Excellent work by Angel, my car hard died and he arrived in less than 30 minutes, on a Saturday night no less. He had all the necessary tools and equipment to pull up a lowered car on to his flatbed. 5 stars 10/10 service.

Unfortunately had to deal with a un-driveable personal vehicle that needed towing and my experience with S&F was really great! The tow truck driver, Angel, was there very quickly and worked efficiently. Angel was kind, confident, and very good at his job and I would choose him again if ever given the chance. This was actually my second experience with this towing company and they handled my vehicle and myself with confidence and amazing service both times. Definitely recommend!

Angel got to me in less than an hour. He was super nice and took the utmost care when loading up my Corvette. He even had ramps to make sure the bottom of my car wouldn't scrape on anything. I would highly recommend S&F Towing to anyone, fantastic service!
MY man… Angel hooked it up today. As a female, being stranded on the side of the road by the coliseum is really not the business, but my phone had also DIED so I was beyond stressed. S&F Towing showed up within 10 minutes and got my baby loaded up and safely transported to my shop on their beautiful flatbed. Excellent service and friendly communication goes a long way in these situations and they DID that.

My car battery had completely died and my car locked at a car show of all places once I parked. I couldn’t get into my car to open the hood, so I was stuck. S&F Towing were thankfully there at the show and opened my car with no problem. I was then able to open my hood and jump my battery. My worries had lifted for the rest of my time at the show. I just wanted to leave a glowing review for the towing service that was provided to us today. We were driving down the street and our car started having issues. We had to pull aside but we were unable to start the car afterwards. Nothing worked, the car wouldn’t turn on, we couldn’t use the windows, we were really concerned. After calling our insurance for roadside service, every provider they assigned us would take at least an hour to arrive and we couldn’t wait. We were assigned Angel from S&F Towing and it took only about 25 minutes for him to arrive, assess our problem, and then head out to the drop off location. We were incredibly happy with the service that Angel provided us. He was professional, patient, kind, and informative. Ending costs were reasonable and arrival time was quick, we couldn’t have asked for better service from Angel and his team. Next time we have a vehicle issue, Angel can expect our call. We’re very happy with the service provided, and congratulations on the recent promotion.

Angel came to assist me with my flat tire at my job. He was quick and very nice guy. He arrived on time as well. I can tell he is a hard working gentleman.
I used this company they AAA. They were very fast and efficient. Angel was the driver very friendly considering where I broke down. Will use this company again if I ever break down again in Oakland.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Treats people so rudely on the phone. Messed up my tire, too, on a brand new vehicle.
Charged $318 for a 5.2 mile tow plus a $99 "gate fee".

It’s sad you cannot leave zero or negative stars for reviews. They deserve way less than one star. All the terrible reviews are accurate. Rude, unprofessional, just out to take your money. Cost is $$$$$ Caused damage to my vehicle and said “that’s how it was.” Steer clear. I cannot emphasis this enough…Please use another company. They are horrible.
If I could give zero stars I would! Husband broke down on the freeway so I called our insurance company for a tow. The driver tried to charge my husband $40 to ride in the truck for a 5 MINUTE RIDE! I understand the whole distancing because of COVID-19, but come on...the driver didn't even ask my husband if he had a mask and gloves... which he did. Terrible company! Hopefully they lost their contract with USAA!
If I could give them ZERO stars that would be too nice. Horrible customer service EVER! The manager hung up on me AND my insurance agent when trying to dispute an overly inflated charge. They called and harassed and threatened me. I explained that I was on the other line with my insurance company trying to workout the details of the charges...and they were EXTREMELY RUDE AND THREATENED to take my car to their storage. This was only 10 minutes after towing me to the dealership. My insurance company called them and they were rude and hung up on them too. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...PERIOD!!! TERRIBLE!! All of this was after waiting 2 hours for the tow!! Filing a complaint t with my insurance company to cancel them as a vendor. No one should be treated this way. Shame on you!
Wow! I read all of the 1 star reviews. This was not my experience. My son's car broke down at Planet Fitness in Richmond. I called AAA. They sent this company. AAA has them as S 'n F Towing in Richmond although the sign on the truck simply said SF Towing, Alameda. Julio was the driver who helped us. He arrived in 15 minutes. He was fast & efficient. He carried the car to Hilltop Ford. I told him I wanted to Yelp him so could I have a biz card. He didn't have one. A Google search also didn't come up with the company. I had to phone AAA to get the name & phone number. The phone number is what connected me to this review.
Left my friend stranded on a bridge for 3+ hours. His insurance used this tow company then they just decided the bridge location was a pain so they bailed on the job. Nobody notified my friend. He waited for over 2 hours before he found out the tow company didn’t want to show up. How this place is still in business is beyond me. Garbage company.
Very rude and uncooperative. The driver issued a scrap of paper measuring 3x5" with no company name, no pickup or drop off destination and no mileage. I called and asked for an itemized receipt so that I could be reimbursed by my insurance company and the guy that answered the phone said that was all that was required and that he didn't want to hear it. He said he would have a secretary call me but I knew and he knew that was never going to happen. AAA sent this company, so I will be contacting AAA and ask that they not use this below par company again.
My insurance company sub contacted to this company because my friend was stuck on the freeway. The guy came in about an hour or a little less. Because of the unsafe position I was on freeway, he towed me off to the street to put the spare on. Once he put the spare on, I went to go check it and it was flat. I went to go tell the dude that the spare was on flat and he said it just looks like that. And then I said no it's really on flat because I checked it with my foot. Then he came and checked it out and saw it was on flat and look puzzle. So then I said I have a cousin who have a tire shop up the street we can just talk to it and drop it there. He said I cannot tow it there because I already done a service for you by changing the tire. But I said you changed it to a flat tire. When you took off the tire and grab the spare you felt the spare was flat so why would you put it on. I even called the company and told the company the same story like this doesn't make sense who puts on a spare tire. If you are roadside service your job is to get the car /vehicle back on the road he changed the tire to a flat tire and was unwilling to tow to a tire shop that's not roadside service this company sucks and I advise you not to do business with them. Just look at their ratings. It explains it all. The company should've at least said hey your right, it's my guy fault. He shouldn't have people a flat tire on. He should've felt it as to being flat. Let me tell him to tie you to your destination. Oppose to arguing with me and telling me what his guy didn't and wouldn't do when the facts are clear.
