Takes a wide range of items like cardboard, glass, tires, and oils. Unfortunately, they are only open M/W/F with limited hours. Would be nice to have more access to drop stuff off like all the other cities in the area do.
Convenient location to recycle a wide range of items. Items such as glass, plastic bags, cardboard, tin cans and batteries can be recycled for free. Fluorescent bulbs and electronics have a small charge. Thanks for the friendly service and providing a sustainable option for the community!
Wonderful Recycling Center! The men that work there are nice and helpful! Great place to recycle glass bottles, flattened boxes, batteries, plastic lids, etc. Thank you guys for providing this for our community!
I want to thank the staff who works there. Yes, the hours are limited,but
it is understandable. They, btw accept more items than other towns in NWA. These days it is not simple to find a business willing to partner with and pick items besides basic ones, such as aluminum, plastic 1 &2, and cardboard. This station takes the effort to find partners for more. Love their used clothes option (not everything can be donated).
wish they were open at least one weekend day. Also, wish they collected more items (#5 plastics) and Clamshells. the latter depends on recycling streams, I know. sometimes hard to throw the cardboard in the big gated trailors. overall, not a bad facility.
Recycling center is super simple but helpful when we have tons of cardboard to recycle haha. Only open Mon/Wed/Fri. You pull in and sort everything yourself. There are trailers for cardboard. Dumpsters for glass. And inside the building are different bins for water bottles and such.
Arrived wanting to dispose of old tires on our property. The man inside was a jerk about the size of the tires and kept telling us it'd cost a lot, for whatever reason? Instructed us to pull over to the trailer where we'd unload the tires and stack them. He then began exclaiming how he wanted them to be stacked. He kept bossing us around and being a total tool for no reason, "One of you needs to unload them while the other stacks them and pushes them up front and stack them in a WEAVE pattern". I'm not 5 you lunatic. You're getting paid to do absolutely nothing and being a prick to customers. I will give someone else my money to help dispose of tires properly next time. This lazy guy needs to be fired or have an attitude change. I'm not a fighter or one to get upset easy but I really wanted to tell him how sorry he was treating customers.
