Worst towing company to exist. Broke my $1000 carbon fiber spoiler and refused to take accountability/ pay for the repair. I have contacted them many times to get their insurance companies information and they refuse to give it.
I understand the nature of towing companies and the job they do, and I truly respect it. I don't have anything personal against towing companies in general. Of course, when your car gets towed, emotions run high and no one is happy about the situation. That said, I want to share my experience with this company. After my car was towed, I called the number provided. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. In my opinion, that person should not be handling customer service calls. The way the call was handled is the main reason I'm leaving a low-star review. However, I do want to give credit where it's due. When we arrived in person, the employee behind the desk was polite, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He treated us well, and I appreciate his professionalism.
If it weren't for the poor phone experience, my review would have been very different.

Predatory scammers. I am a single mom relocated to California from NJ just couple of weeks ago. After paying 3000$ to an apartment, I parked in my reserved spot last Sunday night after grocery shopping. Monday morning, I came down to go to work and realized that my car is missing and I called 911. They advised me that this towing company has your car. I was clueless, I didn't park in anyone else's spot or wrong spot. It's my reserved spot. The apartment people said that I didn't hang the hang and they just got it towed simply without any warning or notice. Finally, today on Wednesday I went to this place and the guy was super rude. Never experienced this kind of service or experience in my entire 16 years of American life in NJ. He charged me 820$ . He said that's including storage fee. This is pure scam that these apartments and these towing people doing together.
Predatory and scammers, how they can sleep at night robbing off people! Took our car in our dedicated parking without notice or warning, I just forgot to update the vehicle information online because we newly moved and got toddler and infant, simple human mistake in a crazy busy timing. They charged $580 including $300 towing, $150 gate fee, $130 storage fee. The guy had no remorse for the situation and offered no reduction fee. Are they happy how they make their money?
I didn't have any Services done by these guys but I was driving down the block and looking for a parking spot while they were towing a car and one of the tow trucks almost hit me so I said hey you almost hit me man I'm trying to go around you and he starts screaming at me and got really aggressive. I just went and got the name of the truck I called the company well the guy at the company said he was the manager and called me a liar the guy that almost hit me in the tow truck follow me down the block after I got out of the car from parking my car and kept yelling at me out the window flashing the high beams in the spotlights at me to try to Blind me from seeing his license plate then proceeded to tell me go ahead and call the police and make sure I press number three the he didn't care so I made a report with the Fremont Police Department. Very unprofessional.
Your response said contact you directly. I did that right away and I was greeted with an aggressive person on the phone that told me they didn't care to go ahead and call the police and they'll give me the number and make sure I press number three so why would I call you back it was a very unpleasant experience drive to resolve something that wasn't of my doing. Your driver turned a what could have been a pleasant interaction into an aggressive Exchange. I felt very disrespected with the whole interaction with your driver and the person on the phone.

They towed my car from my building’s parking lot despite there being NO tow-away signs posted anywhere, which is clearly illegal under California law. This company operates like organized thieves, taking vehicles without cause and then charging outrageous fees.
Their behavior is barbaric, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. They treat residents and customers with utter disrespect, showing zero concern for rules, legality, or decency. This is not towing—it’s theft disguised as a service.

