This company is very unprofessional and rude. My car was towed and damaged due to the tow truck. When reporting the damages the owner hangs up in my face and tells me to use my insurance to get the car fixed and continues to be disrespectful. My car was in the tow Yard for less than. Now the bottom part of my car is exposed and can be damaged from things that are on the road and fly underneath! I asked them about how can they fix it and they completely removed the entire bottom part of my plastic protector. They refused to send me the pictures of my car before The damages Occurred! Very upsetting to have to go through all of this.
I appreciate how professional Berry Brothers have been with my business. Got me out of a couple tight spots for sure. They've always gone the extra mile for us. Thanks guys!
Horrible tow service which caused rim damage to my vehicle. Towing companies have to take reasonable care while towing and storing vehicles. My rims are tore up because of Berry Bros towing.
Don't let the big trucks fool you. They have trucks of all sizes. My driver was not only the nicest ever, but he drove with great skill. Will use again. This one is a keeper.
I had a terrible experience with Berry Brothers Towing. I called to report an unknown vehicle parked in my assigned parking spot at my apartment complex, and a female operator answered. I explained that my apartment complex recently updated their towing policy, which allows residents to call directly, and I simply needed to show proof of my parking agreement. Instead of being helpful, the operator rudely dismissed me, stating that it was their policy for only management to call. While I understand that, her tone and attitude were completely unprofessional. She went on to explain that her father owns the company and if there’s a mistake, they’d lose in small claims court. The whole conversation felt confrontational and unnecessary. If she had just explained their policy calmly, I would’ve understood. But instead, I was met with an aggressive and rude attitude. Poor customer service all around.
Today I had a Karen try to tow my vehicle despite being on a sidewalk, having a dead battery and no prior notice to move my vehicle. The drive arrived and saw the escalated situation and did his best to help everyone. He spoke to the lady and helped me jump my vehicle to move it to another location. The driver didn’t need to help jump my vehicle or help defuse the situation but they did despite being called to show up a waste their time with us. Amazing group of guys. Wish I got their names.
I wanted to recognize Ivan's kindness towards me yesterday after my car accident. He sat and talked with me while I was waiting for my ride. He and another guy helped me unload my car and was just all around nice to be around since I was pretty shaken up. Thanks Ivan, your kindness was appreciated!!

