The staff is completely stunned. I arrived at 4:29. They didn't want to give the car back. Do something about it, the workers there are inadequate, they closed the gates and it's still time for workers. they specifically want to charge for parking before Monday, and I need to take it to Texas, not people from the beast

when they auction off their vehicles, some of the new owners do not register the car , IAA no help in resolving this

I am a title clerk for a dealership and when I contacted them for their dealer number he tried to be all weird about it and not give it to me it's a dealer number people. Pretty sure when doing business you have to give the dealer number to people you do business with .dude treated me as if I was asking for their bank account gave me the run around and left me on hold multiple times when clearly they got a car and I need to send them a title, but I need to do my job for my monthly sales report and I have to have that dealer number , get it together IAAI. Also was told no still and then told to email them for the dealer number this is so ridiculous . I don't got time for that but im sure when you need the title i'll be hearing from them.

People don’t understand that if a car ends up on an auction(any salvage auction) it means that the insurance found it too costly to repair, and wrote it off. Something like 60-70% of value of car or higher to repair, I guesstimate. So for all the people complaining about “more” damage than pictured online - if it looks too good to be true, it definitely is. Pictures can’t possibly show everything, and u should ALWAYS expect more damage than visible. I’ve bought from auctions for 20yrs, and have had both good and bad experiences. The standard angle pics and their quality have improved greatly, and the engine video is vital. This is what separates IAA from Copart, making it better. That being said, you have to realize that you’re gambling, plain and simple. Ppl having their catalytic converters stolen is unacceptable and is probably due to bad employees or theifs breaking into yard, but ppl complaining about their personal belongings being stolen, really should not leave their belongings in a car that’s being towed away, possibly forever. The young asian lady at the front desk was very helpful, their staff is sometimes rude because they deal with rude, obnoxious clients all day and have probably had it. Salvage Auctions are most definitely not for amateurs, or first time buyers, as reality will differ drastically from expectations.

Extremely Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Behavior I drove over two hours to pick up my car, only to be told I couldn’t take it because I didn’t have a vest. The manager, Anna, was extremely rude and showed no understanding of my situation. Despite knowing that they were closing in just 10 minutes, there was no effort made to accommodate me, and I was left stranded without my car. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and respect for customers is appalling. Anna does not deserve this position, and it’s clear that the management here does not prioritize customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this location to anyone. They do not value their customers’ time or money, and I feel that I’ve been financially inconvenienced by their actions. I will be pursuing legal options, including filing a small claims case, to recover the costs I’ve incurred due to this poor service. I strongly urge to reevaluate their management and staff, as this type of treatment is likely to drive away many customers in the future.

Sorry, but you've become completely insolent. When you issue tickets and unload our cars for two or three hours, you're good and fluffy. When the driver is two minutes late and arrives at 4:32 for the car, we're closed. Learn to work and not betroth yourself to clients and drivers of the transport company like pigs.

Hello, I am Ali, a car wholesaler. This is the 4th car I have purchased from the Fremont branch. I have encountered some issues with the information provided about the cars on their website. Usually, I buy cars with clear titles, in good running condition with normal wear and tear, and with a score of over 45 out of 50 from all IAAI branches, which indicates no major or mechanical issues. This includes branches in East Bay, Sacramento, Fresno, and Stockton. However, the Fremont branch seems to have a lack of information and knowledge. I feel like I have been taken advantage of again. Even new employees should easily notice if there is a problem when they start the car. At this branch, photos of the odometer are always hidden, and the check engine lights are always on but not shown. Here is one example that shows half of the cluster which is the engine light on on the other half (supposed to be a normal wear & tear car) Error p0308, cylinder 8 lost 40% of pressure:

Car was totaled out by State Farm and taken to this salvage yard were they looted my vehicle stole my car radio, and ripped off my plate. They jammed my key in the ignition to the point it is stuck, and tossed out my bros obituary.

My vehicle was taken to this yard after my insurance company State Farm had it picked up from police compound. A friend retrieved what he could reach at the first yard. I called IAA after they picked it up. I wasn’t old my friend could clean out my car. When he and his wife arrived the vehicle was cleaned out and wrapped. Calling the yard they gave me the story that any of my belongings left in the car are in a bag on the front seat. I’m missing custom and framed dig portraits, 3?pairs of expensive sunglasses and so much more. IAA said to file a missing property report with my insurance. I very angry still and this happened in August

They tried to get out of paying me the $500 in storage fees they owed me. I had to threaten them with small claims court to get paid. Took weeks. And Anna the manager was a rude witch. Stay away!

