I considered on a huge repair in your shop in Flagstaff because you have an excellent reviews on Google and I left you one for towing service. Probably there are a lot of great mechanics in your shop but not that ones who fixed my truck. Your manager gave me verbal one month warranty on a labor but a big issue that your mechanics made was discovered later. I didn’t say anything when you finished repair on a two weeks later, I didn’t say anything when there was not enough oil in the new engine when I picked up the truck. I didn’t claim anything when found my exhaust shields and towing hooks missing. I agreed on $500 compensation for road service when my truck didn’t start in NM after few days from engine replacement, because your mechanics didn’t change the fuel filter and I lost my next load and three working days (I have checks and rate confirmation). And my new engine was enforced with starting fluid what could damage it! But, after all those troubles, some noise and vibrations comes up and I put my truck for diagnostic in the another shop. They found engine bushings broken and your guys who swap the engine couldn’t not see that! Your shop charged me additional $300 dollars for bad fuel lines but why they didn’t advise to replace the bushings while it was easy?? Now I had to pay again for work with new engine and bushings replacements. I lost one more week and took flight from Chicago to my home in Los Angeles and back! And all of this after I paid $44600 to Murphy’s! I have submitted a claim but got no word back and of course no compensation for bushings at least.
I had a light issue with my 2023 Pete and stopped in and was greeted and then James walked out to the truck. James addressed the issue and said he would get right on it while I checked in with Jessica. The issue was fixed without too many items and it was probably one of the best job ever. Both James and Jessica were professional and of course super friendly. Without any reservations I recommend working with both James and Jessica at Murphys Towing! Just hope I'm in the area if ever I have truck issues in the future.

Chris did an above and beyond service call. He rode along with me to see what was going on when i was having trouble with my moving truck and after the repair to help me understand what the difference was. He kept me in the loop about what was needed to get us safely back on the road! Tim was a fantastic professional tow truck driver! He pointed out to me things that were needed to travel safely whilst pulling my trailer! Michelle and Brad were both friendly and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the repair process that helped get our moving truck back on the road and home safely to Minnesota! I'll admit that I complain a lot about how bad customer service is when you're on the road. However, these guys are awesome. Jessica Cody and Chris had me back on the road very quickly and their prices were reasonable. I Had a tire come apart on me a few miles from Ash Fork made a quick phone call. Jessic was very nice and a pro on the phone. The had a quality Tire in stock. I was in and out there and less than an hour. Highly recommend this shop!
What a great team! I was traveling across country in Penske 26 ft truck with a car carrier when warning lights started showing on the dash. After coordinating with Penske they directed me along with my wife, cat and good friend in the “chase” vehicle to Murphys. Unfortunately Penske’s system showed a bad address. Once I realized that I reached out to Murphys directly. I spoke with Jessica from dispatch who cleared up the issue and sent me in the right direction. Once at the shop, I met Michelle in Service. She immediately took control of the situation and put the repair work into motion. Alex, the technician, showed, up got the story and went to work.
The problem was quickly identified as a faulty sensor. It was replaced and a regen completed. We were back on the road in less than two hours.

I am an owner operator who hauls high value time sensitive open deck freight in which I developed mechanical issues N/B on 17 phoenix to flagstaff. I pulled over near 6 pm and phoned a couple of shops that didn’t answer or had no offers of assistance for several days . I contacted Murphy’s HD Tow / Repair and was fortunate enough to have spoken to Michelle who was extremely helpful and honest with scheduling availability. Having a ARI sleeper truck and in need of shore electricity Michelle assured me that Michael the GM would make accommodations for me and he did . Michael set me up and also assured me they would tend to my repair needs as scheduled and they did. While there for 2 days most of my assistance came from Jason who was constantly checking on truck and personal needs (almost like a concierge) , thank you “J” I appreciate you. Obviously we were in a remote area, but literally every place I called for a tire was not the least bit interested in providing road service. AAA I'm looking at you! Driving to Flagstaff from Phoenix in a Penske truck I started to lose coolant. The company they sent out to diagnose my truck was Murphys Towing. They got here faster than the eta. The technician Christopher Butzlaff diagnosed my truck quickly. Unfortunately I need a radiator. Murphys towing already has a tow truck inbound. I recommend this company for your road side emergencies.

We we're traveling in our Rv when a belt broke. We decided to spend the night on the highway because it was getting late after making many calls. Finally the next morning called our insurance they refered Murphy's. Jeff arrived in the ETA that was giving to us. Jeff was laid back and giving the situation he assured us no problem to big. Towed us to our RV park where we were staying so we could hook up ie. (Water and electric.) So at that point we could wait safely for our roadside mechanic (Dave of Roadside repair). Who was also great. Could come and fix our Serpentine belt that had broke.

Outstanding customer service and knowledgeable of diesel. I was having a problem with my engine overheating. The head mechanic Alex was actually off that day by stopped by the shop. He had the mechanic on duty check a few things. To come to find out, my radiator was clogged with dirt. This guy is an asset to your company for knowing stuff like the, along with Chris, Jason, Michelle and Brad. You have a great team there.
These people were so kind and worked hard to help us! Chris B came first to see what was wrong. The police wanted to have us towed but he took the effort to ask if he could escort us to the shop. In the morning we met Alex as he was coming into work. I ask if he would look at the wheel and explain what I needed. He said yes sure. He crawled right into it lol. He worked all day taking that thing apart covered in grease and needing to eat. He is diabetic. We then met Michelle and Brad…. Oh my goodness. We laughed and shared stories. Turns out Michelle was friends with my daughter on tic toc. Small world. They were both very professional and handled my boss like pros so I didn’t have to. Teagan has been here all day but volunteered to stay over to help us get on the road. I hope I never see any of these people in this situation again. However I feel like I made some friends today. I will stop by and bring lunch sometime and shot the breeze. They made a crazy situation bearable..
I was stranded on the side of the interstate hauling an oversize load. My truck was overheating so I pulled over to let it cool off. It shut down and wouldn't start again. Chris B showed up, and helped me get my truck running again. He was really nice and very professional. Big shout out for saving me!

Like many stories that involve a tow truck, first I did something less than intelligent. : ) I called Murphy's, got an immediate answer. Violet understood the situation and had me send some pics of the situation for the truck operator and I kid you not, less than half an hour later Caleb was onsite and got be back in the road. James and Jessica to the rescue! They saved us. AAA is horrible and didn’t tell us about this shop. We were stuck for hours on the side of the road and managed to make it to Murphys Towing. James got us on the road and made sure the truck ran tip top! So thankful to have found this shop.
Another truck cut a corner and took my bumper off (as well as other damage) while I was sleeping. Needed the bumper to be taken off so I could finish my run and make it back to the shop. Called murphys towing, young man came out (forgot his name) with his well mannered dog and removed the rest of the bumper for me and strap it to the back of my cab, as well as cleaned up and hung the wiring harness so it wouldn't swing around or short out. All in all, took maybe and hour and half. Quick and professional. Extremely happy with everything including price. Won't hesitate to call again.
