Horrible! One star is too generous! Don’t think it’s ok to park in any lot downtown Flagstaff…even if you are running in and out of a local business! They have people waiting in parked cars and will boot you as soon as you walk away and then charge you $180 for being there less than 10 minutes! No exceptions, no warnings, nothing. As I waited for the person to come take off the boot, I realized she was parked a mere 2 spots away just waiting to boot someone else! She even acknowledged I was only there a couple minutes. How crappy is that! If you are going to have people sitting there to boot you immediately , how about at least telling the person as they get out of the car that they can’t park there? I’m a Flagstaff local and I am embarrassed and appalled that a local business would treat people this way, how about showing a LITTLE grace? What a great impression you are making on people visiting Flagstaff…a city whose major industry is tourism. I’ll be sure to tell everyone I can to NEVER use Economy Towing for anything. You guys used to be a decent local business but now you truly suck!

I recently used Economy Towing and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. The communication throughout the process was outstanding. My tow truck driver, Cooper called and texted me prior to arriving BEFORE the scheduled time to allow time to load my vehicle. Not only was Cooper prompt and communicative, he the was the utmost professional - friendly, courteous, and made sure my vehicle was secure and handled with care. I felt reassured throughout the entire process. Overall, I highly recommend Economy Towing service to anyone in need of a reliable towing service. Their promptness, communication, and professionalism truly set them apart from the rest. Thank you!

I understand that towing companies don't usually get a good wrap, on account of what they do, but these guys are scum. Please don't give them your business. I parked in what I thought was a Bank of America parking lot for 5 minutes, come out, and I've got a boot from these guys and a $180 bill. The parking lot only has one sign in the back, BEHIND SOME BUSHES, that tells you it's private - no signage or markings on the parking spots where I parked! Turns out, Economy Towing has one of their employees permanently parked in the lot to make it look safe, and tows people as soon as they park their car and enter one of the nearby shops. I saw 4 other people get booted in the 10 minute window I was there. The owner is making thousands a day - THOUSANDS! - off folks like me in college that don't have the money. That isn't "the fault of the land owner" - that's extortion by a company running a tow trap on kids, and using government land to do it. Read the other reviews here - the owner replies to them by talking trash and gettin' high-and-mighty with college kids that had their cars booted. Well reply to this: Up yours buddy!

Economy Towing is awesome! My truck broke down behind Ashurst Lake. They loaded myself and two boys up and drove us all the way to Mesa. The driver stopped a couple times for us, so my boys could use restroom. Driver was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend them.

Cooper is top notch!!!! My son needed the truck jump Cooper was fast to arrive and super nice while helping him! With my two kids going to school in Flagstaff. It’s nice to know that there is some like Cooper we can call if need be! THANK YOU COOPER

Friend parked at my apartment complex for 1 hour and was booted. Plenty of open spaces. Give me a break. $180? Ridiculous. Yes, I know... park in a visitor designated spot is the rule. But come on, have some decency.

You know at least this company boots cars first before towing them. This company also takes card payments and is pretty nice if you just listen to why you were booted. Companies like Flagstaff Towing on the other hand only take cash, instantly tow your car, and charge you hundreds of dollars for overnight fees and some random made up bogus. Although i do think parking should be free everywhere (that’s why it’s only 4 stars) i believe that this company is pretty honest with the prices and boots. You could’ve had your car towed and damaged, atleast these guys show up asap and take it off.

whole tire almost came off going 75 mph on interstate 40 stranded in the sun no shade anywhere but luckily shawn came out quick got us to sum where safe and gave me instruction on what nd how to fix THANKS SHAWN

We have a 30 year old GMC truck that we use for donations and occasionally needs a tow. Yesterday was the first time the truck was tied down properly and didn't bounce or shift around. (I was following it.) I have watched the truck and our Buick SUV bounce around with other tows. Thank you to the driver Alonso at Economy towing in Flagstaff for doing such a great job and for setting it down gently at the garage.

Beware and never use economy towing. They use college students to hide and boot vehicles than they extort $180 to remove threatening a tow truck and a 300 fine. I will bad mouth this company forever. Watch out for this person hiding in her white car at hilltop apartments 1200 San Francisco.

Van wouldn't start at the Grand Canyon no matter what we did. Mike from Economy Towing rescued us and towed our big ole camper van to the RAM dealer in Flagstaff. Very efficient, professional, courteous. Really knows his stuff! Thanks so much for helping us! 10 stars out of 5!

I wish I remembered my driver's name , he was awesome ! I was involved in a collision Friday June 14th , 35 miles south of Flagstaff on Lake Mary Road. Hit an animal , smashed the front of my car , left me inoperable. The cab of the truck was clean, and plenty of room for my children, and the cab was warm. The driver was super knowledgable about the whole process and the rules etc etc. Thank you so much !

