I have always supported the Dealerships because I was always expecting excellent, professional and quality service, recognizing I could have the work done for less money. In the past this is level of service received from the dealerships I dealt with in Oklahoma (Wagoner) and Arkansas (Charleston).
Unfortunately that last two(2) times I have used HUG in Charleston the experience has been less than stellar. On my 1st maintenance (5500 miles) for my 2025 GMC they failed to fill my DEF as part of the standard procedure until I called it to their attention. The second (2) time I was in for my standard maintenance (12000 miles) they were telling me they recommend replacing the cabin air filter and the fuel filter. After questioning this (only due to the low mileage) they indicated there is a gauge that tells them that in the dash. I found that info, and that indicated it was at 64%.
My concern now is how much upselling are they doing !
My support of dealerships is now in question.
Thanks Hug Service for the quick and friendly service. I had an unfortunate flat tire today. I brought it in with no appointment. They got right on it and had it fix quickly. Technician Dalton advised me of the puncture in the tire and was able to patch. Also I was able to use my GM reward point to pay for the repair. Hug service made my unfortunate day a much better day. Top notch, excellent experience. You never want to take your vehicle in for repairs or service, but they are always courteous and professional. They just do it right!
We will only go to Hug!! Excellent service department customer service, excellent automotive service! I appreciate that they keep our vehicles in tip to shape. I’ve never been made to feel like what I’m hearing from my vehicle is all in my head. Early detection and service is the key.
