I typically don’t take the time to give a review on a company or its employees. I think that my return business speaks volumes. However, I am compelled based on not only a company going way above and beyond but also the multiple employees who clearly care about the customer as much if not more than the paycheck that puts food on the table.
I have had a run of bad luck lately with used car purchases. 6 months ago I bought a 2012 Ford Escape and within was 45 miles from the point of purchase the car overheated. I argued with the seller and he just hung up and blocked the call. I was furious and nd feeling like I had been conned. Eventually the heat was getting the better of me and I decided to call Sell Us Your car. From the moment I called the representatives were friendly and professional despite my endless rants. I was just about to hang up and say thank you when Allen showed up.
He stepped out of the truck with an ice cold bottled water and asked if was okay, offered to have me sit in his air conditioned truck to cool down and listened to my extremely bad experience. Afterwards he asked me what I wanted to do and tactfully asked me if I still wanted to sell my car. He smiled and said. “You don’t have to make the decision now and if you need a ride I would be happy to help you.” I accepted the $1400 offer and the ride home. On the way he offered to buy me a meal that I gratefully accepted.
The next day the office manager followed up to ask me how I was doing and if they could be of any help. All I could say was that I was thankful that I had called to Sell Us Your Car. They made me feel like a friend rather than a customer and I hopefully won’t ever have to call them again but I will, just see how they are doing and I will proudly refer them to my neighbors and family. I needed parts for my car and found these folks inventory on facebook marketplace. Text back a forth a few times put down a deposit and took a drive saved money and time with the parts already pulled and ready to be loaded in my truck. They made me a offer for my car . When the driver arrived. He said my car had a aftermarket catalytic converterand would only give me 150 for my car. Saying Factory converters don't have heat shields . Having worked in the automotive business as a store manager for Penske Auto and Firestone. I knew he was wrong.. Crawled under my car looked up the number right on the bottom of the converter and confirmed it is the original converter. Not sure if this is a oversight or done on purpose to low ball me . Beware of this if you want to sell your car !