Avoid at all costs. Most people experience this beyond their control. Insurance will tow your car here for whatever reason they deem necessary, and insurance will tell these folks to bag up all your personal belongings in the car. In the process, they will destroy your belongings (because they're in a rush), look through all your stuff, and steal everything they deem valuable and probably can get away with. I have money along with other electronic parts stolen by them and when I called the customer service, they said to go through insurance to escalate and that this is the "first time she was hearing about this." I'm hoping to raise enough of a voice for IAA to do something about this. Get rid of the people who are stealing. I may never get my items back, but I don't want other folks to go through the same thing especially after a car accident. If insurance companies ever read reviews, I advise them to do the same and not do business with IAA until they've taken care of the problematic people.

RAD AUTOS is a straight shooter in the used car business since 2016. We do NOT buy cars from Salvaged Auctions, but we do have an account with this auction as we do with so many auctions across the nation. We just burned a month of time going through "ANDREA" from the San Jose location who contacted us to list cars to sell through this auction. We do not understand why a business would contact another business and then not follow up with Client Services to On Ramp us fastidiously and in a timely manner. To list 1 car to sell took ANDREA and IAAI one entire month. The company and ANDREA (1) never told us when the car would run, (2) we could not see any information on our back end user panel that showed a tab or page for "SELLING A CAR" - It's just a fecal factory show. I would tell any Dealer to stick to your traditional DEALER AUCTION - not this SALVAGED YARD Auction - it's a joke.

If you even thought this place was shady then you trusted instincts. These fremont faggots are the real thieves. Do you enjoy burning money? Then this place is for you! They can cover up a car nicely with a few photos and will even patch up the car themselves covering up a bunch of damage that you couldn’t account for on your bid. Label it run and drive and once it comes home it looks as if a tornado ran right through the underside of the vehicle! If they label a car run and drive, then its most likely just a start. If they labeled a car rear end hit. Its most likely hiding with expensive engine and undercarriage damage just beware. Do your own research and have a guy on the inside come inspect each vehicle beforehand. I am almost positive they have guys on outside bidding up vehicles on purpose to run price up!

Place is run by thieves—Avoid at all costs. Car got brought here after being totaled, and they never answered the phone when I tried to schedule an appointment to pick up my belongings. When I arrived, it took hours before they brought my car out, and they had taken everything inside down to even the phone holder. Looking at other reviews, it comes as no surprise.

Avoid at all costs. They damaged a vehicle I purchased from them while bringing it out of the yard. They asked me to provide images and I did and they asked me to get a quote to repair it and I did and no one has contacted me since. It’s been almost 3 months now. No one is willing to help and no one will reply to emails or calls. A manager was supposed to reach out to me and nothing has been done. Over $2,000 in extra repairs needed because their forklift operator damaged the car further.

They never pick up their phones. Bought a car and on the pictures you can see it had the catalytic converters and when the driver went to go pick it up, they didn’t have them anymore. This has happened many times and they never want to be responsible for it. They always say it wasn’t them blah blah blah. I tried to call many times and they never answer.

My car was totalled and towed there. When the insurance company paid them I called IAA and spoke to Rhea to find out how to take my name off the title. I kept getting the run around. She never told me there was another department that handled that. Her supervisor is PJ and would not speak to me. I called and talked to them 4 times. Finally I called the 800 number of the lien department and got an answer right away

Sold a bike to them through another party, they were able to pick it up and send me a check for it once I handed them the title. However they did not give me the check the moment I gave them the title since they claimed it was not in their system. That was a bit fishy but they end up mailing it to me later.

These people tried to auction off my BMW, when my insurance said it was"evaluating the damage". Barely caught it in time; they were going to sell it for $6000, and settle with insurance for $1500, and me for $400. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you are looking to buy a messed up project car.

I bid on a car through IAAI, the pictures posted on-line were different then receiving the car after purchase. Car was damaged front end, posted online also. When picked up the car the car was damaged from every side. Looked like it was maybe damaged after I bid on the vehicle. I want the car with posted pictures of what I was bidding. Will be in contact with corporate and suing! Do not buy from IAAI!!!!!

Thieves. That's all there is to it. My car was dropped off here after a wreck, and when I showed up onsite to clean it out, everything of value had been stolen. They outright lied about not entering the car to begin with, as the car had mildew and rain inside, even though it had only rained after it was brought onto their lot. Thieves and dishonest employees. If you ever get a vehicle towed here, empty it out beforehand.
