Our car caught fire and burned up in dOakland. We tried to get Pick-a-Part to come and salvage the car, but they wouldn’t tow from a city street unless it was a private address. I called AAA to tow the car, I pay a lot of money every year for towing service. They refused to take the car for no good reason. That was total bogus. Then fortunately, I called Alvin‘s automotive Inc. Alvin was friendly and wanted to help right away, tho he was schlepping another car around. He arrived the following morning as planned and towed the car off the street to get salvaged. It occurred to him at the salvage yard, that I gave him the wrong pink slip, when they wouldn’t except the car. I mailed him the right pink slip, as I was flying out the next morning. He had to tow the car all the way back to his yard in Brentwood and store it until the mail delivered the pink slip. I paid him extra, as it was my mess up. He took care of everything and today I got the pink slip for the other car back expedited mail. I’m very appreciative for Alvin’s help and consideration.
Alvin helped us get rid of my aunts old Ford Focus, even giving me advice on how to get the old loan company taken off the title!
