I can't say enough good things about Driven Auto Care in Fremont; they are incredibly professional and honest. I continue to use Driven Auto Care, formerly Performance Auto, because they start with a thorough assessment of my car’s condition, providing detailed written analysis including pictures of all affected components. I knew that my Infinity FX45 needed major and minor maintenance repairs, including brakes, tie rods, wheel alignment, air cleaner, oil change, etc. Nate, the shop manager, sent me a report that detailed these conditions and others such as water in the brake fluid, burnt trans oil etc. I decided to approve most of these repairs (on-line process) and Nate also repaired my heater / air blower free of charge. I highly recommend Driven Auto Care.
The only mechanic shop I can trust with my car in the Bay Area. Not only is the customer service great, but the quality care for my car and fast turn around is one of a kind. It’s really hard for people to find great mechanic shops so I always recommend this one to family and friends. Once again, thank you to the team at auto driven. Last year I had a hit and run on my car! I had to have it towed to this place being that it was close to my house. The owner at first was very communicative with me, but after my car was in his shop I would never hear from him. It took him more than 2 months to fix my car and guess why, he received the check the next day from the insurance claim and he spend the money and like a month later he bought the parts for my car. I spoke to his mechanic and he said that the owner does this occasionally. The owner will give you all the excuses why the parts are not here yet! Until I proceed to send me a screenshot of the invoices of every single part he ordered for my car and it took him almost 2 days. When I did receive it he had just ordered all the parts that same day i asked for the invoices. This was about 3 weeks in while he had my car parked in his garage. When finally I was like you know what I need the car now I can’t wait much longer after 2 months he said o sure you can take it it just needs a few parts but you will be fine. The insurance send him a huge check for him to replace the parts with new parts and leave the car completely new. Worst surprise when I picked up my car, he had ordered used parts to use for my car just so that he save more money and keep the rest. when I address the scratches on the new parts he acted like he had no idea. Ooo my goodness I just took the car and never came back here again. The owner is just that kind of people that will hustle you for every penny even if it means to not do the job he was paid for. I will never bring any of my cars here
Just had all fluids changed on my jeep, impressed by their reliable and professional service. Thrilled to see their online portal on which you can have detailed reports of the services received on your vehicle and be able to see all the photoes and videos on what was done on your vehicle. These guy definately know their stuff.

We’ve been taking our vehicles to Driven Auto Care for a number of years now and have always been quite satisfied with their workmanship and professionalism. This latest appointment was for a service and check. The service advisor, Nate was courteous and fully informed me of what to expect as well as providing a cost estimate. Later that morning, I received a total report on my telephone regarding my vehicle check and service status. They completed everything on time and the final cost was as estimated.

I don't know what you did with my car but my brakes are working so well now. In fact, my car feels stronger, faster, and safer. I think, just being in the presence in your auto building has special powers of its own.
Did you put more air in my tires, did you pass your powers over my car? You think I may be putting you on, but the whole experience of driving my car went up many levels because my car felt safer to drive, and that is an important issue with me and for my family.
Oh just one more thing. I got my receipt by email that was 8 pages long. Driven Auto Care does a free 30 minutes inspection of the critical parts of your car along with photos and notes. Their shop is spotless and they offer free snacks and drinks. I was also please with the Free ride back home by a Lift driver.
In all, I am very happy with your service, communication, follow through, and professionalism.

My experience was 6/5. I dropped off my car and it was really quick and easy so I can get to work. The detail check up with photos and detail notes was more than I expected so I love it that, with I can decide and check off anything they suggested I wanted them to do beside my 300K oil change on the full car check up and you can pay before pick up. Nate was helping me and he was amazing , great customer service, excite communication with text and when I called he was able to help answer my questions best to his knowledge. He did above and beyond because I forgot my lunch in my car he put it in their refrigerator for me. So sweet. The pick up was simple and easy. I would definitely recommend this place and Price was competitive for the amazing service they provided.
Nate was super helpful and when I explained we were heading camping in a few days he assured us that we would be in and out of the shop no problem! The technicians worked super fast and they replaced the brake fluid and checked on the things I had personally mentioned. I love this place and the atmosphere so go here!!!!
I went for a diagnostic and they gave me the best diagnostic I've ever had. Nate is very friendly he Explain any doubts you have. and gives you good customer service, It also has SANP Finance.

Went above and beyond to provide excellent quality workmanship and customer service. Arun provided stellar help with working out some technical details for upgrading my truck's tires and wheels.
He provided honest feedback during the vehicle inspection, did not try to suggest maintenance be done before it was really necessary.

I am not the one to write reviews on a regular basis unless I come across some great / exceptional service. That is the case here. This is the second project I engage with them. I have a Toyota 4 runner that I needed to get a front after market bumper (Victory 4x4) installed with a Baja Design light bar (First project). I found Driven Auto Care in Fremont on the internet (Not easy to find a place that will do special projects) and gave them a shot. I was very happy with the result (done on time, within budget and most importantly, very well done). I then decided that I wanted some Baja Design lights in the rear (in the factory bumper). Tom, at Driven Auto Care did the project again yesterday to my complete satisfaction. If you are like me and like to modify your vehicle from factory (I know, it could be a disease ), this place will help you with you mods….
