Terrible and unprofessional towing company. The driver who took my trailer told me directly: “If you want to get your trailer back right now, you have to bring seven hundred plus dollars in cash. It has to be cash. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait.”
This kind of demand feels like extortion. They don’t care about the driver, the freight, or the situation — only about squeezing cash out of people in vulnerable moments. No honest business should operate this way. Truck drivers, beware of this company.
This towing company works together with the security guard at the gas station in a shady scheme. They target truck drivers, have trailers towed even if they are only parked for a short time, and then demand huge amounts of cash to release them quickly. The security guard and this company clearly operate hand-in-hand, taking advantage of drivers who are just trying to do their jobs. Truckers, be warned — this is a trap.
We agreed that the total price is 650$ , when he has been finish towing, he sent me a bill for 718$, this man is classis cheater, trash man, get away as far as possible from this company.

They recently recovered a truck from the company I work for and they stored it until the company figured out how they wanted to navigate. The office manager is very knowledgeable and HONEST about EVERYTHING and willing to work with however a company or driver decides to handle whatever situation that put them in need of this company and its services..

The tow driver helped me out a lot towed me 30 miles to a dealer to get a cpu system fixed the other one didn’t have the time so he brought us there they a very helpful
Writing this review to help out A-1 Wrecker and Diesel's ratings, since they are unfortunately being dragged down with the other A-1 towing due to a similar name. This company is not affiliated with the predatory A-1 towing that many of you have seen in the news. As I small business owner myself I can understand the devastation this has caused to this company.
I wasn't a victim of their scam operation luckily. Almost though. Pulled into an empty parking lot to park for my 10. Luckily I pulled in during the day and I noticed a sign after I parked. I walked over and read the sign and paid to park as instructed. No signs entering lot, and sign was not visible at night for trucks entering after dark. 4 trucks total in the truck lot as I left at 2am. Word has gotten around and you are ruining business for a lot of these places. Seriously, just make the signs visible and enough of them. Not a big deal. If we don't pay after all that then that's on us and we understand that. But booting trucks that honestly didn't see the pay for parking is just wrong. As the owner of this business, you are directly putting your employees in danger. Have some self respect and respect for others seriously.
This scammers need to be placed out of business. Call the local jurisdiction if you get illegally towed /booted by this thieves. Don’t let it steal your hard earned money.
Memphis law states your not allowed to charge more than $75 to remove a boot. They charged me and 5 other trucks $400 to remove a boot that was put on illegally while on a private property that they have no authority on. They already had their boot privileges suspended for this and they are doing it again.
Used for a tow Eddie was fantastic whatever he is paid should be doubled he went above and beyond I usually don't leave reviews I think this is actually the first thanks again Mr. Eddie!!!!
The man that owns the place he is very rude and disrespectful I will never give him any business and u made a nice piece of change and got an attitude talking to people any kind of way I do not recommend this place at all. He hangs up in your face when he get mad somebody trying to find out information. I bet if my dad or babydaddy or brother cousin any man was around you would not talk to a woman like that .
Do not use them for a semi truck tow. Very unprofessional. Did not listen to the cirumstances of my situation. Had to keep calling to make sure they where coming. Once they finally get there after 3 hours they tell me they couldn’t tow me. Waste of time!
Unprofessional isn't the word. Waited 2 hours just to find out I wouldn't get serviced. Requested for roadside assistance for a tow, they didn't even bother to contact me to cancel or communicate. My insurance provider and myself called MULTIPLE times. MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO ANSWER!!.. NO STARS IF I COULD!
Guy told me $450 over the phone. Driver comes out, gets stuck so now my tow truck needed a tow truck and I got charged $550. Don’t bother with this trash company
This staff is top notch. These guys are the best of the best. Towed me in and repaired the damage to my truck on the same day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very talented at what they do for a living.

Staff didn't know they had the towed car i was looking for.. was told twice by phone that they didn't have it and when i went there in person they gave me the paperwork for someone else's car!!! Staff was Alsob rude.
They quoted us $475 for 17 miles of towing and at the end told us $546, when I refused the ripoff treat us of taking the truck to they yard forcing us to pay. Never use them again,owner operators please stay away from these crooks they will also rip you off and flat lie on your face. Never never never stay away,use some one else.
Sent me 2 bad transmissions so the next step was to send parts back to them for a credit. They gave me a really hard time on getting the labels printed to return parts, and made some unreasonable request of me on how to ship the parts back, Gilbert was very rude and difficult to work with, he did everything but cuss me out. I had to call in for four days in order to get a return label to be able to return the 2 parts. They only gave me a 50% credit in the beginning, i had to call them again about the second credit and they acted surprised when i called in, then finally gave me the full credit i was owed, if i would have not double checked my records, do you think i would have ever received the second credit? likely not. This process cost me a ton of money and time moving these heavy parts around.
A-1 Wrecker Service of West Memphis is an Outstanding company with awesome customer service. Tow truck driver, Allen was a true professional when my semi truck trailers right rear wheels slid into a farm ditch. Causing an almost disastrous day for my trailer and possibly myself. A-1 arrived quickly and professionally righted my trailer back onto the road saving my trailer/cargo.
I can not say enough "Thank You's" to Allen and A-1 for saving the day.
