Chris was the guy! New trucker who has never broken down before and he did an amazing job getting me off the highway and the shop did a great job fixing the truck.
I came to this shop with fuel line injector leak of some sort that speedco messed up on. Tyler at this velocity location listened to my concern and decided to take a look at it right away. Where most people wouldn’t even look at the problem for hours just to tell you if they can or can not work on it. But Tyler is an AMAZING service man whom I’d love to come back for future truck repairs. He understands truckers value of time.
I strongly advise against using this center. I brought my truck in with a specific issue, and instead of properly diagnosing and resolving it, they simply cleared the fault codes. I was charged $700 for two hours of work. Unfortunately, the problem returned the very next day, leaving me stranded in the middle of the desert. This experience was both costly and frustrating.
I was quoted $1,500 more than any other shop for repairs. Tyler the mechanic offered to do it for cash for a fraction of the price, I assumed I would still be getting a repairs warranty or something as the work was still preformed at a dealership by a freightliner mechanic but not the case! My truck broke down again due to Tyler leaving some coolant lines loose and my truck lost all coolant and began overheating. When I called back I was told by the receptionist that there was nothing they could do even tho it was repaired by their mechanic in their shop!
Typical, while on Vacation and a confirmed schedule, we experienced a DEF/DPF issue on our 2020 Tiffin Allegro Bus. After being towed 180 miles to this location in the middle of the night, the next morning, Tyler the “Super Mechanic” came out and correctly identified all issues and then Melissa, Tina and Crew jumped thru hoops to get the needed parts ordered and on their way. Nobody wants issues, but we are pleased with their service in getting us back on our scheduled vacation as quickly as possible.

Today was a reminder as to why I love to take my truck to VELOCITY TRUCK CENTERS.
I always get excellent customer service at their dealerships.
My service advisor, Melissa was very helpful and explained everything clearly and really cared about my concerns.
Janice who was also very knowledgeable and helpful.... They both went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied.
My HAT is also off to my technician Tyler who is highly skilled and diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired my truck .
And a BIG thank you to the service manager TINA who was the mastermind behind everything that was done and released my truck back to me in RECORD TIME !!
THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL !!
I can't say enough good things! Super friendly people, clean grounds and as fast as they can be! It's down the street from a homeless shelter but most seem decent enough to feel safe still. This is a great place so don't let it deter you!
If there are 0 stars They deserve it. I've been here for two days,they said there was a cut in the wire, and after that Give me my truck at 5:30 at the end of the day then drive my truck only 50 miles the truck broke down on the shoulder same thing they look like They never fixed anything and for your information they changed everything new, and took $3300 from me
Let me say 1st and foremost this shop is amazing from staff and technicians. Melissa was wonderful!!! This repair was a big job but it was no match for the Flagstaff shop. My truck is driving brand new thanks to everyone at Velocity. I highly recommend this shop for any truck issues and concerns. Once again thanks everyone at Velocity!!!
The estimate to fix A/C controller was almost $700.
The final bill was $500.
I had to wait over the weekend to receive the part.
I could not be more pleased to have A/C again...pulling 5th wheel with a Freightliner FL 60....Wife is happy too.
Melissa's communications with me throughout the repair process was AA+....
I never wondered what was happening.
By far…a hands down shop!
Tina at front desk..is super friendly and keeps you posted as much possible knowing us truckers need to get back on that road.
Tina kept a smile on her face even when I saw them get really really busy.

Unless you have to order a part…this shop gets it done.
They only have so many workers, so you can’t blame the lack of people that want to work today on the shops “get-Ur- done” work ethic. They get it done!
They do have over night parking for Bob-tails and a small trailer lot.
And they have showers.
And nice drivers lounge.

While passing through Flagstaff, I received Freightliner recall for our Tiffin Phaeton. Talked to Tina (Service Advisor), said they had the parts required for recall & also informed me I had another outstanding recall that needed to addressed. She scheduled an appointment & said we would be back on the road in a couple of hours. Which is kind of hard to believe, but true to her word, we were back on the road by 10:45 am. Experience was outstanding, want to thank Tina and the team at Velocity!
This post is for RVrs. We brought our Newmar due to "check transmission warning". Good thing I did. Had to wait three days for parts which we dry camped in the parking lot and no problem. Had the complete PM service, a Freightliner recall, and the transmission. Once the parts came in (one day earlier) things got started and completed in about 5 hours. We were on our way heading east on 40 interstate. We can't say enough of the staff. Janice, Lisa and Hayden went way beyond working with us. The cost was a little high for our pocket book but it is what it is. Had we not completed this work who knows what other problems or breakdown this could have happened. Very good team working together in the Flagstaff office. Keep in mind that they are instituting a 10 year old cutoff for rv's coming in for service. So make sure your coach is acceptable.
I came here for DPF replacement and 6 of my fuel injectors. I was very lucky to have Tyler for mechanic he replaced everything within 5,5 hour. I am extremely satisfied .
Came in with derate, mechanic was knowledgeable and identified problem right away, back on the road in about 24 hours. Facilities are very driver friendly. Also Tina was more than helpful.
Tina at the Service desk deserves a pay raise, a medal and a proper vacation. She went above and beyond for everyone in there for the 3 days I was there. I've never seen anyone handle so many problems all at once as well as she did.
The rest of the staff were friendly and I had a great experience.
Tyler worked on my truck & was amazing - he was knowledgeable and friendly! I came here with a 2019 Freightliner that was derated to 55mph. My inlet nox sensor was going bad and I also needed my ACM software updated. I also needed a regen and SCR efficiency test to clear the derate codes. The price was fair and the service was fast. I was out and back on the road in 3hrs. Janice was great too, helping me breakdown the invoice so I understood what I was paying for.
I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area that needs work on Detroit engines.
Tyler was great, and they didn't even charge me. The head of a bolt connecting a trailer to our RV popped off and we needed the remainder removed. He took less than five minutes, including inserting the replacement. Thanks!
Great group. My truck was in and out with no issues. Parts are available pretty quickly. Front-of-house ladies were great. Parking is an issue. They are on a narrow street with no real lot. Don't get caught in a snow day, you'll get plowed in.
My truck was there for 3 days, they only diagnosed yesterday afternoon. I decided to take our truck to the previous shop where they replaced parts and without doing any work, they called me this morning and asked my approval but I decide not to do there. Then they provided me bill $662. Save your money and time, Avoid this place please. I would give them zero star if it was available.
At first I would’ve given them a five star review because they were super helpful answer the phone and got my order in the mail immediately. But then I needed more parts that they didn’t tell me about and then they wanted to charge me $18 to ship it. I have a belt that is probably the right part number but the wrong belt is 3 inches too short and now I can’t get a hold of velocity truck centers to return it or exchange it. I have called 10 times in the past few months and the phone just rings and rings. There is no response to my emails whatsoever. Their online contact form doesn’t work….
Overall, I had a wonderful experience with this freightliner service center. The staff was extremely nice and understanding. They had listened to me when I was telling them what was wrong. Then they had examined it and given me an estimate before doing any work. They had fixed the problem rather quickly compared to previous experiences I had with other mechanics. I was very satisfied when I had left with my truck completely fixed. They fixed the problem I had within a few hours and I am able to drop my load off on time. I would recommend this particular service center to anyone who needs a fix.
Avoid this place.One week to install new clutch and transmission .they made 2 times test drive to make sure everything works good. when i took the truck the driver side diesel tank was shutoff.... then next day after about 700 miles of driving i heard a noise from transmission and here are the picture how they double check the truck and made the work
