Loaded here today on 4/11/25. Staff was very friendly. It is tight back by the dock but very doable. The staff that works the yard will spot you in to the dock. Scale on site is accurate with in a 100lbs. Will definitely load here again.

UPDATE: Apparently the owner thinks all anyone takes there is tin/shred. They obviously did not read carefully my entire review. I clearly stated we had 450 pounds of STEEL. I have pictures of the steel we took there. Two 6’ steel rails; and a solid steel harp from a grand piano circa 1864. Even the guy that unloaded it in the yard asked what it was and we told him it was from an old piano. I know that guy knows it wasn’t tin!
BEWARE! If you want to be ripped off like we were today.then go to Vaughn’s recycling in Fayetteville. We brought in 500 pounds of metal, 450 pounds of our total was steel. We were paid out for TIN at 0.05¢ per pound. $25!! When we complained to the woman at the desk inside she said “It’s just a classification we use..saying its tin”. No lady, it isn’t just a classification when you are paying out for Tin at 0.05¢ per pound!! Biggest rip-offs and they know they are doing customers wrong. I only wish i could give negative stars! Unfortunately I have to give them 1 just to post.
some of the best people to deal with they pay fair prices they are easy to work with if you have any questions about any type of scrap from copper wire to tractors they help u un load if u need it they are really good people i wont do bussiness with any other place than here they treat thier customers right
I came in one day with one decent sized chunk of insulated copper wire and got 20$ for it, seeing the potential for profits, I decided to allow my metals to accumulate and spent several hours stripping my wires. But when I went back, it was obvious that the weights were being torn because I know what 20 lbs weighs being someone that works out and my 30 + lbs of copper wire came out to 18. The clean aluminum was the biggest red flag because he weighed it in the plastic bin that it was in which is a couple lbs like, obviously you're not just going to give me free weight. I'll be preweighing before coming in for now on
This place is really tiny to maneuver the truck and back to the dock. But the workers are very nice guys they assist me with backing . Great team work and nice attitude. Thank you
I go hear atleast once every day if not up to 3 times a day they have the best prices in town and everyone working there is awesome people hell Boone has watched me grow up pretty much everyone there is amazing people keep up the good work guys
This is the only place me and my husband take our metal the employees are nice respectful and hard working, we have taken things here since they opened up and have never been treated unfair great prices. For those of you who bash these guys cause you think they are rude were probably in some since rude to them they have and should get the utmost respect they work in the heat and cold to unload your metal and the rain. Prices also very based on the fact that things in the economy change and if u get a lower price then normal think about that.
We brought our cans when it had barely begun to lightly sprinkle. The cans weren't wet, and the guys unloading never said a word. The lady ripped us off by paying wet rates. Never again. Ozark Steel is better and more honest. Take your business there.
Seriously... these guys bust their butts all day every day! They help unload your trash and give you money for it! I remember turning in cans as a kid to them. They will always have my business. Make sure you don't show up right before lunch... Be real, non of us like being late to lunch and they don't get to just show up late after wards because then people wouldn't have the great service they provide on the times they post. 10 minutes till 1 is not a good idea!
My boyfriend and his brother went there to turn in cans and they were rude as hell to them! They said they red flagged them because we accidentally had a broom head in there. They were rude and obnoxious! We will not ever waste our money or gas to give you low lifes business again! Sucky customer service!
