTECH for the past 10 years now for my 3 cars and have always been very happy with the quality and service I have received. From the front shop administration to the service advisors, my experience has only been positive. They provide a detailed report on what needs done and provide a comprehensive estimate of costs without any pressure to carry out work, it’s always my choice. I’ve recommended them to friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. They are a great local option verses the large dealerships.

the check engine warming lighted up in my 1995 Mercedes Benz and so I brought it to AutoTech Blackhawk for an evaluation. The quote was for about $500 which is standard. Well, after the technician spent about 45 minutes evaluating the car, including a road test, they couldn't found the underlying problem and they told me that I don't need to pay for anything. I offered to pay for half of the quoted price for their time and effort but they insisted that I didn't owe them anything. I am grateful for their service and appreciate their honesty.

Excellent friendly service and personnel. They waived the $40 tire repair fee after removing a nail from my tire. Luckily it did not leak after removal. I could have pulled it out myself but did not want to risk leakage.

Outstanding, fast, professional service. Certainly not the cheapest option around, but they are well worth it. I have taken both my Subaru Outback and my Nissan Armada in for service and have always been very pleased. Today my Outback needed a new battery. I called them at 1:30, they ordered the battery, got it delivered in under 40 minutes, texted me to come in, and I was in and out in 22 minutes. Oh, and while I was there they removed a small nail that was causing a slow leak in my tire. Can’t beat that.

I can’t say enough good things about Blackhawk Auto Tech! They took my car in without an appointment, diagnosed the issues quickly, and fixed everything it needed. They even provided a loaner car for free, which made things so much easier. We trust their expertise and honesty, and we’ll always come back here for any car needs!

What an awesome place! I called to get an appointment for a new battery for my Jaguar F-Pace. The service advisor, Geraldine, checked their inventory to make sure they had one in stock. They did and she got me in the very same day I called! We found them 5 months ago. They did the routine oil change and front brakes for us. Everything is great! I highly recommend them for their friendliness, professionalism and great, timely work! We will definitely return!
