This company is absolutely not it. My Subaru WRX caught on fire in the trunk and blew out an air bag. Called AAA to have it towed home. They sent out this company. After waiting over 2 HOURS, the guy (Omar) finally showed up just to tell me he has never towed a WRX and he will not be towing mine because it is “to low” (mind you i have it dropped maybe 1 inch if that) and that i need to call and have a “special equipment” truck come out and pick it up. And that also it will have to be out of pocket cost cause AAA will not cover “special equipment”. Would not recommend this company at all. Tried to nickel and dime me and im not about that.
I just had my car towed from my house to Mario's Automotive and my car was picked up by Phillip.
Phillip was quick, efficient, beyond friendly, and they got to my house to tow REALLY fast. Service like this is why I keep AAA Insurance.
Truly after a stressful event of a car breakdown, having a tow truck driver make the process quick and easy, makes all the difference in the world.
I know something went down back in 2020 with someone's groceries, but it appears that whoever was in charge then, isn't in charge now.
I would absolutely trust their Towing department with any vehicle of mine.

There were issues that I had to work out with AAA and our first tow driver left without any assistance or taking the time to investigate a solution.. The second tow was sent and I was assures by a supervisor that everything was fixed and noted and there would be no problem. Thankfully Will was our second driver and took the time to mot only let me call but to call also and verify that my registration was paid and never made us feel like we were on our own or a bother.. I believe our first driver was doing his job but it would have been nice to have had Will be our first driver because he cared and was patient even helped us work out the issues with AAA this company did right by the people they serve when they hired him , I hope that the company knows that he hands down made a horrible situation for me and my family goe smother and how he conducts himself should be a goal for all drivers , thank you will and you have a awesome employee Mr. Patterson , I hope you know what a asset he is to company
Mark was helpful and efficient. He arrived quickly. There were no problems with billing AAA. Other family members have used this company over the past few years, some also using AAA and none have had any problems. I can confidently recommend this company.
SCAMMERS! LIARS! STAY AWAY! They deserve ZERO stars! Placed a AAA call and they wanted me to pay cash and don’t go with AAA. They lied to AAA so I wouldn’t qualify for AAA’s tow under my membership. Called AAA and they sent a different towing company and service was great! Be aware! Horrible people money hungry…
I have sat here in the Chico Mall parking lot watching as Donald (your tow driver) is helping an elderly woman with her car. He is doing an excellent job! He thought of getting her seated in his truck out of this heat before hooking up her car.
—WARNING— do not use these people. They are complete rip off artists. They will lie to you to get a dollar out of you. I don’t even know how they stay in business. Use Ernie’s towing, they are very honest and professional. Chuck Patterson is far from honest and professional.
Matt came to tow us when we were stranded in the middle of an intersection in Chico. Very polite, very professional and waited with us for my brother-in-law to come as he said he wanted us to be safe. We followed him in the tow truck to the dealership. Truly an asset to your company. Thank you Matt for making a very stressful situation much easier to deal with.
I can’t believe how badly the drivers for this company drive. Red lights apparently mean go right through - regardless of traffic obeying and crossing through an intersection on a green…
If I could give a negative rating it would go to this company. Rude, unprofessional and left me stranded in the middle of the highway for two hours. Don't waste your time with this company
The battery guy is good. Other than that I've never had a good experience with this company. I hope AAA contracts through someone else soon.

I think this is a great company, they are always so quick and helpful and most recently, Poli was wonderful at getting my car towed to the mechanic to be repaired. I highly recommend them!
This place was terrible. My son was involved in an accident and hospitalized. Once he was released he went to get his belongings from his car and they wouldn’t let him. He had to call the police to get an escort. Once he was able to go to the car everything was gone, stolen, his phone, wallet, jacket etc we know it was stolen because we have a tracker on it and were able to see where the car was towed since the phone was left in the car. Also they are closed on the weekend so you are forced to pay more money. At 120$ a day it adds up fast. Oh if your car is totalled they will buy it from you if you give them 200$ cash in an envelope. You deal with the workers through a locked door with a small opening ....just weird. This place is criminal!! Never ever use!
How are you not going to let someone get their groceries out of the car that was totalled. This is completely wrong. With everything going on in the world and you won't let someone get the food to feed their kids. Disgraceful
They wanted to charge a family 125.00 to retrieve the grocery in the truck following an auto accident . That this company towed there wrecked car . SHAME ON YOU CHUCK PATTERSON FAMILY
If someone’s car was towed for being totaled and they were in the hospital they did not allow them to get their groceries out of the car. During I g Thai hard time already so not ok.
I was totally happy with Chuck Patterson's Towing, our driver "Poli Martinez" was courteous and professional. I was really happy with the cleanliness of the truck, it made the long ride from Chico to Oroville a pleasant ride for me and my husband.
Would leave 0 stars if it were possible. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The receptionist gave an estimated 90 minute time to have my truck towed; after one hour and 90 minutes, I called for an update and was told by her that they took AAA customers first and it would be ANOTHER "estimated" hour. She then hung up on me and, when I called back, claimed I had hung up on her and that I should call a different tow company.
Got a tow with them through AAA. I thought their customer service was great. Had to wait awhile, but Chris was super friendly and once he arrived, he did his job quickly.
Front office had a female with a baby on her hip. It appeared to double as a day care. Also, they would not let me retrieve my stereo equipment from my vehicle. "You can only take things from the vehicle that doesn't require tools." Is most likely a cover that your items may end up mysteriously 'stolen' and then end up on craigslist or ebay.
the worst tow company ever. bunch of lying thieves, they stole my stereo and said they arent responsible for lost or stolen property. like for reals. then they sold my friends car from under her nose without letting her get her personal property from it. dont trust them at all.
