Goodyear Tire in Goodyear, Arizona has brought on some talented managers that know the tire industry and the repair industry. When you go in for tires or auto repair they have you covered. Just their two main managers have 57 years experience and that says a lot when it comes to taking care of your vehicle. So far I have had great experiences the couple of times I have gone there for tires and service. Right now I would not think of going anywhere else for my tires or my vehicles services.
I took my car to the shop and I advised that I was told that my alternator was bad. They took my recommendation and replaced the alternator without even testing the original. I went and picked up my car and everything was fine that day. The next day my Wife tries to start her car and it won't start. I jump the car and take it back to the shop and they test both the battery and alternator and say both are fully operational. I take the car back home thinking that maybe it was a fluke but the car did not start again the next day. I took the car back and was told that they don't know what else to tell me, but to take the car to the dealership. I spent $1000 on an alternator, only to be told they can't do anything further for me. I feel scammed and will not be going back. Just an FYI, my car is still not starting.
The whole experience there was great. Very convenient, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. So grateful to have found a good mechanic in my area.
Drove in and said I needed an oil change. 40 minutes later I was on my way. Not like making an appointment and still having to wait. Saw them check tire pressure and tread depth and put a plastic seat cover and floor mat on the driver's side. Removed both upon completion. Excellent service

My lady needed her tire changed asap after driving over a screw of some sort. We called a few places that were hard to communicate with or had long wait times. I called and spoke with RC who was prompt, polite & he said there would not be a long wait. RC gave us options for different pricing and tires. We went to change the tire and Randall changed the tire quickly.

As I had a low tire that appeared as if it was ready to pop ... pulled into this establishment and R.C. was very polite and helpful ..left car overnight next day had 4 brand new tires..the other 2 gentleman Randall and Chad engaged me in my banter, very kind and helpful also. So I have been coming here prior for 5 years. I took my 2023 Suburban for its first alignment to them a few months back2 months… over that time it was making noise popping etc slight shake developed. They blew me off.
I took it to Firestone a couple miles away and what they found was beyond explanation. The lower bolts on my lower control arms was not properly tightened. Ended up sheeting off the guide pins on lower camber adjustment do to them shifting. The passenger side was bent. Sent me to the dealer. They did a full inspection and found that do to the shifting the tie rods went bad and stripped. The lower arms needed to be completely replaced along with all the hardware. The pins need to be pressed out from the frame and replaced. The y basically replaced the entire front lower suspension.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM!!! If I did not get the majority covered by extended warranty I would have been out thousands of dollars. It still costing me $900. Do place your safety you life in these incompetent people’s hands.

They are convenient because close to my job but first I paid them 100 just to pull my window up when something broke. Which was a deal they originally was going to charge me 190. The window didn't even stay up for an hour. I taped it all up then had them order the part to put it in and had them do an oil change. Quotes me 350 over the phone for all of it. I ask them if they can see why my window washing fluid won't come out. They call me and tell me I need a new battery that will be 219 and it will be 190 for them to see whats going on with the window washing fluid, not to fix it, to see whats wrong. I passed on the battery I can find that elsewhere for 219 and put it on myself. In the end it was 310 when I left but if I did everything they wanted we wouldn't been over 600-700. Really? I don't mind paying you to fix things but 190 to tell me what is wrong? I like to go to mechanics that are looking out for their customers not trying nickel and dime you to death.
What is the point of making an appointment? 2 hour wait for an oil change? Short staff?? Sounds like a "you" problem. Didn't look like they were earning their paycheck BTW.
Wouldn't be going here if this wasn't a Lyft rental.

I went in for new tires since mine was unrepairable. They found a match for what I have ( not Goodyear) and got it in the shop in less than a day. The staff were helpful and I felt I got a fair price. I will be going back if I need tires.
I brought my 99 Suburban C1500 in September 2023 for an alignment as I had the 3 year free alignment deal with them. They spent about three hours with the car up on the alignment rack and the tech told me "well, we've got it pretty close but we can't get it 100% because something is binding in the steering gear." So I had to make a minor repair to the idler arm bracket before bringing the car back in to attempt another aligmnent. This time they said they couldn't get the wheels aligned perfectly because I had excessive wear in the upper control arm bushings. The car was still pulling to the right. Over the next weekend I replaced both upper control arms and once again returned to Goodyear for an alignment. The tech spent about four hours struggling to align the wheels before finally telling me everything is OK. I drove home via the 101 freeway here in Phoenix, taking the car up to about 70 mph only to notice immediately that it was still pulling to the right. The next day I took the car to Network Alignment and was told by their manager (Scott) that all the bolts used to adjust the car's alignment were loose and the cotter pins had not been replaced by the Goodyear tech the day before. He actually said that he might need to charge me extra labor to restore the front end to normal since the Goodyear tech never finished his work properly the day before. And to think I was driving at highway speeds after leaving the Goodyear place....if I'd had an accident or been killed you can imagine the lawsuit that would result. Scott also told me that the Goodyear techs had been unable to align my car's wheels because they had not removed the upper control arm "knockouts" which prevent the alignment bolts from achieving full travel during the alignment process. And Goodyear brags about how "thoroughly trained" their techs are!! After removing the knockouts, the techs at Network Alignment had my wheels aligned in about 45 minutes and the car drives nice and straight now. I'll never go to Goodyear for anything in the future. They clearly don't know their jobs and will lie to your face telling you, "You're all set," when in reality they have set you up for a serious accident......
I went into the Goodyear Auto Center located on the corner of Litchfield and Western in Goodyear Arizona to purchase a set of tires and I've got to tell you that I am completely satisfied with the service that I received. From the sales Manager, to the Service Manager to Store Manager.....true definition of customer service with a full intent of ensuring that I walked away fully satisfied!
The guys out back that performed the work did an outstanding job on top of all of that. My car again rides as smooth as it did when I first purchased it.... meaning they paid attention to detail ensuring that each tire was balanced to perfection!

Chad, Rich and Tristan helped me about 10 days ago. I needed an alignment, the AC system checked, along with all fluids checked on my 2002 Pontiac TransAm WS6. Tristan and Rich were my techs and treated me well. All three men were knowledgeable and took great care of my car. After a bad experience at Discount Tires I looked at yelp/google reviews and finally decided on Goodyear Auto Service at this location. I'm glad I did, they were awesome. Richard was super helpful and took the time to understand what I was trying to get done (swapping wheels, transferring TPMS sensors, etc) on my Tesla Model 3. I was concerned about getting it up on a lift because the entire undercarriage houses the battery and I've heard some horror stories of damage when not lifted according to "Tesla's guidelines". But Jose our installer did a great job all around. He took the time to thoroughly go through everything (even double checking w/ the Tesla guidelines in the manual), did a test-fit of the front wheels to make sure I didn't have any clearance issues, and got everything done perfectly. Couple weeks later I've had no issues at all. Both Richard and Jose went out of their way to proactively communicate any issues/concerns while most shops would have just slapped on the wheels and sent me on my way. During the short wait, Richard showed me on a set of Goodyear tires with a protective lip that will help reduce the chances of curb rash when my wife (inevitably) curbs my new wheels. I'm definitely switching to these when the current Michelin tires are done. Highly recommended, I'll have all our cars serviced here moving forward.
The Goodyear Tire store in Goodyear Arizona replaced the RR tire on my Challenger R/T this morning and it was an excellent experience. Fast, courteous and pleasant people are what they hired at this location.
