Hands down the best Auto Recycling yard in phoenix area!! My company has never had any issue with American Auto. My go 2 Sales guy is JR. We always receive great service, price, and warranty. Very knowledgeable team.

This place is amazing!!!! But what makes it a great place to go to get auto parts is the people one in particular and his name is JR Cruz. He helped me with all my questions and he actually knew what he was talking about. His customer service was 10 out of 10. If you are in need of auto parts please go here and make sure to ask for JR Cruz you won’t regret it.

I was in the market for some new parts for my truck and I was looking for a affordable place with good customer service and I came across this place and read some reviews so I decided to check it out and I was impressed with how kind people were and the guy that helped me was JR. Man I thought I knew about my truck but boy was I wrong , JR knew a lot more than me. He not only helped me with what I was looking for but he also educated me as well. Definitely worth the drive you won’t be disappointed but make sure you ask for JR!

This place is amazing for car parts. I’ve been getting parts from here for months now and JR has been taking care of me. Very cordial and respectful and speaks Spanish. He is the guy to go to for parts and will get it to you on time no hassle.

Great place to buy used auto parts! They have like 24 locations in 5 different states. If you need a part they can get it!!

Friendly and polite, however the phone system barely works for inbound calls (you'll likely be on hold indefinitely you call them because their phone system is malfunctioning). Since I couldn't get through after being on hold for over an hour, I had to drive out in person to check if a part was available. The employee tried to go check and take pictures of it, but it was reported to be located in an inaccessible area. No matter, I ordered the part anyway so someone else can access it in the next couple days and have it ready for me. They called the next day and left a voicemail saying actually, that part is missing, but we have another color, is that OK? It was, but unfortunately, I didn't answer the call because it came from New Jersey and I figured it was a spam call. I called back about 20 times trying to get through, and somehow was lucky enough to make it past their hold music/messages and to a real person. The next day I got another call saying actually, that part was also missing. How do you lose so many parts in your own inventory? This is not a u-pull-it type operation - employees are the only ones accessing the vehicles and parts. Just annoying.

Came in one day to buy a starter and the front person Luis took care of me. Was very helpful and knew what other cars were interchangeable and gave me the best price with the lowest mileage. Also appreciate his service in military very good guy will come back again.

Brianna was great! Her customer service was top tier. Did not have the exact wheel I was looking for, but if I ever need another part I will be sure to buy from her!

Recently started my business in the used car market and speaking to JR on parts I need for my units has made my business easy! I live in Goodyear but driving here and getting the help I need is worth the drive every time!

I was having a hard time looking for a part for my Jeep. I was searching the google and called American Auto Recycling. I got to talk to JR Cruz and he knew everything about Jeeps. He had great customers service and I will be back. If you need help he is the one to ask for!

As a business- this place isn’t trustworthy. Proceed with caution. The counter people talk the talk but will turn around and loose all customer service professionalism. Sometimes it’s worth buying from somewhere else.

My salesperson was a young lady named Brianna. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and concerns. Reasonably priced parts, which was a plus!

Ordered a part and received in reasonable time and good price. J.R Cruz displays knowledge of used auto parts and completed my order quickly.

I manage a body shop and I have called this company to place a parts order and have been put on hold for over 21min.s. I have call from another line and was placed on hold again. They do not even give you time to say anything, just please hold then they forget about you. This is not the first time. It happens lot. I would rather someone take my number and call me back, rather than be put on hold for a long period of time. Did this company change hands ?

Horrible service. I called Thursday and paid for an ac blower. Went over after work. And they said they were closing and didnt have the part i already paid for. I go over the next day aroud 3:00pm. And they still hadnt pulled my part. I sat and waitied for 45 min. And i had to leave never got the part its fri theyre closed over the weekend and i dont have the part i could of ordered it online and receive it earlier. The reason i went there and didnt buy online is because i needed it that day.

Ordered a rim last week and hadn’t heard anything so we called today and they were rude from the start. Put me on hold for almost 20 mins and when i was taken off hold the rudest guy was talking to me and said there is no order when we ALREADY PAID. Never had someone be so rude on the phone before and don’t plan on using them again. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Trying to call about a part been on hold for almost 30 min. Still waiting as I write the review... Everytime I call back I keep getting someone who says please hold but they never answer after saying that. I've called almost 10 times now☠️☠️☠️
