Took 8lbs of crushed cans and they reimbursed me for 6lbs of uncrushed cans. Went from $6.40 in cans to only $3.00. Used to go here all the time but now I would rather take my recycling to across Sam’s Club for free than do “business” with these guys again.
well my first impression isn't great. I've been calling all morning and no one has answered the phone. I'm trying to find the price per pound but info dosent seem to be available anywhere
THEY ARE PRICE GOUGING BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO. DONT GO HERE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO! .......50 cents per pound compared to $1.50 in the rest of the country. $2.00 per pound compared to $3.15 + everywhere else!! Does it matter what I brought in? It is all price gouged.
I don't know why they have such low stars, because we've been going there for 5 years, and we've never had a problem with them. They've always been professional with are can recycling needs.
Extremely unprofessional and dishonest business ethics. I used to recycle aircraft and didn't just fall a turnip truck. You will be ripped off here. I was just payed $14.60 for 62 pounds of clean aluminum. You can't read his receipts. Prices he's paying for clean aluminum are a full 200% lower than if you drive one hour down the hill. They'll never see my business again and hopefully more people will take their recyclable materials out of Flagstaff. I hope they go out of business and Flagstaff funds and honorable team to pick up where these people left off.
Arrived at 1 an employee was opening the gate saw us and closed it again. call about 10 after 1 said they were on there way. Left at 1:20 gate still locked. Guess they did not need the business.
Went here to scan my old catalytic converters after installing new ones with new exhaust. They offered my $30 dollars. I went to another recycler and was offered $260 complete scam on prices.
Take my aluminum cans to cash out for pocket change. I like going because they are open and accessible from the street.
When you go make sure you know about how many pounds you have, watch the scale, (some times they try and cheat you,call them on it.) Thank them after you sign the receipt and have your money in your hand.
I bought about 10 pounds of metal for a project and they charged me $10 and I gave an extra five just to be nice. I ended up not being able to use the metal for my project so I brought it back a few days later and they only gave me 2 dollars back. Lol not cool
I went to drop off some recycling, (cardboard/plastic) they don’t do that here. It’s a scrapyard. They directed me over to Norton Environmental, which was more of the kind of drop off place I was looking for. I gave them a good review because the bad reviews seem unjustified. You’re selling your trash! It is practically worthless. What are you gunna do, put your random piece of metal on eBay? Your truckload of cans? Sorry, saving your cans is not a side hustle. It’s just the right thing to do. Be happy!
Waited from 1120-1213. Called at 1130 female answered stating they were at lunch n open in 10min. Well called again at 1208 saying its been over 10min. Female stated she wasn't there but would call them. It would be nice to have an OUT TO LUNCH sign posted on the gate and POST lunch times on Google instead of having 6+ cars in the median waiting for it to open.
Been sitting outside for over an hour from 12:45 to 1:45. They were at lunch?!? Says 8-5 not closed for lunch. I understand people need to eat but post different hours or stagger lunches. Must have seen 10 people drive up and leave. Your employees are losing you money man!
Places a complete rip-off. Had 100lbs in brass and copper. Sent my wife while at work and they took complete advantage of her. She walked put with only 90$ 30lbs in clean copper and the rest they just called dirty brass....most of it was yellow. DO NOT GO HERE
A little disappointed, took a 2 hr drive cuz it said .80 cents for cans here. I took in126 lbs and they gave me .60 a lb.. like really. Change your sign to .60 cents nd don't cheap ppl off recycling !
They will rip you off!! I took them a bunch of aluminum to scrap and they didn't clear the scale before weighing my stuff. I went to see the weight and they didn't actually weigh it. They told me 16$ and the girl handed me 11$ dont trust theis guys.
Very Unprofessional business, I was selling a car here in running condition. They valued car at a price, but when I came back to sell the car the same day, they reduced the price we had a deal on. They’re the worst in professionalism ever. I would not go back there, and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.
I feel so glad to be able to recycle reusable materials that would either end up buried, wasted in the earth or floating in trash heap somewhere in the sea. Isaac's recycling is hands down the best place to take your recyclables. I have taken steel, copper, aluminum and plastics to Isaac. He is always extremely nice and professional during our transactions. He has always paid me well for whatever I brought by. Best you can find In the flagstaff area!!
Issac's recycling is the best in town! Super friendly and always give us a great price for our cans and plastic bottles. I've been going here for years and it's the best recycling option in Flagstaff!
The guy is honest. I don't know what all these people are hitching about. They think 10 lbs of cans is worth more then gold. All you have to do is ask what the price is if you don't like it then don't sell to him. I've never had a problem no matter what I bring. I weigh it at home and it always is the same there
We brought in a mix of cans , which on their website says they pay .70 cents per pound but when you get there they pay way less and say that it has to be 50/50. They didn't count them out. We had a van load and a truck load and only got $100, half of what we should. I am going to report them to the better business bureau. We got .40 cents a pound instead of the .70 cents a pound. He is ripping people off. Really, you want to respond with lies, You told me it would be 70 cents a pound then you changed it. That is ripping people off. You are dishonest and lie!!! I would tell people never to go to you.
I go here ever two weeks. I have my CRV cans crushed and sorted only with CRV visibly stamped cans I deliver them in clear plastic bags. He pays me 90Cent a pound for CRV stamped cans. His scales matchs what I scale them before I leave. I also take plastic and he pays 40cents a pound. Same deal clear clean plastic in a clear bag. No hassle. Paid cash on the spot.
I brought in 22 pounds of alluminum cans and 19 pounds of plastic bottles. They paid me $9.60. The sign said 90 cents for all crv 70 cents for mixed. I brought mixed. Regurdless, what they paid me was about 25 cents a pound.for both. I thought it was too low, but i didnt do the math until after I had left. Dont go to this place. Go to the guy off route 66 on the west end of town. Hes more fair and a very nice guy. Although you cant find him on google, hes just past the Maverick on the right side going west. Past home depot.
