Absolutely insanity that these people use a automated service to take calls!!!!!!!! When this place was American Auto Recycling the service was excellent. Now its horrible. I cant even get a core refund from March of 2025.
I bought a transmission from their online store. Everything was excellent except their online store is unable to return my core charge despite returning my core. "Different Department" said the employees at the storefront. I called that department and was told my core charge was in process. Still no refund. I will be wise to this sloppy process in the future. Still good parts and prices.
I have been coming here for over 10 years, they have the best prices in town of they don't have what you're looking for they will definitely try and find a way and who might have the part for you. I definitely have to say that everyone is friendly and always there to help especially Josh. He understood what I was going through and helped me with getting a new motor for my dodge journey. My kids and I very much appreciate what Josh and B&R auto wrecking has done to help us out of our situation.
In the last year I have tried using this business between 5 and 8 times, tried to once again to day and was on hold for over 15 minutes without even speaking to anyone. This has been the case every single time I have called. Never again will I give a business that much of my time as a customer.
We purchased an engine from them and they have yet to return us our money. We followed all the protocols that they advised us to follow along with paperwork/ receipts and til this day have not received anything. Really disappointed on this as they took my payment with no hesitation but when it came down to fixing the problem they are doing nothing about it. Definitely won’t buy from them again ! Horrible customer service.

Joe went above and beyond to make sure I got a part that I was in desperate need on. The first part delivered was incorrect and there were multiple issues trying to get me the replacement part but in the end the part was delivered by American and Joe stayed late at work to make sure it all went smooth. Really appreciate it.

sit on hold 25-35 minutes each time.
parts arrive obviously broken and not useable .
hopefully its better next time or it might be the last time.
part 2 EXTENDED - was told it was gonna be brought back out friday. not only did I not get it yet (monday afternoon) but i cant get communication from my salesman Cesar - 3 unanswered emails in last 4 days and im not waiting 30 more minutes on hold. Ill drive to gilbert and return the stuff and remember who not to use next time.

I do not recommend B&R Auto Wrecking. I called and was immediately put on hold. Five minutes later, an associate answered, mumbled something super fast, then put me back on hold without letting me say even one word. After 25 more minutes on hold, an associate picked up and hung up on me. I was on hold for a total of 30 minutes and was never given a chance to ask or say anything. B&R Auto Wrecking displayed zero customer service and completely wasted my time and that is why I do not recommend them to anyone.
Don't bother going there! We bordered a part that we had to pay for in cash, they canceled the order and had to send me a check ad refund of $180 not only did I waste gas and time but I never got my check
No one answered my call all day even though I left multiple messages and called often. When I got there, desk guy acted as though it was an effort to go and see if my part was their, instead, he initially wanted me to come back tomorrow, and hour and a half drive either way. I got the part, but it looked like it was extremely old and dirty. The guy in parts area didn't seem to understand what part I was looking for, I had to point it out, and I have no idea if it will actually work, he just said ' brong it back if it don't'. No one cares it seems. Also, it was about 50 bucks more than I was quoted. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this model needs work, especially with hired help.
I work in auto service. I had 2 engines sent to my uncle. Not only were they the wrong motor both times, But both had water inside the plugs... I don't think they even have a good engine. No customer service. Can't answer a dam phone. Company's like this should not be in business! Shadyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I was on hold for over 45 minutes to ahold of someone just to confirm a part before driving an hour. I would rather pay a little more here locally. Good luck staying in business that way!
On hold for over 30 minutes. When to store and was still on hold. Ask if this was typical customer service. And J.R. said sit down and wait. I asked to speak to the owner. J.R. (junior). Said, the owner won't do anything! Junior said he still will get HIS paycheck no matter how long YOU ARE ON HOLD OR HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO WAIT.
I WOULD LIKE A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER OF AMERICAN AUTO RECYCLING, CONFIRMING THAT THIS IS ATTITUDE HE WANTS TO PORTRAIT TO HIS CUSTOMERS!

JR was extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgeable and I was so impressed at his ability to assist with my request. My shifter was faulty on my car and he was instrumental in finding the correct replacement part for me, as well as explaining what the issue was and how the repair would resolve it. My car works perfectly now! Prices for parts and labor were amazing when compared to other shops I’ve been to, as well as research I’d done on average costs for this type of repair. You can tell that JR truly cares about his customers! I will be recommending American Auto Recycling to all of my friends and family!
I’ve had to self source a few parts after an accident and JR helped me get a part my mechanic claimed was on back order next day. Was friendly and honest and saved me a lot of money. Would recommend to ask for JR if they need helpful advice and fast service

This place is amazing for car parts. I’ve been getting parts from here for months now and JR has been taking care of me. Very cordial and respectful and speaks Spanish. He is the guy to go to for parts and will get it to you on time no hassle.
I was in the market for some new parts for my truck and I was looking for a affordable place with good customer service and I came across this place and read some reviews so I decided to check it out and I was impressed with how kind people were and the guy that helped me was JR. Man I thought I knew about my truck but boy was I wrong , JR knew a lot more than me. He not only helped me with what I was looking for but he also educated me as well. Came in one day to buy a starter and the front person Luis took care of me. Was very helpful and knew what other cars were interchangeable and gave me the best price with the lowest mileage. Also appreciate his service in military very good guy will come back again.

This is by far the best place to go for any auto parts! The customer service is top notch the gentleman that helped me was JR Cruz and he went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. Friendly and polite, however the phone system barely works for inbound calls (you'll likely be on hold indefinitely you call them because their phone system is malfunctioning). Since I couldn't get through after being on hold for over an hour, I had to drive out in person to check if a part was available. The employee tried to go check and take pictures of it, but it was reported to be located in an inaccessible area. No matter, I ordered the part anyway so someone else can access it in the next couple days and have it ready for me.
They called the next day and left a voicemail saying actually, that part is missing, but we have another color, is that OK? It was, but unfortunately, I didn't answer the call because it came from New Jersey and I figured it was a spam call. I called back about 20 times trying to get through, and somehow was lucky enough to make it past their hold music/messages and to a real person.
The next day I got another call saying actually, that part was also missing. How do you lose so many parts in your own inventory? This is not a u-pull-it type operation - employees are the only ones accessing the vehicles and parts. Just annoying.
Horrible service. I called Thursday and paid for an ac blower. Went over after work. And they said they were closing and didnt have the part i already paid for. I go over the next day aroud 3:00pm. And they still hadnt pulled my part. I sat and waitied for 45 min. And i had to leave never got the part its fri theyre closed over the weekend and i dont have the part i could of ordered it online and receive it earlier. The reason i went there and didnt buy online is because i needed it that day.
I manage a body shop and I have called this company to place a parts order and have been put on hold for over 21min.s. I have call from another line and was placed on hold again. They do not even give you time to say anything, just please hold then they forget about you. This is not the first time. It happens lot. I would rather someone take my number and call me back, rather than be put on hold for a long period of time. Did this company change hands ?
Ordered a rim last week and hadn’t heard anything so we called today and they were rude from the start. Put me on hold for almost 20 mins and when i was taken off hold the rudest guy was talking to me and said there is no order when we ALREADY PAID. Never had someone be so rude on the phone before and don’t plan on using them again. DO NOT RECOMMEND