BEWARE!!! This company is run by scam artists and crooks. They took my fiancés car in the middle of the night and charged her $600 for it being towed and sitting in an impound yard for less than 12 hours. The car was towed at 1:36am and retrieved before 1pm that afternoon. The car was towed from her private parking at her apartment complex with no prior warning or a parking violation goven to my fiancé. Not only were we there that day to retrieve her car, but other tenants from the same community also had to go get their illegally towed cars in the same day. THESE GUYS ARE PREDATORY TOWING SERVICES!!! SCAMMERS AND OVERPRICED!!! These guys are LITERAL scum.
As was mentioned in the other reviews, places like this are predatory and ridiculous. But that’s basically all towing companies and is to be expected. If it’s your first time being towed it can be pretty shocking. Their policy is no waiving of fees or lowering them for any reason, and I think that isn’t fair - someone should be allowed a first time offense fee-waiving or at least have an option for people with extenuating circumstances. My friend got his car towed because he accidentally parked in a no-parking zone and he is homeless - he lives out of his vehicle. So if he loses his car he loses his home. He has very low income and has to pay for basic necessities, so doesn’t have $450 laying around to pay for a towed car. It would be nice to make an exception for someone in his circumstances. He was told no. Thankfully he was able to get help from a Good Samaritan to pay the fee on the same day otherwise if he left it overnight they would’ve charged him more. Dustin was the worker there and I want to shout him out for being a kind person and being helpful, despite him having to do this awful job. He explained what had to be done, he was empathetic, and he took an interest. Thank you, Dustin. The 3 stars are basically for the customer service side of things, minus 2 stars for zero options of waiving the fee or at least lowering it for people who are literally living in their vehicles and don’t have the financial stability to drop $450 (or more) to get their car back.
PREDATORY TOWING- ALL BRAUNS towing at NEWARK must be investigated for predatory towing in a senior living facility in NEWARK, CA. I am a female, home health nurse visiting a sick patient on 08/14/2025. I was heading to the parking lot at 8:25 PM when I saw the towing truck. The male guy saw me and just stared at me madly. They rushed and towed my car, ran the towing, and stopped at 100 meters, then asked for $300 removal fee. The driver told me that if I don't pay up front, they will take my car to the garage and will charge $800. This is absolutely insane, scheming, and robbing people! I told them I am a nurse and visiting a sick patient, but they are very cold-hearted and never show mercy to medical workers. This is absolutely abusing the system and taking advantage of the signage of 24/7 towing signage. This truck was roving and looking around, prying vulnerable victims like me! Why is the system still allowing this scheme? I am filing a report with the Newark Police Department, DCA, and City attorneys for "All Braun's" Towing Company for abusing the system. 1. FRAUDELENT ACTS- Using a government agency's name, especially the NEWARK POLICE DEPARTMENT, for personal gain and collecting money from vulnerable victims. It indicated on the invoice that they called the Police, but this is false; they never did. I have proof of the timeline and per the Invoice record. No calls or reports were made to the Local Police. By law, the towing company must report the towing event during a specific time frame. But they never did, and yet they recorded that they notified the Police. It is a clear fraudulent recording! 2. INTIMIDATION TACTICS- The driver demanded that I pay $300 upfront. They warned me to be in a hurry. I asked if I could call my Boss to report the event. The driver said they could not wait for any calls and would take the car to the garage, charging me a total of $800. As a woman at 0840PM at a very dark corner of the Street, with no street lights, I feel intimidated, scared, shaking, and vulnerable. I thought I was cornered by 2 male guys. And I was helpless and gave my credit card. It was only a 10-minute timeline from the towing to the removal and completion of the payment and release. It was my first experience in 15 years of driving. I felt I was robbed! 3. ABUSING THE SYSTEM by orchestrating how to rob money from people legally. They abuse the 24-hour tow signage. It is not about following rules, but the primary motive for towing cars is to collect money from vulnerable victims. How did they orchestrate this scheme? They have a look-out personnel, roving, prying, stalking cars from a parking area, have spreadsheets with all the Plate numbers. By law, stalking is absolutely illegal! Towing companies target elderly facilities, where many people come and go, such as families, food vendors, and medical workers. 4. PREDATORY TOWING- An orchestrated scheme to collect money legally from vulnerable victims must be stopped. It is an absolute burden to people. All Brauns Towing is crooked and a corrupt company that abuses the system. 5. INVESTIGATE the "ALL BRAUNS" towing Company to determine if they are following the mandates and ordinances of towing laws.
And lastly, to all the victims, if you think the towing of your vehicle is unlawful or are unsure, please speak up! Escalate the issue by sending a complaint to the Local Authority or City Police, California Department of Consumer Affairs, City Attorney's Office, or consider legal action such as filing a demand letter or suing in small claims court. WE NEED TO TAKE ACTION! By doing this, we are not only protecting our rights to defend ourselves from abusive towing companies, but also protecting the future victims!
Very unprofessional, I would like to know why do they take pictures my license and insurance on their phone? He was saying that he needed to place information in so why not right away but instead taking pictures claiming it’s a company phone? I would like to know answer to that before I contact my attorney? No whatsoever their policies copies on the site but they like to preach it about to you. Go on the site that’s what they say? Don’t you have a email address so customers can address issues to you? !!!! Why don’t you provide your written policy to the customers right there on spot? and under what policy is that you have personal information on the cell phone? I would like to get a copy of that. On another note people that answered the phone very rude and unprofessional.
Predatory towing at its finest, a big News Outlet needs to investigate this place ASAP. Took my car from my apartment, mind you my permit was displayed properly and I was parked in my OWN spot. Then demanded $550. It’s no wonder at all why they have 1.5 stars on here. Everyone should be calling the police on these people and taking them to small claims court. They should not be allowed to keep getting away with this. I hope the owner sees this and knows I will see him in court. Good luck buddy. I’m also disputing the charge with my bank as we speak. This business will not reply to your messages - don't waste your time. Instead, report them to the police and sue them.
I recently contacted this tow company to confirm a pickup time for my girlfriend’s vehicle, and they instructed me to arrive at their office by 12:45 a.m. I arrived at 12:22 a.m. and waited patiently in my car. During that time, four different employees passed by without offering help or even asking why I was there. The person responsible for releasing the vehicle did not arrive on time; when I called to check on their arrival, I was rudely told they’d be another 10–15 minutes, and that “calling multiple times wouldn’t make them come faster.” This was only my second call, yet the dismissive attitude felt unprofessional and inconsiderate.
After waiting well past the agreed-upon time, I finally retrieved the car. Even though the vehicle had been in their lot for less than an hour, we were charged $580—a fee that I believe is excessive and imposes real hardship on people who are just trying to recover their own property. I discovered that the car had been towed simply because the visitor placard had fallen behind the dashboard, making it difficult to see. I showed this to the employee upon release, but they refused to look or document the fact that a valid pass existed.
In my view, towing companies should charge according to how long a vehicle remains in their lot, rather than defaulting to a 24-hour rate. The current system puts the heaviest burden on those who can least afford these inflated fees, and the staff’s behavior demonstrated a total lack of professionalism and respect.

