Great family business. I have not yet bought a vehicle in California and so am looking for a first work van for my business. Yama was extremely insightful, responsive, and transparent talking through the configuration of the vehicle I was interested in and how it fit into the budget I had in the context of the area; great to just talk to and discuss options and come up with a reasonable deal that both parties think is fair for the market here. I did not feel like either of us had to play our hands, which is a rare feeling at a dealer in this age. I left the phone call with great information on next steps to think on, financing options to consider, and as a result feel I will come back to buy a vehicle when I see a fit.
I had an amazing experience purchasing a car from Sal and Mo. They knew I was driving a long distance with my son and that I needed a safe car and although there was lots of interest in the car, they held the car for me even though Sal refused my offer to put a deposit on it. From the first phone conversation I had with him, I felt like I could trust him. As someone who’s been in the industry of selling vehicles, I can always tell who I’m working with after the first conversation and I couldn’t have been more confident. He shared all vehicle history with me and it was perfect for us. On top of this, Mo went out of his way to drive the car over two hours to my house and I drove him back down to Fremont. Unbelievable service and I cannot recommend them enough!
When I saw the listing on CarGurus, I was skeptical of independent dealers until I dug into the reviews and decided to reach out. The reviews are true - Sal will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable and will do his best to rectify any shortcomings that you might notice on the car. There are no BS fees or forced add-ons that you might get at dealerships and he sent the car to a local independent mechanic for me of my choosing (on my dime) for a pre-purchase inspection. The car has been great so far and I have no regrets on the transaction. I’ll consider them again when it’s time for another car.

Which is totally understandable because it wasnt driven much! Quick to jump start. Not an issue. Cold mornings and I probably havnt been driving it that much to keep the charge. I was looking for a car for my daughter in Chicago. She just wanted a reliable car and she likes older cars. I found a 2011 Subaru Outback with 75000 miles so annual average is 5357 per year. Sal was selling it for $11,900.00. Although I did not initially buy the car for her because I found another one with 93300 which belonged to an Apple employee who used it to commute from borderline San Jose/Cupertino for 7,500.00 which I ended up paying $7,250.00, Sal encouraged me to buy that car as he said for Subaru an 18k mileage difference really does not matter. I did purchase the Apple employee's car which was in good shape before I ship it to Chicago to my daughter. I then pondered more about Sal's Subaru and ended up deciding to purchase it as i need a commuter car i can keep in San Jose for my professional responsibilities. Sal and his brother were super nice and in a small world know somebody else that i have purchase vehicles from so the experience was very friendly and efficient. I decided to finance a part of the transaction but I never stay in car loans long so I decided to finance a part of the purchase simply to assist in my cash flow and not because I could not have paid the entire transaction. He was able to get me a great interest rate for a 14 year old care which happened to be at a former credit union i banked. Great experience and car is in excellent shape.

Found a 2000 Lexus RX300 at Yama Auto. Went for a test drive on Saturday. Windshield was dirty when we went for a test drive. I was told the car was healthy. Paid n cash and on the way out notice a chip on the driver view
Went back and all they had to say was "Let's take it to a store we know to patch it"
Now over the price I have paied I have to replace a windshield

I was looking at a used Toyota Highlander and Yama auto just happened to have one in their inventory, I checked their website, yelp review, and I have a good feeling regarding their customer service and I always like to purchase things from family owned business. They did not disappoint and I have to write a 5 stars review for them . Sal helped me all the way through and he is a very genuine guy and family man. He helped me for a test drive , making sure everything is a beautiful condition, and gave me a ride from Fremont bart station to their shop.
