We were in scramble mode towards the end of the year to clear out the warehouse so we could get after inventory and Nick from Left Coast Hauling responded to our inquiry immediately and were able to schedule the removal same day which was above and beyond. Their crews showed up on time as scheduled and were able to reduce the price since the overall load was less than estimated which was appreciated. Keep up the good work LCH.
They came promptly and cleared our driveway of our garage remodel. Also swept up the driveway and made sure the area looked pristine before leaving. The cost was reasonable but more than I expected but that’s just the Bay Area for you.
We could not be happier with our experience with Left Coasr. The communication was excellent, the team who came out and took down our very large chicken coop, run and a planter box full of dirt were fabulous. They were timely. They were quiet They were neat. Nick, Jorge and the team are so wonderful! They helped us out many times at our house in Danville, and have been to our new house in Alamo twice now to help us there. I was a former HOA Board President for 10 years, and I recently was involved in a community volunteer effort for an elderly couple that lost their home to a fire. Their own Townhome insurance policy was terribly under insured, they were financially struggling, and dealing with a homeowner's association that was unsympathetic to their situation.
We needed to secure a service company that could skillfully address the situation with removing all the couple's belongings from the house including many damaged by the fire, and also take the time to safely box up their family mementos so the couple could have the opportunity to save them.
After contacting several service providers in the Tri-Valley area, and given the "scope", their prices did not respectfully consider the couple's circumstances in terms of flexibility on service or price.
I then made an appointment to meet with Nick of Left Coast Hauling. He met with myself and the owner, walked through the house, and most importantly listened and empathized with their situation, and their concern with saving and boxing up as much of their family mementos as possible.
Nick provided a reasonable estimate and was flexible with his scope of services, including considerations for the couple's circumstances.
The day of the project, Left Coast Hauling came with a team of workers and two very large open top container trucks and started to diligently go to work. They carefully boxed up the mementos, and repeatedly checked-in with me and the elderly couple to ensure the right items were saved.
They finished the work for the day in a very timely manner leaving the house well picked up and accommodated.

Nick was quick to reply and provide a quote. Very easy to communicate with him and he was honest and fair. We scheduled a no obligation visit to ensure that his quote was accurate. Although he said that, when his staff arrived with two trucks, it almost felt like I had to move forward with project at that moment in time instead of getting a more accurate quote. Maybe it was my misunderstand that we scheduled for a service. Otherwise, I highly recommend Left Coast Hauling! They were extremely professional and finished the job in 30 minutes - took away about 30 bags filled with wood chips/mulch, mixed with rocks and sand. They left the space clean and even cleaned up the area that the wood chips spilled. Highly recommend their team and they are great with communication.

Great customer service from Nick with estimate/scheduling and Jorge and colleague in removing the heavy awning from the wall mounting and hauling away. Used them twice. In 2019 during the lab/office move to clear out lab work stations in and 2025 during the departure (office furniture only). They were fast and efficient and the estimate of truckload/worker time was essentially correct. Thanks Nick!
Needed to remove PILES of old backyard gardening debris, old furniture, and cleaned out two sheds. Our backyard has limited and narrow access but Left Coast finished removing all the loose debris/trash very quickly, cleaned everything up like it was their own backyard, and was far more reasonable financially than getting an encroachment permit from the City ($$$) to drop a bin in the street for a week ($$) and possibly go over in weight ($$$). LCH made it all go away in one morning so we could enjoy the backyard that afternoon. Crews were respectful, quiet, clean, and quick. My company is closing our Fremont office and moving the operations back to Ohio. I looked up Left Coast Hauling to help with removal of cubicles and other junk. The owner, Nick, came to give me an assessment and quotation the next day. He was responsive, courteous and gave me a fair price for the job. So, my company decided to hire Left Coast and scheduled a date for the job.
A crew of three people (Jorge, Carlos and Eddy) called ahead to let me know the arrival time. When they arrived, they were professional and friendly. They introduced themselves and went to work. They were efficient and effective in breaking down cubicles, separating the debris and hauling them away. They also hauled away a second full truck of debris from my warehouse.
I can't be more pleased by Nick, Jorge, Carlos and Eddy for the work they did. Really helped finish a big job for me.
