Have you heard that customer service is dead? This is NOT the case with King Towing! While traveling from Sacramento to Bucks Lake for our last family vacation of the summer, we had just passed through Oroville, headed up the steep incline of the Oro-Quincy Highway and the radiator blew. Stuck on the side of the highway, half way up the mountain with the wife, 3 kids, dog and towing a trailer full of kayaks, GEICO connected us with King towing. I laid the whole situation out to the dispatcher and she was, very sympathetic and came up with a plan quickly. They sent a tow truck for our pickup and a second vehicle for the rest of the family and the kayak trailer. They arrived within 45 minutes, which is amazing considering the circumstances and had us at the mechanic in another 20, who turned out to be awesome too (Lakeside Auto and Diesel Repair)- had us back on the road within an hour of our arrival! The awesome team at King Towing even gave us a ride to a Taco spot down the street so we could grab a bite while we waited for the new radiator to be installed!! We’d give them 6 stars if we could!!!
Absolutely top-notch service across the board. The King Towing crew provided the most professional and friendly service I've ever received from ANY business. Not only did they rescue me and my truck from out of the boondocks, but they shuttled me all over town to my hotel and U-haul. Then after his crew had loaded my truck onto my U-haul for my trip back home, Chris (the owner) followed up with at least 2 phone calls to be sure that I was doing OK. His entire crew treated me like family. Thanks again, Chris, Levi, Jesse, Teresa and Victoria!
I had great experience last night with King Towing and their driver Roger. My van overheated in Chico last night. They helped me with insurance coverage and what to do step by step and then stayed in touch. And, Roger, the best... concerned for our welfare, arrived quickly, professional yet friendly and even spotted another problem with one of my tires. Definitely, call them again.
Wow, Victoria and Jesse took a bad situation and made it just about as easy as possible. My tow truck arrived quickly And they kept me updated by text the entire time. They even made arrangements for me to stow my keys so I could leave my car and get to my meeting on time. Jesse sent me pictures of my car along the way, so I knew exactly what was going on, including pictures of where it was parked at the mechanics And a picture of him dropping my keys into the after hours box. Thanks to everybody at King towing for taking such great care of me in a tough situation!

King Towing was fast, pleasant, and an overall joy to work with when getting my work vehicle towed from Redding to Sacramento. Their dispatch was very nice and helpful as was Jesse the driver who called me to let me know he was en route to pickup my vehicle, and he called about 25 minutes before dropping it off. # Kingtowing. Every time I call he answers his phone on the first rank. Every instance, he supplies quality service at an affordable price in a timely manner. If you need towing in Oroville or the surrounding areas, this is the only service to call. I've only known the man for a few months but I consider him a friend he works all day all night 7 days a week. Absolutely great service!!! I apologize for forgetting the tow truck drivers name…but he was great. He showed up promptly when I broke down on the highway. He was so fast that my husband hadn’t arrived yet to take me home; so the driver kindly waited to make sure I was safe until my husband arrived. Thank you again.
About as easy as it gets in my opinion. Small SUV that wouldn’t start needed a tow to a local mechanic. Gave very specific instructions on where to tow the vehicle. Dispatch gal was rude and could care less about my time nor did she seem apologetic for the wait time so far. After 3 hours of waiting, a younger “care less attitude” guy showed up. Absolutely filthy. He’s a tow truck driver I get it but, this is a nice SUV and he smeared grease all over the seat and steering wheel. No introduction no confirmation no sorry it took so long of any kind just him asking, “this it?” After confirming he knew where he was going and giving him the keys I was able to leave. This was a Friday afternoon. Had to leave town for a funeral back on Monday. Monday- Called the mechanic to check on the repair status. He stated they never received the vehicle!!. Wonderful! After researching what happened, I finally figured out that Kings towing delivered my vehicle to a completely different address and a different mechanic shop altogether. How does this happen? They have all my contact information, I confirmed the drop location with his dispatch and him directly….so why wouldn’t they confirm the location again if he was confused or had questions??. Tow truck driver dropped the key into the wrong dropbox with a note containing my contact information for the mechanics, but his handwriting was so horrible they couldn’t read it and therefore couldn’t figure out who to call or who the vehicle even belonged to. Overall experience: Garbage. Never again

I got the number for Kings towing through another business. When I called they were very friendly and professional. Now they couldn't help with the kind of towing that I needed, but they told me who could, gave me the phone number and lots of details. I could not have been happier with their customer service!
It takes someone special to speak up when they know someone else is better suited for the job. It also tells me that they know their own business very, very well!
Had my front wheel drive 4 door sedan with both front tires stuck in a ditch, in the middle of nowhere, on a mountain over an hour away from their head quarters. Thick fog, wind and rain. Thought I was sleeping there through the night for sure.
King's driver , Mr. Evan. Showed up in less than 45 minutes. I described the situation to him and in less than 15 minutes I was on my way home.
The driver knew exactly what he was doing as well as the proper procedures for all of his equipment. My car was in a pretty tough spot with no room for any standard winch out. Luckily, Evan came up with his plan, tow strapped around a tree, and devised a pulley system to get my car unstuck all with no damage to my car or any surrounding property.
All in all, Great company, knowledgeable and friendly staff, great communication through dispatch. I would recommend to a friend, I will use them again if I need a tow and prefer King Towing over any of the companies I have encountered in the past.