Ask them to introduce or strengthen regulations that cap towing rates by the hour, not by the day. Together, we can push for fairer practices.
Terrible experience, they towed my vehicle without any notice , they say I was parked in no parking zone , I will let the court decide that, There fees to release the vehicle is outrageous 580$ for release. This company is taking advantage and towing whomever they feel like. They need to get back into legal limitations.
Listen they tow cars, not a good way to make friends or 5 star reviews. However they are very professional, provide prompt service, very nice and helpful. If you see their name as the towing service for an apartment, follow the rules, they tow quiet and fast. If you need a tow company they are a solid choice.
This company is a predatory towing company. The front desk employee was also racist towards me.
At the end of my parking garage, there are 3 spots, boxed between two concrete walls. The parking garage never fills up, and the 3 spots are approx 23 feet from side to side. These spots get filled one of two ways 1) someone parks in the center spot and 1 car is fit, 2) people park in the side spots slightly over the central white lines to fit two cars.
When I arrived at my apartment complex last night, someone was parked in the far right spot, about 1/2 way over the line separating it from the middle. I parked in the far left spot barley over the line as I have done countless times.
My car was towed without warning at ~1:30 am with illogical time stamps: Observed: 1:39:29 Dispatched: 1:39:29 Authorized: 1:33:00 Arrived: 1:33:36 Removed: 1:37:00 Completion: 1:55:00 Note that dispatch and observation are identical in time and are done post removal.
Then, I went to pickup the car and get information on why the vehicle was towed. The native man at the front desk commented that "my people had taken over native land and seized it from the natives to create the great state of California in order to ensure us rights like access to the court system".
I am in the process of reporting this company to the BBB and am speaking with a lawyer about legal action.

My car got towed for a visitor “parking violation”. You can see in the photos attached, a parking permit was submitted the same minute they filed the violation. This is insanely predatory and unethical behavior, only to be paired with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The guy on the phone was immediately defensive, using blame tactics and unnecessary volume. We asked for the time they ran my license plate and he refused to shared that information. I will be filing a claim and will take legal action if needed. It took $550 to get my car back. Leaving 1 star because it doesn’t allow me to submit with zero stars.
They towed a service vehicle. My employees at a service call doing his job and was in talking with a customer for 5 minutes and this company towed his car. The tow truck had to have been stalking the neighborhood. This is Predatory practices and is extortion at its finest. Come to find out, its 365.00 to get the car back, 2 hours of lost productivity at 265.00 per hour, and an uber ride for 55.00 to go get the car out of impound. Overall 900.00 is what they took from me. They say there are signs posted however none are visible on the street where the car was parked. I will be filing in small claims.

They dont communicate with you at all, they dont give you any ticket or warning! When you ask them something they dont know the answer, they are not polite and they only care about money. When I contact them for towing a car they arrived very late and it seemed they didnt want to work at all, however, when I got towned by them I parked for short period of time. Also, when I arrived to the company to get my car back they were racist with me and my wife, this company is the worse of the worst
I had a really bad experience with this towing company. Our car was towed from our neighborhood even though we were right there and told the driver we were about to move it. My husband even had his hands on the car, but the driver just sped off with our car and drove recklessly through the neighborhood. This was both unsafe and unprofessional. We tried contacting the company to discuss the issue, but they’ve been racist, rude and unresponsive. Just prepare to take legal action with this company.
This experience was nothing short of a scam. They towed my car and forced me to pay $550, insisting that everyone pays the same, but that's far from the truth. What's even more baffling is that, despite claiming to charge extra for non-working days, they were towing cars at 1:30 am on a Sunday. How it’s is non working days for release if you are towing on same day. It's evident that they're in it for the money, not customer service. If they had asked for $255, that would have been reasonable, but they tacked on gate and storage fees without my consent. It's their responsibility to keep the car in the same condition when they tow it. I had to sacrifice our Thanksgiving plans with my family because of this pure scam.

