OMG. This guy is a total liar. We were trying to get this truck out of impound, and he said it was wrecked in the front and not drivable. He also would not let us see what the damage was. A simple flat tire was all it was. I would never recommend this business or their practices. See photo of what this guy's says is wrecked and not drivable.
Ernie and the crew have towed several vehicles for myself and family. They always go above and beyond to get the job done thoroughly without damaging anything or price gouging. These guys are the best in the business!
I called for tow service for a friend of the family who is only 16 and just learning the ropes of driving. He was broke down on 20th street during rush hour. I contacted Ernie and he showed up very professional and prompt. Skillfully pulled the car out of traffic with precision and speed as to not disrupt traffic any longer than necessary, all while being extremely safe. The car was delivered immediately to my residence so I could do the necessary repairs to get the kid back on the road so he had transportation to and from school and work. I would highly recommend Ernie to anyone in the area, thank you good sir!!!!

I locked my keys in my car n I contacted Errnie's Towing. The gentleman who arrived in 10mins after calling had unlocked my car in less then 2mins of arrival.. Very professional n polite. I would do business with them again if im in need of thier services
In my experience, the only thing worse than Ernie’s attitude is his drinking problem. Ernie felt comfortable yelling at me over the phone and purposefully dodged questions in order to keep my vehicle a day longer than he had to.
When I arrived at his place of business to pick up my vehicle; I was immediately smacked in the face with the smell of stale beer. I looked down towards the stench to see a skinny alcoholic looking man that I would later learn to be Ernie himself. While the nice women at the front desk took my payment the sickly alcoholic man pulled my car around.
When Ernie dropped off my vehicle and identified himself I asked Ernie why he thought it was okay to yell at people and disrespect them over the phone. Unfortunately for Ernie he wasn’t able to see the person he was yelling at the day before and his formerly tough attitude disappeared when in person. When I told Ernie that I would rather fight someone than have them yell at me; Ernie responded by taking pictures of me and my vehicle and started crying that he was going to call the cops because I was threatening him.
I think everyone learned something from this experience. I learned to avoid Ernie and his business at all costs. And I’m sure Earnie learned that he should think twice before acting tough over the phone.
Truck blew a hose driving around Friday when it was 116°. Cory at Ernie's was the only driver willing to go out and tow my truck to my house, Thanks fellas
They were kind and understanding. But the only thing that would have up them to five star is if they were willing to negotiate to help me get my car out. They made up something about a contract minimum with the CHP LOL. Overall they were nice people.

Managed to get to my vehicle within 30 min after calling despite being a vehicle down. Spoke with the owner who was very polite, considerate, and helpful. He did a quick inspection to see if my vehicle issue was something that could be resolved on spot. Shared some business tips as well! All in all, well worth the price
Ernie and his team have been my exclusive call for towing in Chico since 2018. During the Camp Fire our church hosted 600 displaced folks, some quite fragile. Ernie hauled many cars from our parking lot to a mechanic for the month we hosted people. We could count on Ernie and his team to be on time and with great customer service.
Since then, whether it is my car or making a recommendation for a friend, Ernie has earned my loyalty. This family business is a treasure to our city. Thank you!

I contacted Ernie's Towing to move my non-running classic car from the street into my garage. To most, the car probably looks like a piece of junk, but it's very important to me.
He treated that old beater like it was his own, and expertly placed it into my garage (and even helped me put the car on wheel dollies).

Great company to use. Called them wonderful woman answered the phone was very knowledgeable knew what questions to ask as I had concerns someone towing my modified import vehicle. I was not going to be present at the pickup point . Took payment over the phone without issue. When vehicle arrived could see great care was taken in making sure nothing was damaged on my vehicle driver had no issue placing vehicle in spot I wanted it. Found out after speaking with him was actually the owner himself Ernie he was very professional definitely will be my towing service from now on. Too bad only five stars are allowed

I was in an accident on 11-17-22. Earnies towing was the company that came out to tow my van. He was very nice. The vehicle was totaled and he tied it to his lot. Earnie the driver was also the owner. He was helpful and worked with us. Because they have been burned by people before, if you leave your vehicle with them and still have to pay for the towing, you have to pay in full at the same time you give them the title to your vehicle. To many bad apples ruined it for the actual good ones who are left. It was a small hindrance to me but it is good to have it all done and out of my schedule if things to do.
Great price and very fast response time. Very clean truck and Ernie even helped push my car into my driveway. He was the 3rd tow company I called and the 1st to answer.
Fast, friendly and affordable service. Everyone was so nice and professional. My daughter is a student at Chico State. I am 6 hrs away. I called over the phone gave them her location and phone number. They got right out to her, changed her flat and were very nice. Then called me back so I could make the payment for the services. They made a stressful situation easy to resolve. Even gave us some suggestions for a few tire shops to go to since the spare is just a temporary tire not meant to drive around on, but just to get you to a location to have a real tire put on. I highly recommend them and would definitely call them again if ever needed.
Tanner arrived very quickly to come change my flat tire for me. He was very nice and friendly, changed my tire super fast and was very sweet to my two year old son. Awesome service! Highly recommended :)

Ernie was so incredibly helpful! Someone tried to steal my car at winco and broke my ignition switch. Ernie was across the street assisting another person at the time, so I ran over there and he immediately helped out! Gave me a tow and incredibly customer service. I would highly recommend!!

Took my older Tahoe in for smog. They were polite, friendly, helpful and a great price. They got me in and out with a passing smog in a manner that my child didn't get bored waiting for them to do what they needed to do. I will definitely go back if I need repair work or smog or a tow! Ernie responded to the scene of an accident I was involved in, and helped tow my vehicle away. He was very cautious and considerate about getting my vehicle onto the back of his truck, and made sure that no additional harm was inflicted to the car. He even offered to place the vehicle within his shop to ensure its safety while we figured out where to take it for major repairs. During our moments of stress following the accident, he was very calm and clear about the process, and made it as stress free as possible. Thank you Ernie!
