I was told that a used seatbelt for my 1993 Lexus was available and it was in excellent condition and could be shipped soon. I was disappointed when it arrived because it was weathered and stained from long exposure to the weather and the metal parts were corroded as well. Also, the retraction mechanism did not work smoothly because of water getting inside. I think it is from a different year car because it looks different and has some electrical connections that my old seatbelt does not have. I won’t know if it actually fits until I try to install it.
I realize that this is a 30-year-old part and I am fortunate to get it. However but I paid a lot of money for it and I didn’t expect it had been exposed to years of weather and neglect.
On the plus side it was well packed and arrived in about 10 days from the East coast.
I can give only 3 stars because of the condition and questionable fit.