Very shady, predatory, money hungry business. My 60 year old mother forgot to hang the handicap tag in the car bringing in groceries & they got her. The appointment to pick up the car was at 2pm, guy shows up at 2:40. People next to us waited over an hour. We asked for a discount as a courtesy for the circumstances & bills due at the end of the month. But dude had no empathy or remorse. At one point he laughed about how it takes less than 2 minutes to tow a car. But we get a 40 minute wait & $525 fee because my mom made a simple human mistake. $125 gate fee just to open a gate with a clicker remote.
What happened to doing jobs that actually help people & improve quality of life instead of price gouging & robbing hard working Americans? Karma is real, people
Parked my car in front of my house to drop off food with my emergency turn signals on and I come back outside to see my vehicle is missing. Checked my camera and I see that these people towed my car.. I called right away to the tow yard and the representative is extremely rude while giving me an appointment for 8:15 pm. I drove down there really quick to see the tow truck drive leaving my vehicle in their yard. I asked them if he dragged the vehicle the whole way and he said "yup" without a care in the world.. I told him that the vehicle is all wheel drive and he smiled and said someone will be with me.. I walked to the front door and can hear people inside. Waited for about 20 minutes and see people coming out that looked like thugs. Called their number to ask if there are people inside that can help me and the same representative said in a rude manner "your appointment is at 8:15 and you'll have to wait" then repeated himself "your appointment is at 8:15 sir, you'll have to wait..."
While the person on the phone was very rude and told me that my appointment was at 8:15, some guy named Jonathan showed up at 8:20 pm. Had me grab my registration and insurance, I looked at my car to see damaged on it. Told Jonathan about it and without reviewing any details, pictures of pick up to see if there are damages, he replies right away that they didnt do it.
Takes me inside and doesnt give me any details to my questions, his reply was "it'll all be on the receipt after you sign the digital pad.." No explanation, no pictures, no videos, not listening at all but telling me to sign if i want my car out, otherwise he can't help me.
They charge me $535 dollars total to take my car out. $250 tow fee, $100 1 day storage when my vehicle was there for roughly 2 hours because they made me wait to pick it up, $125 gate release fee, $60 special equipment service fee... $535 because they wanted to tow my vehicle all while I was dropping food in my house for a couple minutes.
All paid and getting the car, I had someone else drive my car out and hes yelling at me that I can not record the damages they did to my car and I can not have more than 1 person on their lot...

Unfortunately this company is a predatory towing agency. They drive through our apartment complex looking for cars to tow. They have towed my neighbors cars who clearly have a parking permit in the window. then the tow company comes through without being called , they tow cars that are parked legally with parking permits prominently showing in the window where we are told to put them. I also mention they are also towing cars that are parked in visitor parking. It makes no sense to me. If there's a car illegally parked in a no-parking zone or in a handicap parking zone that's absolutely fine. If they were parked in a visitor's parking lot there have no reason to tow the car that those are free spaces for anyone to park in whether they have a permit or not. This company shows up looking for someone to tow without being called they need to wait to be called that way they won't have a problem when they take the car away. I say this in hopes that the owner of the company will read this review and understand that he needs to change the policies or the staff in his company. As a company the owner should be able to dictate how the business is run and how they should execute their rules and regulations. They should be following the law not be predatory and look for someone to tow.
Terrible people. Taking advantage of people to tow. They spy on you and watch for people to just stop for a minute or two to come and tow your car. Very childish people and a huge scam. Sooner or later hopefully they will run out of business. I have seen someone stay in their car to waste the tow trucks time by waiting until one comes and then drive off when they are ready to tow the car. Probably one of the best things I witnessed. All the money they get is never earned, just basically stolen. It explains why both of their locations look terrible though and of course have no money to renovate or make the business better.
This company is a money grabbing scheme. My parents have been living at the same apartment complex for 4 years & our cars have never been towed. The parking spot my car was in its not assigned to anyone specifically & they drove it literally 2 minutes away & charged me 370 just to get it out. They told me if I needed my car the same night it was going to be 470 which is basically robbing people just to get their cars out. Disgusting. The guy who helped me was nice but he was trying to cover for them. Horrible experience.
Lived in an apartment complex with assigned parking that Morris & Sons towing had a contract with. I had a badge with my stall number hanging in the front window, but somebody claimed it was their own spot and the company towed my vehicle without verifying any information whatsoever. When I called about their mistake at 10 pm they told me I'd have to wait till the next day to pickup the car they wrongly towed. Even after I the apartment management confirmed the issue with Morris & Sons they made me find a ride to drive a half hour away just to pick up my own car. Towing companies don't have to be shady, but springing on the chance to tow a car with proof it was legally parked is as scummy as it gets. I hope they find more ethical practices or go out of business.
