Manage a fleet of 53 vehicles and would only recommend Central Towing. Response time is fast; dispatcher always provides realistic estimate on when they will arrive (doesn't promise 30 minutes and show up 120 minutes later). Trucks are always in top condition, have ridden in them. Have used 5 times in the last 2 years and price is always reasonable. I trust my fleet with Central.
I had the misfortune of dealing with Central Towing at 36849 San Pedro Dr, Fremont, CA, and it was hands-down the worst towing experience of my life. From start to finish, everything about this company screamed unprofessionalism, and the lady at the front desk was the cherry on top of this nightmare.
My car broke down late at night, and I called Central Towing because they claim to offer “24/7 reliable service.” Big mistake. The front desk lady who answered was unbelievably rude from the moment she picked up the phone. She spoke to me like I was wasting her time, snapping at me when I tried to explain my situation. Her tone was condescending, and she barely let me get a word in before cutting me off with a huff. I was already stressed out, stranded on the side of the road, and her attitude made it ten times worse.
When I finally got to their office to sort out the paperwork, it only got worse. The same woman at the front desk was just as awful in person. She rolled her eyes when I asked basic questions about the towing fees and acted like I was an idiot for not understanding their confusing pricing. She was short-tempered, dismissive, and didn’t even try to hide her annoyance. Customer service? Nonexistent. It’s like she went out of her way to make me feel unwelcome.
The towing service itself wasn’t any better. They quoted me one price over the phone, but when I got the bill, it was nearly double what they promised. When I tried to ask the front desk lady about the discrepancy, she practically barked at me, saying, “That’s just how it is!” No explanation, no apology, just pure hostility. The driver was late, the truck looked like it was falling apart, and they took forever to get my car to the shop. I felt completely taken advantage of.
I’ve read other reviews about Central Towing’s predatory pricing and rude staff, and I wish I’d seen them before calling these people. This company is a disgrace to the towing industry. Save yourself the headache and avoid Central Towing at all costs—especially if you don’t want to deal with the horrible lady at the front desk who seems to hate her job and everyone she interacts with. Never again
Stranded on the side of I-80 all night with traffic zooming by. My insurance sent a tow truck from two hours away and the tow truck driver refused to tow the car. Didn’t even attempt to tow the car. Called Central Towing, showed up fast and got the job done without hesitation. Professional, reliable, and a lifesaver in a tough situation-thank you so much!
The driver Oscar was extremely professional and courteous. It only took him 10 minutes to arrive, and another 10 to deliver. The entire process was really quick.

This towing company is corrupt af and are known for predatory towing and kickbacks BEWARE!! I got into a car accident and was rear-ended. My car wouldn’t start due to battery drainage. Police officer would not allow my mom to give me a jump start and decided to call this shady towing company. The price went from $330 for a jump start or tow to $500 within 20 minutes. They work with the police and are known for stealing people’s hard earned money for many many years, I read the reviews dated back 8 years ago. They can’t be trusted and one day will reap what they’ve sown. I wouldn’t call this towing company if I was stranded on the side of the road.
Dany is very professional, the crew was quick, and accommodated our unusual requests for a compressed natural gas vehicle. They're prices are ½ what every other tow has charged us, and we went much farther. I've never had an amazing tow experience until today. This is my last towing company I'll ever look up
After communicating with the owner, Quinn, I have updated my review from 1 star to 3. He was able to explain what happened with the missing tire. Seems like the program needs some improvements, so this doesn’t happen again. Idk who, if either conpany is “at fault.”
I was planning to give a 5 star review after getting my Tesla tire replaced yesterday 3/16. However at the dealership they did not have my tire & wheel that your company took and was supposed to return within 2 days! Your company claims to have never done my job/service. You claim to not have my flat tire & wheel. Very suspicious & not trustworthy. I had a flat on th 3/2 during evening commute hours. A man from your company came & took off my flat. He told me it was not repairable & needed to be replaced. He reminded me to set up service appt with Tesla. He was nice and helpful. He put on a loaner Tesla tire. I don’t know if he or the company has my flat tire & wheel, but someone is lying from this business. I find it so interesting that I revived a text to review your business, yet you claim that you didn’t provide a service….
My car got stuck in a concrete median Island and the person assisting with removing my car did an outstanding job. ensuring that no other damages are occurred during removal and he made sure the car is safe to drive prior to letting us go. the eta was 90 mins but he got there within 20-30 from when the insurance representative called for dispatch.
I got a flat on my way home from picking my son up from school and ended up next to a golf course in an unfamiliar neighborhood. I didn't get his name, but he managed to get through late afternoon traffic and was super quick and professional through out the whole experience. I was able to get to the tire shop and get back home like nothing ever happened.
After several hours of waiting and numerous cancellations through other companies that were placed through my insurance company as well as independently finally Alex came to my rescue. I found out it was more than likely cancelled because I was use I own a BMW 740I and they can be difficult. Turns out it was FAR from that and we were given NO issues... I was deeply grateful for not being rejected AGAIN just for the sake of what I own!!!

Art was my angel tonight. After, waiting 2.5 hours for incompetent companies. Art, picked me up miles from my car in very cold weather and assisted me in gaining access to my vehicle. Art made the whole experience very comfortable and secure - Even made sure my car was running before he left. Thanks Art!
Bought my Tesla Model 3 two days ago and popped to tires on it. This whole situation was a disaster with me waiting in my car for hours until Tesla Roadside assistance got Central Towing involved. The first wrecking company (NOT central towing) had me waiting for 2 hours only to call and say their truck broke down and they’re not coming. It only took Central Towing 20 minutes to show up. Driver was really courteous and gave a lot of good spots to get my tire fixed. I appreciate Central Towing and will be requesting them in the future if I ever need towing (hopefully not!)
Locked ourselves out last night and Spartan was literally a life saver. They got their super fast and had us back in our car within minutes. Super professional and friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

The guy attending to me (older white gentleman, a bit thick, a lady tattoo on left arm) was rude from the beginning when I got here. Then to make it worse, he ripped me off! Charged me for 4 instead of 3 nights!!

Accidentally locked my keys in the Van. Called Geico and they estimated 1 hour for Two to get there and unlock it. Next thing I know. It's 20 minutes and the guys there. Ryan, I believe his name was. Got me unlocked ASAP and was very friendly. I've seen some bad reviews here from before. Maybe they made changes or something. All I can say is that it was a good experience for me over all.
