Was told 79 mins. Never called. When I called to ask they said they "couldn't find me". But never called to say they weren't coming. Every time I would call they just kept saying 20 mins. Then just stopped answering. Said he will "turn his truck around" when he was clearly in an office. Left a single woman stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours
Goldstar Star towing is not reputable.just after one of their tow trucks was dispatched to recover my vehicle their vehicle broke down leaving us without our vehicle for over a day and a half. They also wouldn't answer our calls when we call to inquire about our vehicle they gave us the runaround. They promised to have our vehicle to us in the morning but here we sit at 6 at night and another tow company had to bring we had to drag it off of his tow truck onto their tow truck because they didn't have the keys. All I know I wouldn't recommend to service any further or anyone else
They do not answer their phone. I couldn't even leave a message, mailbox is full. I've called from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. went to their adress and its a residential address. Wanted to get items out of my car and unable to locate them through phone, address and there's no website available. Feeling worried for my vehicle and my belongings! If I could give them a zero I would.
This was my first tow truck experience. I woke up this morning to all four of my tires without air. I called my insurance company and they dispatched for a tow truck. This was at 8:43AM and I was not expected to have the tow truck be there until about 10:13AM. Still no tow truck at the expected time..had to wait another 20-30 minutes. I gave the driver instructions on what to do with my truck. 1pm rolls around and I receive a call from the person who was supposed to receive my truck stating they haven't gotten it yet. I call the driver and he informs me he dropped it off at a place across the street...AND DIDN'T BOTHER TO CALL ME BEFOREHAND TO LET ME KNOW OF THE DILEMMA. I call him back to see if he can go pick it up and drop it off at the correct location and he proceeds to tell me that it is NOT his problem. Unbelievable and absolutely unprofessional. Goldstar towing will NEVER have business from me.
Worst tow truck company ever, I called Geico roadside assistance, and they called this tow truck company, and guaranteed that they would be here within an hour, and hour past and called them, and they said at a minimum it would be another 45 min, and waited and waited for a couple of hours, think they were tired of me calling and when I called again, they wouldn't answer my phone call, so i left a message to cancel the tow, and called another tow truck company. If I had the option to give this company a 0 star rating I would.
I would give a lesser rating if I possibly could this is the absolute worst tow truck company ever do not use them no matter what cancel and use someone else I waited 2 hours and they cancelled right at the deadline
WORST WORST EXPERIENC EVER!!! TOW TRUCK OWNER NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO BE A LIL MORE PROFESSIONAL AN FIX HIS OWN TOW TRUCKS. THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN MORE TIMES THAN I CAN REMEMBER WHILE I WAS A PASSANGER I WAITED OVER TWO HOURS FOR A 1HOUR ESTIMATE. THE TRUCKS TURNED OFF ABOUT 4 TIMES JUST WHILE PLACING THE CAR ON TGE BED. THE OWNER WAS SUPER RUDE. THE DRIVER WAS VERY NICE BUT THE OWNER NEEDS TO RE-EVALUATE HIS PEOPLE SKILLS I WILL NEVER RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.. IF U WANT CRAPPY SERVICE AND TO BE TREATED LIKE SKUM I SUGGEST THIS SO CALLED HELPFUL BIZZNESS. WHO EVER LOOKS IT TO SLUM TOW COMPANIES THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED!
Needed a dead battery jump on a Sunday morning. Owner of Gold Star showed up in short order, and when he said he would. He was a very pleasant guy, and price was fair.