Absolute worst company and ownership. They don’t care. There’s no sense of service, value, compassion, professionalism or anything. They exist just to survive and make money off of screwing people over. The pricing is also the worst. Can Government control their industry? My car got towed for no reason and I have no choice but to pay their stupid $550 fee to get my car back. They suck.
They are very rude and hung up in my face several times after lying about being able to give me a copy of my deceased father lien papers. The manager claim I was being rude because I was explaining to her as she kept cutting me off that I spoke with someone who said they found the documents and was able to do it. She has a smart mouth. I do not recommend. Should no empathy and just tried to tell me anything to get me off the phone.
Illegally towed my vehicle and stole personal items, including a watch, cell phones and computers. My attorneys are pursuing liens against owners of this company. When they file to collect towing fees, we are removing to federal court for Constitutional due process violations. A civil rights action for ADA violations, including failure to grant reasonable accommodations requests.
Do not put up with their thefts and illegal towing of properly licensed and parked vehicles.
Sold my sister a straight lemon. She only had her car a week. So sad, people work hard for their money. She a single mom she really needed a good working car. Now she back on the bus. Have integrity and empathy for people. GOD don’t like ugly.
Had the worst experience ever with this towing company, if you are looking for a good reliable, professional and with actual CUSTOMER CARE DO NOT GO TO THIESE PEOPLE. They have someone who seems to hate their job behind that desk answering the phone calls and every single time I had contact with them, they were rude and hostile, from the guy who I spoke with to the women also. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERICENCE!!!!!!!!
Oh, if negative stars were an option! I don’t even know where to begin; but for the sake of not giving too much of my precious time to a bunch of greedy humans, who lack compassion, amongst other things, I’ll stick with the “so called office manager” who thought her title was supposed to mean something. Never mind the fact she obviously knows nothing about managing an office let alone people. Very certain she must be the owner’s daughter or has a few sets of golden knee pads!! Very rude and unprofessional! She had the audacity to tell my husband their unwillingness to help was not “a racial thing” which is interesting, because no one said it was. Then she says “if Barack Obama walked in here, he’d have to go through the same thing” hmmmm looking a little more racial to me! I mean could it not have been Biden, Trump, or Bush?Then says “the way this letter is written looks like this is who you need to contact” clearly the letterhead said “Kaiser Permanente” with the address. The disrespect, the attitudes of every person who works there is an indication they either hate their jobs or feel entitled. Either way, avoid this company at all cost. I received a follow up call from the security company that uses them at Kaiser, and they are pulling their contract with them. That’s how bad they are! The low rating is accurate and I’d rather lick a toilet seat than to ever deal with these umm whatever you want to call them.
Customer service was non - existent. I understand there is protocol and compliance but at least be empathetic and kind and provide customer service when speaking to your business partners and customers.
Got to me in less than 5 minutes and dropped my car in my driveway while having to deal with a busy street. Also the driver was very friendly and nice. Will be using there services again and highly recommend. Thank you so much!
One star for letting me use a UC Berkeley ID* to retrieve my car instead of making me go home and get my passport. *Note: I haven't actually worked at Cal since 2009. Haha
Zero stars for charging me $350 to tow my car. I should have gone into the tow truck business. I could be retired by now.
If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I was told by Randy one of the employees that in order for my loved one to pick up my car I needed to send a copy of the notarized document giving authorization. I’m in another country. I get the document and the policy changes upon arrival when the “owner” changes says we need the original document. He tells me overnight a document that originally he told me to send a copy. Liar. Fraud. Cheat The worst service. Hoping the BBB and policy shut this place down for the fraudulent treatment of customers. 100% scam.
If I could rate this company 0 stars I would!!! Actually I would rate this tow company NEGATIVE 5 STARS!!!!!! They are rude, and 100% unprofessional!! This tow company is a complete joke!!! I was in a accident and the highway patrol called them to come tow my SUV and the guy who came to tow my vehicle did more damage to my vehicle then the accident that I was in did!!! And on top of them doing some serious body damage to my SUV, they went inside my vehicle and STOLE my stuff that I had in the back. If you need a tow I would not use these guys ok go somewhere else! Please!!!!
The lady supposedly in charge is terrible. She hung the phone up and was very hostile. I spoke to a guy in previous interactions. I’ve towed multiple times from a private property. Please see receipts. Someone needs to take her off the phones. Never knew trying to bring business would result is such an ugly demeanor when I was calmly speaking the entire time.
My car was stolen out of Oakland, found in Piedmont and towed to BB. Bob and Ivan could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I walked in and there was a kitty sitting on top and guarding my car.
My girlfriends 2015 Kia Rio (Black) broke down on 61st and Market (Super close to the Berry Brothers Tow HQ).
I am in a whole other state, but I called and spoke to Bob who was kind and receptive. Gave him the details and thankfully he had a truck available and set to arrive within 10 minutes!
His pricing was more then fair, I am very fortunate to have found these folks!

Berry Brothers rocks. A family owned business run by a very nice family. I've bought 6 or so cars from them over the years and never have had a problem. A couple have needed work but I knew that up front did the numbers and came out happy. I recommend them to all my friends.
I was stuck at a dealership downtown Oakland, I have aaa they wouldn't tow because it wasn't a emergency. It was dark and I was getting scared I Google tow co. Yours was the first to pop up. Thk God . They came in less than 15 minutes. Dispatcher calmed me down and made me laugh. Driver was very professional and helpful. I will use this company again and refer any who needs service.
The owner of the place is not a nice person. He only seems nice on the phone, he likes to change prices up so that he can squeeze money out of you. He doesn't at all about what situation your in, even if ou show him proof.
They towed my car at 1:30pm, less than 3 miles... I pick it up at 4:00pm, charged me 365$s.
The guy was very nice but blunt, which is fine.
I get my car back, someone went through my messenger bag, I assume looking for a gadget such as a Laptop cause it is originally a laptop bag. Someone goes through my ashtray, again I believe to look for money. My trunk is in Disarray.

My question, what do you believe in? What do you represent? Bob, the owner, is rude. I have interacted with multiple employees here. Each has been sad, mean, nearly dead. Their storage and tow rates are incredible.
