My 1997 Land Cruiser has been making an exhaust-related rattling sound for a while, I finally decided to do something about it. I previously brought it to a Toyota dealer but they didn't want to mess with it, saying it was a big deal to fix. I found Silicon Auto on-line, made a call, and Mohamed said he could see me that afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said he could fix it right then. He put the Cruiser up on the lift and pointed out the problem, that a heat shield plate and clamp were rusted out; he proposed a few solutions and gave me the option of how to proceed. He had a simple creative solution of just putting a clamp around the exhaust pipe heat shield plates, and after securing it, the noise was gone! I was impressed.
I had my oil, brakes, and rotors changed for my wife's Lexus GX today at Silicon Auto. Mohammed is very hardworking and honest. When was the last time you saw someone actually torque your wheel nuts? Most other shops just use an airgun with their eyes closed. Also, my wheel lock was returned to its original place. Another shop once kept my wheel lock, and you can’t imagine how much trouble it caused when I had a flat and realized it was missing. I pay attention to the little things, and Silicon Auto is definitely my go-to place from now on. I also try my best to support local businesses, and Silicon Auto is just minutes away from where I live. I would say it’s my good fortune!
This is the best and only mechanic you ever need. We came to Mohammed to inspect an SUV. He arranged to see the car immediately, identified a number of significant issues that the dealer had not disclosed, and gave us fantastic advice on the makes and models we should be looking for.
We then brought in a Lexus RX350, and he helped us get a $1000 discount on that car. I'm looking forward to bringing this new (used) car to Mohammed for the next 200,000 miles.
Great experience changing my brake and rotor here. Mahmood did a great job and even gave me ride back home and picked me up when the job was done . Very happy with the service.

Don’t come to this place for smog test if you wouldn’t waste your time. Their testing equipment takes forever to get ready. This is not a right way to do business.
This is definitely a must-come shop for car maintenance. I definitely give 5star. I'm currently doing an internship in Silicon Valley, and my car's front bumper was falling off while the passenger seat wasn’t working properly. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and to my surprise, the entire repair was completed in about an hour! The service was incredibly fast, efficient, and good price. Other places will have taken days to do the same. My front bumper is attached back without issues!!!
Initially, I thought the issue with the passenger seat was due to something getting stuck, but they quickly identified the real problem and fixed it right away. I was genuinely impressed by their professionalism and speed. I'm very happy to have my car back in such a short amount of time.

Had issues driving and front side was bit shaky. Went to Silicon Auto. Owner (Mr. Khawar) was kind enough to walk me through the issues and gave me options to get it fixed. After understanding the issue I made my decision and left the car with Mr. Khawar. I got my car back within a day with all parts updated and driving was smooth and issue free. This shop also provides Smog Tests. Would highly recommend this place because the owner is very respectful and his work on the car is top notch.

Mohammed was down to earth the nicest and honest mechanic who helped replace my starter, offering alternatives besides OEM models and giving suggestions for customers to leave feeling happy. Even though his original quote of labor took longer than expected, he still kept his labor fees to what was promised. Such a rare find and would definitely recommend to others!

I was recommended this shop by a coworker since it is in close proximity to our office. I brought my Toyota Highlander in because my driver and passenger windows were off their track. Mohammed worked on my car, and he is a true professional. He quoted me for parts and labour, and when it came time to pay, the actual amount was less because he ended up not using the parts that were ordered and simply realigned the windows and tightened the screws for the window assemblies. He was very thorough and honest on his explanations of work done to the vehicle. He even offered to drop me off at my office nearby after leaving my car at his shop.

Honest and fair mechanic. I’ve had my car serviced here on two separate occasions, one for a broken wheel bearing, and another time for broken wheel bushings and control arms. The owner takes his time to explain the problem and gives his assessment of what the solution is. It’s a small business, and the owner cares about the health of your car and maintaining a good relationship with the customer, not about making a quick buck.
I have a car I was hearing a noise from that I wanted to address. I took it to five different mechanics for a diagnosis and all they did was recommend a list of services that amounted to thousands of dollars. I finally took it here and within an hour, the sound was identified and solved with a simple fix.
I had another issue where there were sounds after a bunch of suspension work from another mechanic. That mechanic assured me everything about the suspension was safe and in perfect condition but I wasn't convinced so I took it in here. They found there were still some bad links and a bolt that wasn't tightened all the way. When I left here, the noise was completely gone and riding smoother than ever.
My experience here working with Khawar is bar none. In both situations he was a careful listener with the knowledge and expertise to address my EXACT concerns. Pricing was absolutely clear and upfront, timing was flexible and the option to order quality parts through him or purchase some myself was a convenient option I liked. He would point out other issues or concerns for my information without pressuring me into an extra service or sale. I felt it showed he cared more about the car and my safety than making money off it. Right now this is the only place I can go to and feel like I won't be cheated or lied to, and that whatever issue I am having will actually be solved.

I was impressed by the way Khawar handled the whole process. I was referred to him by a friend, and when I reached out to him with the details of what was needed, he first looked for all the parts and came back with an initial quote. I was delighted to see how he gave me different options, shared his expert opinion, and gave me time to decide the appointment date and what parts I would like to replace. And then, on the appointment day, he thoroughly checked everything and sent me pictures of when he changed the parts.

One of the best service I have got here in California Fremont area. My car needed window Motor replaced I suspected but when I brought it to the shop and he had already ordered the parts I needed , it turn out that it didn’t need to change the motor we just needed to change the batteries. He only charge me for labor. With great low prices. And with amazing customer service!!!
