I purchased a pre-owned vehicle at Honda of Fremont last weekend. It was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. And that's coming from a 60+ year old. The communication via text and email before the appointment was comforting. It made me feel important. The minute I arrived, I was greeted by Sammy with his upbeat personality. I felt seen and a priority. Milad was my sales person and his personality was spot on. Not pushy, listened well and answered my questions. He didn't talk a whole lot which is more my style. He just let me experience and take in the test drive process. Usually when you go to a dealership, there is an adversarial relationship that develops between the customer and the sales team. That was not the case with this team. It felt like more of a symbiotic relationship where they are doing their best to get me in to that vehicle. Look, I know the dealership needs to make a sale and move the unit, but the team was very welcoming. By the time Joe (sales manager) came over to put the final touches on the deal, I was ready to sign because he explained the numbers very clearly and precisely with zero hint of bullying. Hendry, the finance manager finalized the financing portion with his very chill demeanor and refreshing candor. My appointment time was 10am and I was out of there by 12:30pm with my new vehicle. This was the most efficient car buying experience ever. If you're in the market for a new car, please visit this sales team. You won't regret it! Paul

Fremont AutoNation Honda, I had a very good experience the day that I took my car to be service. Jason was very helpful and courteous, he explained the whole process of what they were going to do the vehicle and estimated time it would take. Once the vehicle was done he explained everything that was on the vehicle.

I had another great experience at the Honda service department! Jason helped me this time, and he was very fast, professional, and informative. He kept me updated through text messages about when my car was being reviewed, what needed to be done, and when it would be ready. The communication was excellent and made the whole process stress-free. At this location, I always receive great service from the department, which is why I continue to come back. I’m able to get in quickly and get things done before work or even on the weekends — it’s always so convenient. I really appreciate Jason and the whole team for their efficiency and care. Highly recommend!

I was pleased with all the work that was done on my car. I really appreciate the new battery in my key. I was also vety happy that they let us in even though we had lots of bad traffic and arrived a minute or two after 5:30 when they close. But they stayed open and there were plenty people to help us.

This dealership has the worst customer service. I have been trying to get help for over a year now to simply cancel a warranty I had purchased. NO one has helped me cancel the warranty. They gave me a number to their cancellation department and their wait times are over an hour. Then after me calling them many times after 7 weeks of waiting for a response to my cancellation, they respond with a denial when it clearly says on my contract otherwise. No one has yet responded to my emails from their cancellation department, and the dealership has yet to offer a solution.

I recently purchased a 2026 Honda Civic Sedan Hybrid Sport Touring in red from Honda Autonation Fremont, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I rate Fremont Honda Service Department 5 stars. Haroun the service advisor and Andrea service manager have excellent customer service, very helpful, and find ways to satisfy and resolve customer concerns. Both are very knowledgeable and friendly and they both are there to listen and find a solutions instead of this is it. I will definitely come back here. If you looking for service advisor go see Haroun. He is very friendly and will update you while you wait. I used to go see Dao or Debron but they no longer work there. They were the best. Few services after them was mediocre and ok. However my experience last Saturday was so much better. Both Haroun and Andrea demonstrated the excellent quality of customer service. Thank you both!!!

Took 2012 Honda Pilot in for service. Engine misfired on Cyl 1. $250 for diagnosis. No issue or code found, so tech swapped coil from Cyl 1 to Cyl 4 and spark plug from Cyl 1 to Cyl 5. Weeks later, misfired on Cyl 5. Another $250 diagnostic fee, but waived after a long debate (same problem). Tech claim no engine oil, so piston rings and valves are needed at $7K, or replace with used engine at $9K. Odd, always had car service here since brand new and no issues, and still runs well except recent misfire. Cannot just replace set of spark plugs, even though Cyl 5 is the bad one? Sounds drastic and like bad advice with wasted diagnostic fee. Services declined and consult with another shop as diagnostic does not appear accurate or realistic. For example, if you had a toothache, the dentist advise you to extract all your teeth and get implants? Seems this worst case scenario is not reasonable.

Got a oil change and tire patch up but the tire blew up on my way home. Went back the next day and they had the audacity to sell me another tire. Updates: left mutiple message to the general manager and service manager but never heard back. Result: do not recommend.

The service manager and service advisor at Honda Fremont were absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of me, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process easy. The service was thorough, transparent, and they went out of their way to help me. I’m very happy with the results — my car came out great and everything that was needed was completed. I’m truly grateful for their efforts, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!

