Please whatever you do, I highly suggest to never get your cars oil changed here. They repaired my car and drained the radiator fuild. I should have checked all the fuilds before driving but I trusted they would have done that.
I took it to another mechanic after it overheated and they confirmed that the radiator cap was loose and draining.That it must have happened when the oil was changed last. And this was only the next afternoon.
I'm at such a loss after putting in the other repairs to my car and it's now destroyed after this event. One incompetent mistake lead to a loss of a car. They were nice but forgetting something this important is not ok.
Our Nissan Altima sprung a gas leak in Livermore while my wife was on her way to San Jose w our granddaughters. We got a tow to Harry's Auto Repair. We approved the $90 diagnostic fee. Harry's diagnostic revealed that a gas line had just come undone. We were happy to hear that mechanics had found the problem and fixed it. Our total payment was $94.50. Wow! Wholesome Honest mechanics. I'm an Operations Supervisor at FWC in Pleasanton CA and will be referring our fleet of trucks for the great service at Harry's Auto Repair.
Sometime back I repaired a leak in my Toyota sienna. They were professional, explained the problem , the fix and how it’s reasonably priced . I was please with their service and the price . What made me to add this review , I visited them recently to fix my car’s vacuum hose and they fixed in no time. It’s hard to find trustworthy auto service who don’t rip off the customers. These guys are honest and deserve 5 star.

Harry’s got me in right away and had it fixed in under an hour!! The staff was very nice too which is always a bonus.
I came to Harry’s by chance as my car stalled and I was towed here! The guys/mechanics were so welcoming and engaging and genuine it was surprising. They had to keep my car over night because I arrived pretty close to closing and the next morning my first call was from them telling me the issue and cost. I say genuine because during the break downstairs he would be sure to check tire pressure etc to ensure I was good to get back on the road. That tells me that the day the car was dropped he was listening to me as I talked about my commute and well I take care of my car that has over 200k miles on it! He wasn’t just jabbering, he was listening and retained it. Incan feel the integrity and honesty from them and if you need car repairs, might I suggest Harry’s! The lady that took the payment was also friendly!
This shop Saved my car, I Over-torqued one spark plug on my Lexus V-6 & had my car towed to this shop. Scott Senior Mechanic that really knows about cars got it out for me, i was very fortunate. This shop is by far the best in the Tri Valley, i will be going back again thank you guys, saved my car what a nightmare that got resolved because this shop is excellent at repairing cars. My cars back on the road running strong.
Honest!!! I went there thinking I needed oil change, brakes and full 160k mile tune up. They checked my car and said only oil change needed after full free inspection. Kind, helpful, and honest! Front desk employee even took me home when I dropped off my car because I thought it would be there overnight. This will be my go to place from now on. Highly recommend.
Had car trouble on Sunday Dec. 22nd, called the morning of Dec. 23rd and was able to bring my car in, they diagnosed it, gave me a quote, repaired it and had it back to me by end of day on the 23rd. Great customer service, efficient and friendly. Thanks Harry's!

They didn't try to extend labor or do anything unnecessary that some shops or dealerships do by costing an arm and a leg & causing extra work or ordering unnecessary parts. Charlie was so friendly and thorough. He took my car in the shop within 20 minutes (I didn't have an appointment), aligned
it because I hit a wild pig, then put a pin in to keep a broken piece together! He put in the pin cause he noticed it, no charge.. Wow. Thank you Charlie and Kam, who took care of all paperwork very efficiently.
I was away on a work trip and heading home. I had 250 miles to go. I came to the shop via tow truck at about 1:30 PM and they managed to take a look at what was wrong. Get the parts fix it and have me back on the road by 3:30 PM. Very happy!!

Based on their many stellar reviews - I called the other morning to see if they had time to do an oil change and they fit me right in. They called to let me know that my air filter needed to be replaced and then my car was ready for pick up within a totally of a couple hours. I had a great experience at Harry’s Auto Repair! I visited Harry’s 2 days ago and the person at the front desk named “Kam” was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient with me which I really appreciated! This was the first time visiting this shop. I’ll be honest, this was the most THROUGH review of my car that has ever been done. I was truly impressed. Their analysis of my vehicle was so detailed and documented I was basically in surprised. Picked up my Car today and The oil change was $75.23 in total. Kam pointed out items in my car to look out for and items that need to be addressed without being pressure.