We broke down just outside of Flagstaff and Kurt from Economy Towing helped us with absolutely everything we needed. He suggested an auto shop and contacted the owner for us, then helped us get to our rental location. He even made sure that we had all we needed before leaving. 100% A+ service from Kurt. If we ever need assistance again, we will absolutely use this company. People like Kurt are gems when everything else seems to be going wrong.

Our boat trailer received significant damage after the coupler hitch failed and detached from the tow vehicle at highway speeds. No injuries but the trailer and boat were in a bad location on the side of an interstate highway with too much damage to tow. Kurt from Economy Towing arrived and skillfully loaded the trailer on his flatbed and took it to a repair facility of our choice 80 miles away ensuring it was in a safe location after business hours.

This company was so helpful. They went out of their way to help us. We called them at 9:30pm- we had been “booted” by another company- had paid the ticket and could not get the boot off. Even though it wasn’t their problem, they helped us send someone out and he was terrific. Thank you Kurt

This company is a leach. First time in Flagstaff after several hours of traveling and just trying to look for somewhere to eat. We parked in a parking lot that looked as though were no signs. When we came out our vehicle had been booted. We called and asked how much it would be several times and were told they didn’t know. Once they showed up to take it off it was the maximum price on this sign that was BEHIND A TREE. Mind you, we had been at said restaurant for maybe 45 minutes. When we called back to ask why it was the max charge the lady simply said “I don’t know. You didn’t ask.” As we were waiting we realized that there were several other cars in the lot dealing with the same issue. This leads me to believe this company is leaching off of tourists in the area and charging exuberant amounts because we have no other choice. Shame on you.

This company was the one and only company that could get me unstuck. I got stuck in snow and cinder in a driveway on the outskirts of Flag. Not even a remote location, but because it was not a paved road, I called damn near every tow service in Flag and they all said no. I was starting to wonder if civilization itself had abandoned me. Maybe I'll just leave my vehicle stuck in this person's driveway until the snow melts. But finally I called Economy, and they were up to the task. Andy came to get me, said my predicament was nothing, as he regularly tows semis. Even got me unstuck a second time. The price was very reasonable considering no one else would even try to help me. Everything you need or want from a towing company, Economy delivers. Especially if you're off paved roads (like we often are when we're STUCK!) Call Economy!

These scumbags towed me for not having a permit to park in the guest spot where I lived. You don't need a permit to park anywhere in the parking lot except the guest spots. How does that make sense? This company is just a bunch of thieves. It's one big cash grab.

Incredible service and experience thanks to Shawn. Snowed in at Grand Canyon on Easter Sunday with a flat tire from rental company that was not repairable. Shawn drove to pick up replacement vehicle and delivered to us. He was extremely professional and his commitment to helping us was outstanding. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend his services.

Best towing company, hands down! Trevor picked up my son and I with a broken cv axle on I-40 and Meteor Crater at 9:45ish at night and took us to a repair shop. The next morning when that repair shop couldn’t help, Trevor was there to pick us all up AGAIN to take us to another repair shop in town. Super friendly, honest and caring. Helpful in our stressed out emergency situation FAR from home. Ten stars!

100% DO NOT RECOMMEND. Zero stars for this absolute garbage business that preys on people. $180 to remove a boot that was put on my daughter’s car that was parked in a poorly marked area at the post office for less than 10 minutes. Beware if you go to Flagstaff. $180?, absolute robbery. Shameful vultures.

Our insurance company called economy towing after an accident. Eddy towed our car from the accident to a collision center. He was professional and friendly and made things easy. He then dropped us off at a rental car center, which saved us the headache of getting there on our own. Hopefully I never have to get towed again, but I’d gladly call economy towing again if I needed to.

My family and I drove up from PHX, taking the kids to a park near hotel and unfortunately tire lug nut issue, couldn't drive it at all!! My elderly mother and my two babies in the car.... getting dark, Alfonzo was beyond helpful, I was a stressed out mess, and he made the experience safe getting us back to hotel and he dropped the car at dealership! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

BEWARE to all paying patrons that park at the restaurants in Flagstaff on S. Milton Rd! My daughter parked at Dunkin Donuts, went inside and purchased an ice coffee and a breakfast item. She went to her car and grabbed her backpack and had to run some errands that were in walking distance. Came back to a boot on her car. She was gone for only an hour. Traffic is crazy due to the construction so she thought it would be better to walk to her errands.....I guess not!. Economy Towing video taped her " abandoning " her vehicle and slapped a boot on it. What vultures, praying on college students! Cost her $180 to get the boot off. She called the office and tried to dispute the charge but they said they had video of her walking away. I have read so many articles complaining about this company putting boots on vehicles. I guess you have to make your money somehow, even if it's unethical. Update: just spoke to Economy Towing. They are contracted to, I guess, sit in that plaza and watch/video tape people come and go. If you have business in that plaza you need to drive the 3 to 6 feet and repark you vehicle. Otherwise......you get booted. So, you better not park at Dunkin Donuts, leave there to go to Jimmy John's to grab a sandwich for later or walk to another business because the Towing company is watching you and policing everyone. Wow!
