Gun Creek Off Road Towing was a true godsend when we were trying to go camping with our kids and ended up with a flat. He went above and beyond to get us back on the road and get our tire fixed and knows what he’s doing. We can’t recommend or thank him enough!!! He saved our family weekend.
Truck broke down at “The Jug” trailhead, just north of Lake Rosevelt, 30 minutes away from Tonto Basin. Had to leave the truck over the weekend, insurance company wouldn’t send for a tow. So Monday morning, 6am, I called Marty at “Gun Creek Off Road and Towing.” He answered right away, developed a plan, and gave a well priced, reasonable estimate for the repairs.
By 2pm, same day we were driving our previously doomed truck back to Mesa Arizona, without a hitch! Thank you for the excellent off-Road recovery!

After our incredibly positive experience with these folks a few days ago, I looked them up on Google to leave a review. I'm certainly not surprised that they have a 5-star rating across the board. We were connected with "Blake at the lake" by way of US Rider insurance... a program that typically covers us when we haul our horses, but also covers us for non-horse adventures. We weren't hauling horses, but we were hauling our boat. We arrived at the lake and realized that the spare tire that had just been put on by a shop in Safford a week earlier after a previous wheel issue was completely shredded. The shop in Safford had put the tire on by improperly using an impact wrench and my very handy husband was unable to loosen the lug nuts. We left the truck and trailer at the marina and put the boat in the water. Blake said we should just go boating and enjoy ourselves while he got our wheel off. After a short trip around the lake, my husband went back up to the truck to see how Blake was getting along. Blake gave us a couple of t-shirts and removed the shredded tire. All expenses were paid by our US Rider policy. Overall, this part of our challenging day was the absolute BEST. We highly recommend this business.
I managed to bury my 2500 truck in the bermuda flats. Marty with Gun Creek Towing answered promptly, and had great communication. He took his time and was very careful around my vehicle. He kept a great attitude throughout, and we were able to get unstuck. Anyone broke down or needs a tow in the Tonto Basin I highly recommend Marty and his services.
Dylan drove several hours early in the morning to help us out in a remote place. I am very grateful he was able to help us. He was very friendly and he brought his dog. My kids are still talking about all the tricks she could do!
My K10 died on me out on the 188 at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon, worst case scenario. I called Gun Creek expecting an answering machine but to my surprise was answered right away and I was told someone would be headed out to me immediately. Dylan arrived in about 20 minutes, loaded up my truck and hauled me back in to Punkin Center, he was very professional and made an unfortunate situation a pleasant experience. I'm glad these guys are out there and I really appreciate the exceptional service. I highly recommend them!
I am so grateful for the wonderful staff. They helped me out on a weekend went out of their way to run to valley for parts on a Saturday to have car ready so we weren’t stranded. They were amazing being a female I don’t always have best of luck finding an honest and respectful mechanic. Words can’t explain how grateful I am thank you for all you do.
Had an issue getting a tool I needed to fix my rig. Even on a Sunday morning, Dan and Troy were so willing to help I was absolutely shocked. I was born and raised in rural Arizona and have since moved to the valley. I forgot how nice and sincere business owners in small towns are. We could all learn from Dan and Troy’s business ethics. They will always have my business in tonto basin!
Dan and Dylan from Gun Creek Off Road and Towing are AMAZING! My best friend and I were camping in tonto basin and her car battery died. They were able to come out and trade out the battery in no time. Dan was very helpful in deciding what to do and where to get the battery since some places are more expensive than others. Even tried to save us some money which we really appreciated. Definitely would use them again next time we are in the area and have car trouble. Thank you Dan and Dylan!

While on vacation with the family we ran into a hiccup with our vehicle. Being out of the area we called Gun Creek for a tow. Not only were they extremely fast but when I looked up the owner himself with his glorious silver mullet was there to tow us. They were extremely professional, and very affordable would definitely recommend anybody in the area Dan and his crew top-notch keep it up!
Had a problem with my side by side they were quick to fix what I had going on also if you need towing I broke down on the side of the road with my side by side they were there within 30 minutes to pick me up great service great driver.
