Quite some time ago, when I first moved to the Motherload, my truck was impounded by the CHP for a registration violation. The next business day I took a bus with a hand-truck to retrieve my mom's gravestone I had in the cab of my truck. It was quarried of marble and had in engraved and I was in process of marking my mother's grave. It was rather heavy. When I arrived at SBT the worker showed me to my truck and stood there and watched me as I attempted to retrieve the tombstone. I had to access the interior of my truck through the rear window hatch as other vehicles were parked so close I couldn't access inside because doors wouldn't open enough. As I struggled I asked the man for help with the tombstone as I tried slide it out the door, he adamantly refused to assist me, but seemed entertained as he watched me struggle with this heavy rock. Fearing it would fracture the marble, I decided to stop trying retrieve it that day hoping later maybe the doors wouldn't be so crowded and I might have better success. So I went to the office and offered the manager the title to my truck in Lieu of the tow and storage fees. The manager refused and said "no I don't need that title sir, because I am going to get your truck and all the fees regardless just wait and see!". About a month later before my truck had went through the process of being taken from me I received a letter from San Joaquin Courts Stockton Police department with a Red light violation by a camera, showing a female driving my truck a couple weeks after it was impounded. Seems kind of shady since it was me who was liable for anything else that girl could have done. Then about a year goes by, the manager was right, he did get my truck and over $1800.oo was levied from my savings account. They got me really good... I don't think we have much choice up here. Sam Berri needs competition. I would have left zero stars if I could have.

The driver David was awesome he told me he was going to be there within 10 minutes and was. He went out of his way to help me figure out my broken key fob and the reason my car was not starting. David ended up towing my car to my home and put it exactly where I wanted it. He saved me from a high diagnostic cost. Thanks David. I highly recommend Sam Berry Towing. This is my second awesome experience with them and highly recommend them.

Stranded late last night by a failed accessory-drive belt on tiny Sheep Ranch Road, night-shift-driver Dave rode to the rescue in record time. From reassuring my wife on the phone right through delivering us and our Chevy Tahoe to a shop within walking distance of home near midnight, your driver's prompt response and cheerful demeanor lifted the spirits of one tired, elderly couple—for the second time, incidentally. We were pleasantly surprised and relieved to recognize Dave from our only prior experience with Sam Beri Towing. In that breakdown, Dave took extra care loading and delivering a 1961 Plymouth that's been in the family since 1963. After 60 years of driving (and breaking down), these have been my least-painful encounters with tow-truck drivers who happen to be the same gentleman.

My Tesla wouldn’t start so I ended using them twice. First they confirmed that the small battery was working fine. The next morning they came to tow me to Stockton. They were careful and thorough in transporting my car on the flatbed. They were also very personable! Highly recommend them!

Had to get towed on Friday in the middle of the day. Joey was fantastic. Showed up 15mins earlier than expected by AAA. Greeted with a smile and concern of what my problem was with my vehicle. My car is band new, and he handled it with care. Definitely recommend Sam Berri towing for anyone in our area! Thanks again Joey for all your help!

Joey showed up super quick after I locked my keys in my trunk. He was in my car in no time. But my car wouldn’t let us open the trunk. He worked hard to figure it out and finally got in to the trunk. Great service! Always great service from Sam Berry!

Joey was awesome! My fuel pump went out here in Angel's Camp, he was here from Murphy's within 30 minutes, on a Sunday!! Got my truck safely back to Rancho Cordova. Best service ever, highly recommend!

Joey was awesome! The tire came off my truck on the side of parrotts ferry rd and he got there quick, kept in great communication with me and was able to get the truck loaded and towed in less than an hour! Would highly recommend them!

I live over 80 miles away from Angles Camp, and was only in Murphy’s for the day. Car broke down and Sam Berri Towing was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with needing a tow!

Sam Beri Towing did us a solid today and got us a tow to Avery from the Calaveras Big Tree campground in a VERY timely fashion. Joey was an extremely professional, competent and detail oriented employee not to mention a pleasure to talk with. Sam Beri Towing is lucky to have him!

My Saab had its last day on the road today and I’d give 6 stars if I could. Joey was there faster than the originally quoted time. Super personable guy and made for a great ride home. Joey couldn’t have been more helpful; He arrived swiftly and got me safely in the tow truck off the busy highway. He got me to a gas station so I could use the bathroom. He figured out it was probably out of gas, so he stopped on the way back and we put in $10 gas.The car started but he made sure I got back to my house.If you need a tow in this area you’ll be lucky to get Joey!

A master class put on by Sam Berri Towing to get my very low slung Mercedes SL500 -- transmission stuck in Park and not running -- around a corner of my house and onto a flatbed. Team of two drivers/trucks handled this complex situation carefully and efficiently. Smart problem solving and attention to every detail. Very gratifying to work with experts who really take their work seriously. Thanks for the great service!

Joey is the BEST! My trailer tire shredded while driving through Angels Camp just as the sun went down. I pulled off into a parking lot just along the highway where the aftermath of a bad accident was being cleaned up. Luckily, I had a spare tire, but I was not able to get the old tire off. I got the attention of Sam Berri tow truck drivers as they were leaving with the damaged cars from the accident and asked for assistance. Joey stepped up to help me. He was not only polite, but was very quick. He even helped me back up to the trailer so that I could hook it back up and get home. I am very grateful for his help. I didn't want to leave the trailer overnight. Dealing with it on my hour + commute into work on a Monday morning would not have been pleasant. Thank you Joey! You saved the day. ?

I had to have my car towed home the tow truck driver Joey arrived very quickly and was fast and efficient with loading up the truck and backing it into my narrow driveway. He made it look easy! Handled my car with care, never scraped when unloading it.

If you are needing a tow, it’s likely that you are already experiencing some pretty stressful vehicle related issues, but the guys at Sam Berri Towing make at least this part of the whole thing totally stress free. I’ve had to have my truck towed by Joey several times and every time I received the best of service. He was quick to arrive, had my truck loaded and unloaded faster than I thought possible and seemed to genuinely care about what I was going through. This last time that I needed a tow Mike came to the rescue. At first I was a bit bummed that it wasn’t my favorite tow guy coming to help.. but to my surprise Mike did just as good of a job. So big thanks to both of these guys!! You guys rock!

Just got a tow from Arnold to Stockton from Michael at Sam Berri Towing. The professional yet very personable service received from Michael was exceptional. He was great from start to finish; courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Also, as an added bonus, shared good conversation over the hour long drive. I just have to say how awesome Brian jones was! I was traveling with my brother, sister in law and our kids from cali back to Washington when our rv caught fire. When Brian was there, he allowed us to get important stuff of our rv before bawling it away. He also made sure that we were ok and had a place to stay (as by the time it was all said and done it was 4 am). He was awesome with my 8 year old when she was talking to him also. Coming from a tow family myself, it means a lot on the manner of other tow truck drivers! Please from the bottom of my heart, thank him. You have great men on your team!

I wish I could give more than 5* rating! I bought a vintage Corvette that hasn’t run in years for a very special gift. I asked that it would be carefully loaded onto the truck being that it sat so low to the ground and all the body panels are made of fiberglass. They immediately recommended a flat bed. It got to the car before I did! And this was on Labor Day! So fast! The tow truck driver was awesome and took special care of our vehicle being that it was so low to the ground. I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks to the great office staff that promptly answered my calls. And thanks to the tow truck operator that took such good care of our car! Price was exactly what they said it would be and I can’t tell you how appreciative I am for these wonderful people!
