Honest, Kind, and Exceptional Service!
I went to TGIF Auto around 8:30 a.m. because my Honda CR-V’s bumper had come loose after being hit in a parking lot. The shop wasn’t open yet, but when Jason, the owner, arrived around 9 a.m., he kindly offered to help right away. His worker fixed the bumper and even pulled out the dent on the rear left side.
By 9:30 a.m., my car looked great and Jason said it was freeway-safe again — and he refused to charge me anything! I was so touched by his honesty and generosity.
It’s rare to find a shop this genuine. Highly recommend Jason and the TGIF Auto team for their professionalism, skill, and big heart.

This is the first public review I’ve ever written, well, because I’m old and was taught that if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. That sums up pretty much every reviewable experience I can remember having, until today. Jason (the owner?) had estimated $150 or so to polish off a scratch and touch up a couple spots where the paint had come off. I came in today, barely had to wait, car came back looking great, and to top it off, Jason wouldn’t let me pay. This family business has been around since 1980 I think and making as much money as possible is not the reason why. Don’t waste your time looking for a hole in the wall that supposedly will cut you a special deal if you pay cash. That’s what I was doing when I drove past TGIF and decided to stop in. Best chance encounter ever.
This is a great body shop and I came here for second time. Owner Chris is awesome, easy to work with and even helping me to remove and put back my child seat with the rental.
I came back despite it is 15 miles away from my house but we came back because Chris shop did a great job on our last repair.
I just got the car back yesterday and they did a great Job again this time.
Anthony is a great guy in the shop to keep me posted and get rentals.

Best body shop in Fremont area. Anthony and Kathy are very friendly. Anthony, as the chief technician, always put my (the car owner) interest first. He would do thorough estimation and gave me advise of what to fix, what not to fix. They also provide a detailed repair estimation. What I like most is Anthony always keeps me updated and he does it in a timely manner. Very professional and considerate. Big thumb-up
Anthony and Jason were great. I came in on a Tuesday and they were able to take my car in and knock out a clear coat repair in the same week. Super kind and professional and they did a great job. My car looks fantastic and they were able to finish the repair quickly. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
My husband took his dad’s car in to get some scratches buffed out, the people there were extremely nice and professional. They did an amazing job and you can’t even tell where the scratches were. They also got it done really fast
Can't recommend this family owned repair shop enough. They take customer service seriously which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to body shops. Not only did they fix up my SUV to look like new (see pic - damage on the rear passenger door was fixed and blended perfectly), they offered to drop me off and pick me up from my home nearby and washed my car for me upon pickup. I have to give a special shout-out to Jason and Anthony who were excellent to work with. While I hope I don't have to use their services again anytime soon, I'll for sure be coming back to TGIF for all my body shop needs and will be going out of my way to refer all my friends and family here.
This is a family owned and operated business that has been around for a very long time. I called and spoke to Jason and explained that I had been rear ended in an accident, He told me i could bring the car down whenever I wanted to. Once there I was greeted very nicely by his mother Kathy. She began helping me with paperwork and answered questions about the process as well as Jason once I talked to him. They were very efficient, professional and knowledgeable. I was referred to them and now I recommend them. They are upfront and I believe genuinely honest.
Excellent customer service. The minute you step in, you feel warm and cozy. Paul has a kind of traditional charm, politeness, and efficiency to him. My visit was smooth and easy, as well as efficient.
I have used this body shop multiple times over the years, and I am always impressed by their friendly, professional, thorough and thoughtful service. They keep their promises, ease the handling of my claims with my insurance company, and always do a thorough job. Amelia, Anthony, and Jason handled my last claim, and others in the past, and they are so friendly it is almost like a family environment. Try them out, you will be glad you did!

The second time I have had a car repaired there. The quality of the work is impeccable and the time it takes is rkreasonabl. What earned them the five stars is their customer service, though. I was offered a ride home after dropping off the car, I got regular updates on the progress of the work, the car was sparkling clean not just on the outside when I picked it up, bus it had been vacuumed, too. And, most I'm of all, the car was ready for pickup when promised. Very satisfied, and although I hope I'll never need their services again, I won't hesitate to give them my business if I need to.
I have been going to this place for years. They have always done a fine job for my vehicle. But this particular instance it was absolutely superior. Their price for a bumper replacement was around $200 less than some competitive bids. They work with me so that they only had to keep my car for single day, where other places wanted it for two days. They did an absolute perfect job of painting a new bumper. Not only that they touched up and polish some areas near the bumper that had some chips so that they no longer show. And finally to This exceptional service, they detailed my car made it look just about like new at no extra charge. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle services to local residents. In their work is guaranteed for the life of the repair. Right now I can't think of any reason that I would take my vehicle for auto body work to anyplace else.
I had taken the car in for repairs. I had been rear ended at a light. The hatchback was all crumpled in. They worked with my insurance company and did a great job.
I recommend this place to anybody that needs an auto body shop. Everyone at TGIF is very helpful and friendly. My car had some major damage on the side pillar and it looked good as new when I got it back.
They don't skimp on repairs or parts and will justify to the insurance company to get you a high quality repair.
