Alex and his team are the best. We have been bringing our vehicles to him since he opened in Fremont. He is always honest and is reasonably priced. I trust him with our vehicles.
Awesome crew! Terry and Alex are great to work with. Very reasonable. I will definitely take both of my cars back for service. It is not one of those luxurious dealer like places. So, don’t expect to have free wifi or coffee provided. However, that helps keep their price reasonable. Hardworking folks! Thank you.
Great auto shop. A bit pricey but have knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanics. They guarantee their work and have always identified my car issues. The dealership miss diagnosed my car shaking issue and tried to get me to spend money on useless repairs. This shop gave me one repair solution and it truly fixed the car shaking. Another time I had oil leaking and Terry showed me the locations of the leak and repaired it. I’m very happy with this shop and have been going here for all my car issues. I even recommend it to friends and family.
They have very cheap prices for oil changes when you bring your own oil. For my 21 Mazda it’s around 30 for labor + oil filter. It’s the cheapest I can find around the Bay Area.
They are also an honest business that doesn’t try to over charge you for repairs and communicate well about how they do things

I used to come here to get my car repaired or oil changed when I lived in Fremont.
We came here several times for tire rotation, oil changes, tune ups and smog check. A great place for all kind services, they offered a quality job with a reasonable price, definitely will come again
I brought my car here for a major tuneup last year May, 2021 and was charged almost $2k. Last Saturday, my engine light and cruise control started flashing. I brought it to my shop near my area. Turns out the spark plugs needed to be replaced and I was told that the spark plugs were old. I went home to look at the receipt from Fremont United Auto Service and I was charged for removal & replacement of spark plugs for $127. Work was never done. I don't use my car often so it's not from the wear and tear. My mileage when I brought it to this shop was: 86k., now it's 89k. Spark plugs do not get old 3k, a year later. Makes me wonder what other work was charged to me and never done. I'm so disappointed. I have been going to this shop when I lived in Fremont, my sister still goes to this shop and I have trusted Alex all this time. It just makes me sad and angry!
Great service. Very prompt. No delay Fair price. Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Other shops were not helpful or made more problems than I already had. Fremont Unuted owner Alex got out of his way to serve me. Now I have my car in good running condition. Bless Alex and his team including his receptionist, Selina.
Woo,the best auto service so far, just go there oil change, great price than anywhere else, and quick finish within 30min my kia oil change, and the owner and reception are very nice, im so satisfy. definitely will come back.
This place is good. Professional and decent. They fit me in when they didn't have to and I'm very grateful. They have a restroom water dispenser and waiting area. It's also just a ten minute walk to restaurants and shopping so you can keep busy while they work on your car. They speak Mandarin and English unlike what another person said. Multiple people including the mechanics and front desk indeed speak English.
Fair price for the service. No primary English speakers in reception or service so prepare to explain things twice. Alarming number of disclaimer signs.
My wife and I use their service for maintaining our cars. I use them for oil changing and minor services so far. The staff there is always friendly and we have 0 hassle so far. But since they're really just minor services, I'll give 4 stars.

This repair shop is worse. I went to change axle, but was told to change bearings as well
I dont know whether it was needed. I ended up having the work done. They did a poor job, within 12 months the poorly dont bearing job causes the bearing to fail, the hub flang is totally ripped ofc the spines(teeth), the snap ring is gone and the bearinfs are gone too
Their poorly done job caused major road hazard in the middle of highway with children in the back seat.
While looking at my previous repairs record. I found they over charged for parts, over estimated for job hours.
They have taken a cared of our cars for many years. Always great service at a great price. Never an issue with the repairs or service! At one time, the owner suggested I scrap our very old vehicle because to repairs were going to cost more compared to the worth of the vehicle and it was getting to be out-dated! Honest opinions!
I came over for the battery and alternator checked...the charging battery struggled quite a bit, but they patiently helped to resolve the issue...I’d love to give it a 5 if they fixed my problem which requested some diagnostic to figure out the issue...appointment is set for next week
It's so hard to understand the mechanic explanation of your car, but he's very patient at clarifying different part. Thou, I do wish he would just do what's needed when I ask for it instead of insisting against it.
Owner tried to sale me tires when I ask for tire rotation. Tires were purchased at the store and free tire maintenance and rotation for tire life. The tire service was rejected when I ask for it. The shop owner said 60K miles on Defender tire was very old and danger. Check the spec. of Michelin Defender tire and it clearly shows 6 yrs / 90K miles warranty. Can you trust this shop? I won't. This shop is trying very hard to get all the money they can.
We have been with FUAS for a long long time. I couldn't even recall who referred us in the first place. But my entire family uses FUAS when they started in the very beginning in Newark. We saw this company grow from a 1-man repair shop to today. I would say the success of the owner, Alex, is duly due to his honesty to his customers. If you don't need to repair, he will tell you it's not necessary. If your car is too old and it doesn't worth to spend the money, he asks you not to. But if you have a kid, he will ask you to consider safety first. He doesn't treat you as a product. He treats your car as his car. One time my husband strongly thought he should spend $3000 on his old car. Alex disagreed and insisted to give him honest opinion why he should not spend the money. At last, my husband purchased the part himself and shipped to Alex. He received and replaced for him. I think this is the reason why we stick with FUAS for such long time as you can hardly find a mechanic with honesty nowadays. Other staffs have room to improve though. I read the story on Buick giving 1-star to this company. We owned a Buick before and Buick itself has so many problems when it gets old.
After 10+ years, this is my 4th car that I bring to Alex. One thing that I like about this place, they don't fix something that is not broken. Price is very good 1000+ to do major maintenance on dealer vs 300. All and all I m happy with them