Summary: AutoNation Honda Fremont is more expensive than other Honda dealers, has poor customer service, and is not trustworthy. They tried to upsell me $7,800 in unnecessary work that went against Honda’s own maintenance schedule. Do your research, and don’t trust everything they recommend (see attached photo of Honda CR-V maintenance schedule and their upsells). And whatever you do — don’t accept the free car wash unless you want your car coming back dirtier than before. Full Review: My service advisor Diego was unfriendly and did not make me feel welcomed as a customer. He assured me he was able to see my entire Honda service history. I later found the records myself of maintenance Diego claimed I hadn’t had done, yet he gave me multiple excuses for why he couldn’t see them. My 9:30 appointment wasn’t inspected until 11:15. Then Diego texted me over $7,800 worth of unnecessary upsells: coolant replacement at 92k miles (Honda says 120k/10 years), a $2,000 coolant hose kit (no leaks), and a $2,800 water pump (no cooling system issues). None of these were needed. I understand upselling is part of the job, but instead of offering a reasonable package or clear priorities, I was handed a laundry list adding up to nearly $8,000 — about the price of an entire replacement engine. When I asked for clarification, Diego just repeated, “that’s what the technician recommended,” and wouldn’t explain further. The inspection video they sent was in Spanglish, and I couldn’t understand what the technician was pointing out. Diego also told me my car would be done at 12, but I wasn’t notified until 1:15. He ignored my Uber request for 20 minutes and then took another 10 minutes to arrange it. In the end, I spent $740 on an oil change, air filter, cabin air filter, and brake fluid — which is $220 more than my previous Honda dealer charges. Lastly, when I dropped off my car I was offered a free car wash. My car was already clean, but I accepted. I regret that — my car came back streaked with water spots and I had to pay for another wash to fix it. Overall, this was one of the worst dealership service experiences I’ve ever had. Between the unfriendly customer service, the inaccurate service history (and excuses), the unnecessary and overpriced recommendations, the lack of clear communication, and the wasted time, I will never return to AutoNation Honda Fremont.

I had an excellent experience buying my car at Honda Fremont. From the start, everything was smooth and stress-free. I first visited the store just for a test drive while still researching the right car for me, and the team was welcoming and respectful, unlike some other dealerships I had visited. No pushiness, no arrogance, just genuine help. If you go, ask for George Sharetski. He’s polite, professional, and truly great to work with. Highly recommend!

I went for my first oil change and was immediately received. They did a comprehensive inspection of the car and discovered a nail in my front tire (which they ended up changing) My car is CPO so the oil change itself was complementary. They also performed a complimentary car wash. You get unlimited coffee. Overall it was a really nice experience, they really know how to treat customers

I want to say Charles Inman was a pleasure to work with. We started communicating thru email and was quick with his response. Sent me info I needed. I went same day to look at vehicle and ask for some extra charges to be removed and your team accepted. So I went ahead and proceeded to lease the vehicle. I appreciate the no hassle treatment.

The area that AutoNation can improve is service advisor needs to address customers, clients with "respect." To go over the bills in details what Insurance will cover, what Insurance wont' cover. This is important to build up the TRUST from AutoNation Fremont to clients or customers. Besides the two above, AutoNation is good, especially the new Program Manager, she is excellent with the customers, she greeted me when my car was parking outside, waiting to be served. This is excellent image to reflect AutoNation. Thank You Mrs Valencia Andrea.

I made an appointment scheduled wheel alignment. Once I drove up, then I waited about 10 minute maximum, and Dwayne meet me. He was friendly, fast and answered all my questions. They even gave me a free car wash here. I was in and out about 1.5 hours, which was a nice surprised. I was able to get free coffee, water, tea. It’s nice to be acknowledged and served so quickly. I plan on to become a returning customer. Thank you Honda!

I made an appointment the night before And scheduled an oil change at 1pm the next day. Once I drove up, then I waited about 1 minute maximum, and Jason greeted me. He was friendly, fast and answered all my questions. They even gave me a free car wash here. I was in and out about 1.5 hours, which was a nice surprised. I was able to get free coffee, water, tea & etc. I normally go to Berkeley Honda, but there is a longer wait time and no free car wash. Also they do not offer anything free compare to Fremont Honda. It’s nice to be acknowledged and served so quickly. Not sure if the appointment helped, but I plan on to become a returning customer. Thank you Honda!

Great and helpful place! I walked in just wanting to look and easily decided. Joe and Daniel are a great team! I decided I wanted the HRV EXL AWD (hard to find) and they found one and had it sent to Fremont. The day I went to finish the purchase and pick it up they were also helpful with my parents. My mom purchased a CRV EXL last year at another location and when Joe and Daniel found out that she was not shown how to use the bells and whistles, Joe went to her car to show her while Daniel finished helping me. Very much appreciate how helpful they are all around! I highly recommend this location and seeing Daniel and Joe!
