I feel like this shop tried to take advantage of me from the beginning. I came in because an airline hose going to the brake chamber needed to be replaced. The issue was clearly visible, and I pointed it out right away. However, they insisted on charging a one-hour diagnostic fee of $225 before doing anything, even though the problem was already identified.
In the end, I paid $421 for about an hour and a half of work. The hose itself cost $50, and they also added $31 for shop supplies, which seems excessive for such a simple repair.
Out of curiosity, I also asked how much they charge for a DOT inspection. Normally, at places like Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores or TA Travel Centers, a DOT inspection is usually around $75. Surprisingly, they sent me an invoice for more than $364 for about an hour and a half of labor just for the annual inspection.
In my opinion, these prices are unreasonable and not fair to drivers. I believe other truckers should be aware before deciding to stop here.
We had a pair of Iron Bull Bumpers and a front winch installed on our 2021 Ram truck.
Our experience has been 5 star all the way, from our initial contact with dispatch to set up the install to our personal contact with Jessica A and Alex who did the install.
Alex did a beautiful job, walked us through the winch use after the install was completed and as we requested he kept our original bumpers, packed them in the truck even returning the original hardware.
Jessica kept us informed of the truck status along the way. She even offered to pick us up and bring us to the shop so we could get our truck. No hesitation recommending Murphy’s Diesel. A great group of people.
And thanks Rick and Nikki for picking up our bumpers when you picked up your bumpers for the Freedom 550.

Our rental car broke down and the rental company wouldn’t help us. Called Murphy’s towing, they were very prompt. We were stuck in the middle of the road on a hill. Jason was incredibly skilled and very helpful. Dropped us off exactly where we need to be. Pointed out restaurants and good hotels for us to stay at while the car was getting sorted out. Westbound on the 40 freeway, I had a flat tire in the tandems as I was climbing up in the Cosconino Forest towards Flagstaff. I intend to pass it before the snow storm gets any worse as I was aiming for the new TA in Ash Fork. To my dismay, this location has no truck shop! But just half a mile away is another newcomer in the area - Murphy’s Truck Repair and Towing. I wasted no time and turned around to that dirt road beside Shell. I was attended to right away and in a short amount of time, I was back on the road! Big thank you to Alan who did the quick fix and shoutout to pretty Jessica A for making the experience seamless and convenient. Thank y’all at Murphy’s! You guys are the best!!
Had a tire split wheel blowout while trying to make a really tight schedule, and by some great luck managed to end up right next to this Towing yard. They gave an ETA and arrived faster than expected. Watching how these guys use tools its clear they really know what they're doing. Was confident in the tires after having them work on them.
Of course I found out my Prius Prime didn’t come with a spare. And of course my tire wouldn’t hold the air I was inflating it with. So at 2:30 am I contacted Murphys Towing through the Geico app. I was 10 minutes away from the nearest gas station, which seriously blows. But Jesse W came and towed my vehicle away like a champ. And of course it’s one of the coldest days of the year. So thanks for great service.

Blown tire in the middle of i40. I’m glad I was able to get to this shop. As soon as I arrived, Elissa at the service desk, started to assist me real quick, with the estimate and availability. In less than an hour I was being serviced. Allan my technician did an awesome job. And keep in mind it was Sunday!!… so not bad at all. I highly recommend this shop, because one thing truckers appreciate is time. And they really make sure you come in and out ASAP!!
I want to give a huge shoutout to these guy I had an issue with a vehicle. Was out low on cash and stopped by and asked if we could leave a truck in their yard for a week . They told me that it would be fine and allowed us to leave the truck and continue with our move to Oklahoma. Thanks again wrecker Rick and your crew

Great experience with Jessica at the new building front desk. She took me (the adjuster) to the impound yard to show me the semi tractor I needed to inspect for an insurance claim. She was friendly and informative. Thank you!
We were connected to Murphy's through our insurance roadside assistance after our car broke down on the highway outside of Williams. Jason picked up our car, got it to the shop, and went out of his way to make sure my family got safely into town. He made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Jessica A., Michael B., and Elissa, you guys are amazing people. Got into a nasty pileup on a big cross country move with my husband and my car was totaled. They helped me get my harps out of the SUV, allowed us to leave our trailer in the yard overnight, and helped us move all our stuff to a rental car. You can’t ask for better help when everything is chaos. Friendly faces, capable hands, incredible support. There’s a reason AZ state police has a good working relationship with them. If you need a tow, Murphys is the way to go!
Had my Country Coach break down just west of Ash Fork right after Thanksgiving and these guys were able to come out and tow me to their facility. I was not a fan of their YouTube Channel nor had i ever heard of them before this. Had no idea who Wrecker Rick was but none the less they got me sorted. Turns out my PTO Pump for my power steering and fan went out. They don't normally work on these types of vehicles so I located the part myself in the UK. Their lot had a lot of turn over for semi's but not many RV's. I left the coach there and flew out to work and returned once i had the part in hand. James, the shop foreman was very direct and was transparent through the whole process. The shop was brand new a clean. A big shout out to the whole team, James, Jessica A, Michael, Fenner, Violet, Cody and Poncho for the assists and hospitality. 10/10 would let them service my coach anytime. Thanks Guys!
Jesse was great. Got out to me in a timely manner. Got the problem diagnosed, unfortunately to big of a job to fix roadside. He got me hooked with a tow so I was able to get going again. Great roadside customer service.
Got stuck in some nasty unit 10 mud on the last day of a cow hunt. Called Murphys, took longer than expected because I was off the grid, but Chris B. found us and got us out out quickly. Highly recommend.
These guys are the best! I rolled in pulling a 40' 5th wheel RV and my truck had a flat on the outside dual. The tire shop fixed my tire right away with a great attitude. A tire shop in Saligman told me to wait until Monday because he didn't want to work on Saturday morning. I called Murphys and they said bring it and we'll fix you up. America is a better place with Murphys towing company. I just can't say enough good things about these guys. Thank you again

Murphys Diesel save the day! We had a busted airbag in Williams, AZ and to make things worse the airbag was china crap! ! Cody was awesome. He was super experienced and was able to get the old one off and was able to repair me enough to get back up to Flagstaff from Williams where I was able to have fixed and back on the road! Excellent customer and tow service. It was late in the morning and we had what we thought was a shot radiator. Mr.Fenner was there quick, hooked us up quick and got us to the Loves 8 miles away. I would highly recommend. Thank you again, for the quickness to react.
A 20 foot all tree fell onto our camp trailer in the middle of the forest after a monsoon hit. Wrecker Rick and his wife Nikki came out that night to assess the damages. The following morning they went back to the site to tackle the mission. Rick went out on a limb or stump rather to cut off some of the trees overhang to lighten the load so Hell Boy could gracefully lift the remaining tree and OG Wrecker Rick could pull the trailer out from under it. Meanwhile all this is going on, the camera crew (Nikki) is in the middle of it all getting the perfect angles for the shots! Hands down the best recovery company out there. Guaranteed any other towing company would not have gone through what these folks did to help us out. Truly grateful to the Murphys Towing family!!
