Over one year ago, I traveled to Kansas to meet my wife’s family and in Arkansas. I had a transmission issues and I stopped at this man shop and he got me back on the road here. It is a year later and the work that he has done Still has me going very recommended very respectful and honest people if I didn’t live so far away, I’d use them Every time needed

They took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle and gave me upfront pricing with no hidden surprises. Im very unhappy with this transmission shop my truck has been to this shop 5 times after they built the tranmission the first time and kept it a week at a time not only that they drove my truck like they was on a race track when test driving it also the last time my truck was at their shop they put a used transmission in my truck and told me that it was my original transmission just rebuilt. Thats not a way to run a shop

Dude is nothing but a scammer. Had my truck for thirty days never even looked at. He said it was supposed to be a one hour job. He owns a business and will not answer the phone. Unprofessional !BEWARE!!! He uses used parts. Transmission won't last a week

Austin is awesome. He went the extra mile on my transmission replacement. I dropped my van off on friday morning and he called me that afternoon to tell me the job was finished. You can't get any faster service than that. Fair prices and great people to work with at A & J transmissions, I'll be giving them a call again when i need repairs ?

Austin has always been extremely swift with diagnosing and executing the repair of any of my vehicles. Over the past 10+ years I have owned a Tahoe, Escalade, & Avalanche and anytime I have ever had an issue of any kind; I was ? satisfied with both the service and the price. As a woman, I have always been an absolute ball of vulnerability when it comes to vehicle issues and I have learned to not only trust Austin’s work and expertise but depend upon it! I cannot give him enough praise!

The transmition fluid on my 2018 Chevy Silverado started over heating while driving through Arkansas on our way to Kansas. AJ Transmission's fixed us up and got us all the way there and back to Florida, no problems!! If you're having a transmission issue, go there. Honest and fair pricing.

Still shopping around for the cheapest way to get the transmission either rebuilt or replaced on my Yukon XL. This place was well worth the stop to see about prices. My son-in-laws grandfather is paying for the repair so don't know if it will do me any good shopping around?

Had a 2018 ford escape with a terrible vibration in the front end. Two separate shops diagnosed it as the torque converter, decided to take it to A&J since they specialize in transmissions. Not only where they quick with letting me know what was wrong and when parts would be in but it ended up being just a bad cv axle. A&J is honest and professional, got it done in a timely manner. Will definitely be using them in the future for all of our vehicles.

A&J transmission shop in Austin Arkansas has done all the work on my first and now currently my second truck that I own and have done an amazing job from transmission work to replacing breaks and etc there the best in the business and do fast and great work no complaints about any work they have done for me definitely would check them out if your needing work done on your vehicle they can get ya fixed up and back on the road in no time

3/28/24 the transmission was replaced in my 2017 Tahoe after 129,500 miles. The last three weeks I have driven 3,000 miles without any issues or concern that a problem may arise with a rebuilt transmission from A&J. ... The service was amazing. The mechanics were very helpful. I need my car for work and they serviced my Tahoe in 24 hours. Highly recommend. Thank you.

These guys are great! They will be beat anyone's cost and work to make sure everything is perfect. I had a few glitches after a transmission swap and they gladly took it back in and repaired everything. I will use them again.

Took my husbands truck there to have some work down and they had it in and out. Did have a transmission oil leak next morning when we woke up. We called them and they got it back in and fixed in no time has been great since. Thank you for getting him back on the road.

Steer clear of this place! Not only did they rebuild my transmission wrong the first time but again the second time. I tried giving them a chance to fix their mistake but they failed. 24hrs after getting it back the 2nd time it was leaking transmission fluid. I immediately took it to a shop and he ran the transmission codes. LESS THAN 24HRS after getting it back, it has 3 codes. I have a detailed description of what's wrong with it and my lawyer is filing the lawsuit after the holiday.

Transmission rebuild for my 2008 F150 4.6L, perfect. Jut got the truck and you can't even feel shifting gears. Price was very good and time of fixing it was super too. I got 1 year warranty for the job and we share the towing service payment couz my truck far awayfrom there. I will recommend my friends this place. Hope this comment helps someone else too.

I know absolutely nothing about my truck. Nothing. Turns out I can't even change my own flat tire (Ask me how I know!) It would be so easy to take advantage of my ignorance. I am thankful to have found Austin. I trust him. Never once has he tried to gouge me. He has fixed manufacturing defects, replaced things due to wear and tear and performs all maintenance issues. Great shop and people to use Highly Recommended I’ve taken I’ve 20+ transmissions to him and there always done on time and he’s a man of his word he does the best he can to please the customer would not take my transmissions anywhere else best in the business

I had a bad oil leak from a bad oil change. They got me in quick and fixed the issues quick. They had great communication and went above and beyond expectations! 10/10

This shop is awesome , I took my moms car to them to have the transmission replaced. They not only confirmed that the transmission failure they also informed us of what caused the failure. They showed us the parts that failed in the transmission and kept all tho parts that were replaced so we could inspect the worn parts. They completed the job ahead of schedule and even did a follow-up call to see if I had any concerns that they could address for me. This is rare with repair shops today. The customer service and workmanship is exceptional at this shop. I will be taking my vehicles to this shop for years to come. If you are in need of a great and honest repair shop look no further this is the one to go to. Thank you guys for a job well done!!

I brought my vehicle in with an issue. It was resolved very quickly and was reasonably priced. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
